Can I ask how you found out? My daughters claim was declined on the 29th and I put in for MR on the 2nd and sent extra evidence off on the 3rd, I was told it could take 4+ weeks

Scan date : 14th June

Two texts : 21st August and 12th September

Evidence : Risk assessment from nursery, portage evidence, letter from HV stating GDD, letter from nursery saying how sometimes lack of sleep affects him whilst there.

Have a feeling I've done my UC side of things wrong. However, hoping on Saturday it can be corrected. Can anyone advise me on the CA side of things? As I'm not sure whether to add that to our change when I see an adviser on Saturday

Hi hun ,you should hear back today,they phoned me too ask a few questions and awarded on the phone,but I rang every other day as it should take a week xx

The dla told me on the phone that I had been declined ,so I told them on the same day I was going to do MR,and they look at it again. If I was you while you are waiting for your claim, get the forms for MR printed out gather as much as you can even if it's just a letter from yourself and put it too one side,I was given 2 weeks from the day I went for MR and never received the forms I had them printed out . Be prepared just incase xxx

@Mumtotwoboys121 how are you getting on with EHCP? I applied in August and got declined to assess so I've just put appeal in at the weekend

We are literally at the start I need to fill out why I think he needs an EHCP? Nursery are pretty certain he’ll get one cos he’s non verbal. How old is yours? So bad these things get declined! X

Did you do the parental request or supplement to nursery application ?

Not sure if you’re asking me this but the nursery requested it x

Sams here! Majority of appeals get overturned so fingers crossed we’re both successful

I wrote a in depth letter,got a letter from school and downloaded the forms myself so you don't have to wait . If you are prepared it is less stressful so when I rang up and told me I was declined I told them on the phone I want mr and I was already too send everything off and ready to go xx

You're the same as me. Had the same texts too. When I called a couple of weeks ago to add something on to my claim he said to call back week 16th October for an update 😬

I literally got straight through without going on hold at all.
so last week I was told 17 weeks which would be this week. But now just been told it’ll be November. But it might be sooner.
I also added extra information over the phone that daughter now been referred for ARFID.
I’m Losing hope 😞

Hi, so Im 17 weeks today. Had to send my sons birth certificate yesterday special delivery. Ive just seen its been delivered. Does anyone know how long it will take for them to scan it?
im hoping if its done today our wait time wont be delayed due to the complication. I was told yesterday it wasnt with a DM so hoping its scanned before 🤞🏻
Really hoping to hear by end of next week (scan date 13/06/23)
