DLA wait times Part 13

I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

If my form has 16th May on but date they received my form is 31st May which one do I go off in regards to wait time?

The date on the letter would be considered the “scan date” which is when you should calculate 17 weeks from. So your date is the 31/05

Thank you, I feel like time is actually going backwards at this point!! The wait is really getting to me now the closer it gets

I phoned them this afternoon, to see if I had time to send in more evidence, was told it’s not been allocated to a DM yet. And had plenty of time to send it all in. Said it should be another 3 weeks. Scan date 26th may

I agree !watching the progress says otherwise my daughter still has a long wait but I'm doubting it will be 5 weeks my concern is I haven't sent enough evidence I only sent diognosis sheet

If you have gathered more evidence then you could send it first class tracked next day that way it won’t be delayed as much. I sent more evidence received last Thursday and my scan date is 13/06. But I probably won’t advice sending once reach 15 weeks plus and May already be with decision maker as it can take 2 weeks. You can always keep evidence for MR if needed.

I didn't send any evidence my sister filled it all in so didn't think to send in letters ect. I wish I did now as mines been with DM since 7th September and they're currently waiting on the school to get back to them. If I'd have sent in the evidence it wouldn't be taking this long. As long as you have filled in all names and numbers for anyone that can verify what your saying in the form it doesn't matter just takes even longer when it finally goes to the dm lol

Purely curious….has anyone had a decision made at 15/16 weeks or is everyone over the 17 week mark?

woke up this morning to back pay , scan date 18/05. So pleased we’ve got the support we need.

I've been following this thread but haven't posted yet, just wanted to update that I've received a text this morning to say my daughter has been awarded dla, scan date was 22/05 so took exactly 17 weeks. Such a relief!
Hopefully everyone with similar scan dates should hear asap x

I have sent off evidence last Wednesday, scanned on Thursday. Called today and they received it and added to file on 15/09 which is Friday. The lady said that because I wrote reference number it was easy and fast to scan through. So if you do send make sure before Friday and include ref number, DOB and name. Hope this helps

24/5 just called still not with a descion maker said will be by end of this month middle of next not fair x

What was the date they received yours? I was here thinking I have 5 weeks left but this thread has made me think I have a lot longer 😬

Hi everyone scan date 23/5 rang today and it's with a decision maker..they said they can't give me a time when I will get an answer as it can 2 days or up 2 weeks ..but reassured me it will all be back dated ..fingers crossed it doesn't take 2 weeks the waiting and the no knowing isn't nice at all

I'm same date, woman I spoke to this morning wasn't helpful at all. Very dismissive and unwilling to even tell me if with decision maker
