DLA wait times Part 13

I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

I’m also 19/05. Monday I was told it still wasn’t with a decision maker. Hopefully it is now. I think I’ll ring Monday, dreading having to go through MR 😩

17/05 called today still with DM

I called on Tuesday this week and was told its been approved as of Monday scan date 10/5. Received monary today. So you should have back dated payment by Tuesday

Thank you, I was just wondering what rate was awarded as obviously doesn’t say in the text. Also desperately need a special needs pushchair so that will be great if it’s next week

Mine is 15/5 it's been with DM all week. Have you called at all? I don't think the wait means rejection it just depends what DM gets it and how quickly they work.

Tried to call today, got to an hour and got cut off, will try again in the morning!

Hi all I'm so glad youve all got your awards! Well done and congratulations 🎉 last week they didn't award my daughter so I've asked for mandatory reconsideration, I'm just wondering what else I can send off as I have gathered alot more evidence, I've got a letter from school, ( they lied on the decision letter and said school said she requires no extra help, so I obviously went straight to senco and asked why and she said they never even spoke to her!) photocopys of her diagnosis and a detailed letter explaining how I don't think they've taken anything into consideration, and wrote down all her needs, and also a copy of her independent plan from school... is there anything else that will help? There are no other professionals involved with her so I can't really get anything else! Any advice appreciated :) x

I think your doing everything you need as it looks like your DM didn't do any actual work in your case so it will be done properly next time around. Make sure you file a complaint too. I would it's rediculas.

Hopefully 🤞 I'm hoping it doesn't go as far as tribunal cause I don't think my mental health could hack it but will deal with that if we come to it, yes I'm definitely going to complain because it's all absolute nonsense, sending evidence of using special delivery so I've got proof theyve got it cause I don't trust them now lol

Anyone with around about 9th june scan date?? I’ve not even tried to call for an update yet, I was just wondering if anyone with similar date has called up and asked for an update at all ?

I think it’s too early in my opinion, my scan date is 14th June and going to wait a couple more weeks before I call x

I was 15 weeks yesterday people earlier in the post said they have called and been quoted 17/18 weeks I’m gunna hold off another Week possibly two if you get an outcome let me know x

I just got straight through scan date 18/05…. Bloke just said my sons claim is ‘ in the bundle for a decision maker’ so hoping that means it won’t be too much longer 😭😭😭 x

I just called them, I have a scan date of the 19th may and they have said looking at 19 weeks. Middle of October for a decision:(

Called at 9, just on hold now hoping to get somewhere today.
Hope your claims are the next to go to DM, as mine is 18/5 and went to DM on Tuesday so there must be a few bundles for that date which seems crazy considering how much someone could scan in one day.

I definitely think they tell a longer timeframe to stop people ringing. Also it must depend how much evidence people are sending in
