@Luevzamum have you heard anything yet x

Luevzamum · 30/11/2023 02:29

@Jneill2021 hi, I’ve received a letter today saying thanks for asking us to look at your decision again. This could take 11 weeks. I’ve got a letter from my child’s social worker and from the occupational therapist, I’m going to post them tomorrow. Just as extra evidence. Did you do a MR of so have h sent anything else in xx…. I’m still waiting for the letter stating the reasons why they turned him down for HRM which they’ve not bothered to send for some reason 😫

Jneill2021 · 30/11/2023 10:35

@Luevzamum I havnt sent in my Mr yet I have a meeting with senior at my sons school tomorrow she's going to help me and write a supporting letter; I requested a statement of reasons and they didn't send it with the 1st letter had to request it again and the reasons are so silly ita unbelievable saying at 1 he could walk he's nearly 6 now and has extreme refusal to walk episodes every day I'm going to argue under the smi rules and vuw as I think he meets criteria for both tbh, I'm just struggling with evidence for servere imparment of intelligence, he can't read can't write dint understand things a child of his age does but its hard to have evidence when it's not like he can have a test or anything,
Hope you hear back soon I've only got till the 9th so Monday I'll have to send next day delivery xx

Luevzamum · 30/11/2023 12:48

@Jneill2021 do you know the address where we have to send more evidence to, he did give me an address but it’s like 2 lines long and I want to check it’s correct xx

Jneill2021 · 30/11/2023 13:58

@Luevzamum I'm sending mine to this address

Confused.com - any ideas ?

I had an extra payment from.Dla this week. The letter had no explanation other than what we owe you from 1/11/23 - 28/11/23 including the £10 Christmas bonus.

With a lot of fighting my child got the decision overturned and entitled to the low rate.

But I have checked everything/ dates / payments etc and haven't even sent in my coc and further evidence yet.

I have tried and tried to get through but with no joy. Hence asking on here. I mean I'm not complaining but I also can't aford for them to be making mistakes and requesting money back. So I'm a.bit worried.

Just wondering if it is some other payment I don't know about or if anyone else has had the same.... I will try calling again obviously but just curious. Thanks in advanced.

Hey everyone, so I applied for dla back on June and got refused, did an MR at beginning of October, just received letter this morning that my 9 year old son has been accepted until 2031 middle rate care low rate mobility, absolutely delighted, keep fighting for your child, only a mother knows 😀

xxAmy · 02/12/2023 14:34
