Fml.. 🙄 That's ridiculous, hopefully they just over estimating... You're roughly about the same date as me aren't you? I'm the 16/6 xx

Yes I’m 15th. It’s so draining. I need to book stuff for her during sensory sessions but can’t do anything without knowing.
she needs it so much.
my 2 boys are also asd and I’m already stretching myself between the 3 of them.
dealing with school stuff, constant meetings.
trying to do a year 6 transfer review on ehcp and yesterday I got back the final document for the review we done 15 months ago 🤦🏻‍♀️
I don’t think I’ve got the energy to fight it all anymore 😭

Tiredmamma74 · 10/10/2023 09:34

My sons was due to run out on 20th June. I sent renewal forms in on 4th June. I called a few days later to check they’d been received and they had but hadn’t been scanned. So she scanned them straight away and my renewal was completed a week before it run out. @Whereisautumn

Same! I am tempted to call at the end of the week though...

Teachermum3 · 10/10/2023 10:22

Hi all, like many I have been keeping an eye for the last few weeks. Today I am 17 weeks with my scan date being 13/6.
I am working today so can’t call, have any with the same/similar scan date had any information whether their claim is with a DM yet?
I am trying to stay positive- like many. My daughter has an ADHD diagnosis and due to her marvellous masking, school are very unhelpful and to the point where they have refused to put a one plan in place- last academic year. She has a new teacher this year and I am waiting for our up and coming parents evening to push for more to be done. Especially as the ‘SATs’ are looming, and I know she will struggle with the overwhelming fear of failure. She is a bright button and because of that I feel she is allowed to slip through the net. But at home she explodes with emotions outbursts and for someone who doesn’t struggle academically her care needs do not correlate to this. She needs help with dressing, undressing, hygiene, no sense of danger or social context. She still wets the bed, and bedtime in itself is a battle as her anxiety and creative imagination prevents her from getting to sleep. She gets angry hits out and damages things. She is a beautiful whirlwind 😂 If anyone has a little
girl who is very much a like, and can share if their daughter has received/ been refused DLA this would be great. If they have contacted the school I can only imagine this won’t be forthcoming for a positive DLA outcome. For the extra information/statement we got her childminder to complete this which outlines and shares similar care needs we face at home. The only evidence we sent was her diagnosis report.
It is so true, the closer you get, more anxiety seeps through. Sending lots of crossed fingers for everyone else in the same boat nervously waiting an outcome.

Ririjade1990 · 10/10/2023 10:30

Hi all just to update everyone on my timeline. Scan date of 06/06/2023.
Rang today to be told my daughter has been awarded HRC and LRM the decision was made yesterday at 17+6 days.

Hannahlou94xx · 10/10/2023 10:47

Just marking my place here , hope everyone gets their decision soon xx

Cocopops22 · 10/10/2023 10:53

Scan date 23/06 the last two weeks or so are dragging!! I want to phone but there’s no point as I’m only 15+4 but my boy was diagnosed with autism two weeks ago so I’m hoping we get awarded and trying to be patient, Good luck everybody xxx

Daisydimples · 10/10/2023 10:56

Would someone please advice me on the universal credit side of things ? In regards to what we need to inform them.

creeve09011990 · 10/10/2023 11:00

im scan date 5/6 and still waiting to hear. anyone else around my date still waiting like me? its still with decision manager the last time I called x

ladyKJ85 · 10/10/2023 11:03

I'm 06/06. I chased them up about 2 weeks ago and was told up to a 20 week wait time! I've seen a few others getting their decision for around our dates now so hopefully we'll hear shortly.

I don't seem to have received any post for well over a week now. Do they let you know about the decision any other way than by letter? I'm mainly concerned about them refusing my claim and me not knowing about it for weeks due to lack of post.

Daisydimples · 10/10/2023 11:06

I'm the 6/6 I called on Thursday it was with a decision maker, they put a note on the account to text when a decision was made. I hadn't heard anything so called this morning and the decision was made yesterday. They didn't text! Maybe give them a call surly a decision would be made by now.

creeve09011990 · 10/10/2023 11:08

oh interesting cos I had a note put on to text once decision was made cos i kept calling everyday - congratulations! Maybe i will call - i have been trying to fight the urge but surely should have heard by now, its been with DM since weds x

creeve09011990 · 10/10/2023 11:11

right - on hold to get through - Feeling so anxious! xx
