Lovely17 · 10/10/2023 13:59

so asked for an update, she said new claims are taking 19 weeks minimum 😫 🤦‍♀️ I’m absolutely sick of waiting. She said end of October start of November and it’s not with any dm x

@allofthelove aww it’s awful, we can stick it out another few weeks & hopefully get the outcomes that we want 😩 x

I really hope so . I'm trying not to think about it. It would help my daughter so much . All I sent in was a confirmation of epilepsy and her CAHMS report saying she has autism and low processing . I'm already thinking it's just going to be denied .

Kelmum2three · 10/10/2023 15:30

I caved in and called as it was just doing my head in not knowing anything
I'm 16+4 now. 1 hour & 10 mins later 🤯🤯..Still in holding and won't get looked at until 19 weeks... To call back around the 26th. I'm calling Monday though after my daughters assessment to add that on.

Same scan date as me. I hope it not that long as that’s half term so probably lots of DM’s will be on holiday!! So stressful waiting x

Yep i know and I didn't think of that with it being half term 🙄 I hope it's before then too as it's my 40th the week after and don't want my birthday ruined by it 😞

Any updates for 07/06 scan dates. I called yesterday so didn’t wanna call today and seem like the crazy lady that won’t stop phoning (that is me)😂😂

I’m already there I think 🤔 xx

Lovely17 · 10/10/2023 16:44

@allofthelove my fingers are crossed for you, try not to think of the negatives, I didn’t send that much either & she hasn’t got a diagnosis as of yet… you can always do an MR if worst comes to worst, I will be doing one if we are denied. It’s just the unknown for now though 😞 21 days and hopefully we will know! 😊 x

Hi 07/06 here and received text message this afternoon that we have been awarded not sure of rates but very happy they seem to be on these sort of June dates now xx

MCcrazymummyx · 10/10/2023 16:56

Hope everyone has good news soon xxx

Boymum333 · 10/10/2023 16:59

Omg!! Congratulations that’s amazing❤️❤️ hopefully us next xx

Mumtotwoboys121 · 10/10/2023 17:10

Congratulations 🥳 not sure how they are saying 19 weeks when so many are being approved sooner x

Georgia1721 · 10/10/2023 17:14

New here, anxiously waiting. Scan date 09.06 😬 anyone with the same date

MCcrazymummyx · 10/10/2023 17:34

Mumtotwoboys121 · 10/10/2023 08:27

Not sure if you’re asking me this but the nursery requested it x

I would say if you can do the parental one and get the nursery to back you up and really elaborate all your child's difficulties not just in an educational setting they may be more willing to assess. Plus nurserys are brilliant but can be abit vague in the requests which isn't their fault but the LA will recieve so many requests for similar issues if it comes from you you can give them a more detailed and full picture of your child's needs and what you want as a parent as you hold the most authority. I'm only saying this from conversations I've had with sencos and early years team to get the best possible outcomes. Do they already recieve GSP Funding at all ?

Luevzamum · 10/10/2023 17:39

@Georgia1721 hey, I’m 9th of June too but myn is for a change of circumstances so yours will probably go through any day now if it’s your first time applying or renewal as someone from 7th of June has just been awarded x 😊

Thank you, we’ve already done the application we are on the first stage. Currently have to write my thoughts about his development etc. and why I think he needs an EHCP. Im going to send the supporting evidence I sent for the DLA application about his needs x
