Scan date of 18/05. I’m still waiting, hoping this week 🤞

I called Monday and Tuesday it's still with a DM but no text still it's a long wait when your seeing people the same scan date as you or after being given a decistion :/

The wait is over.. ....although dissapointed on the time scale as its for 12months which surely means i will have to renew soon as that takes it untill 17th may 2024 . But my boy has been awarded higher rate carer!!! Thankyou to everyone for support and good luck to you all waiting!!!! Xxx

Hi, I've never posted before but kept my eyes peeled lol I have just phoned for the first time, extremely rude lady after a 1hour 20 min wait said so why you phoning today. Hmm anyways she said no there's not been a decision made yet thank you bye literally. So does that mean it's with a decision maker? Or is that just me being fobbed off literally

Sounds like they didn't look into it at all, it seems to be luck sometimes if you get a helpful person or not. Do you know what your scan date is and is it a new claim or a renewal?

It's a new claim scan date is the 20 May. Was horrible won't be ringing again.

I ve rung twice and had two different people who actually were helpful. You could try again at 9am tommorow to hopefully get someone else but they re up to the 17th now and I was told my scan date of the 18th went to the decision marker on Tuesday so you should hopefully be next week if it hasn't already.

First time posting. My scan date was 16/05 and I got the text today to say my child qualifies. I’m so relieved I had avoided calling them because of the wait time. Does anybody know how long after you receive that text you receive payment?

My scan date is 11/5 and seen they are currently at 17/5 and 18/5 but not heard so anxious that it’s been rejected.

Just received a phone call saying my son has been awarded DLA and he shall finish completing it tomorrow!!! Our scan date was 18/05

That's brilliant news, did they tell you what the award was over the phone or just a case of waiting for payment/ a letter?

Hi everyone its been a long wait but I woke up with a payment of £1615 today for dla I've had no text so I've tried to work it out and it only way I can make the figures work is mrc and lrm for 17 weeks which is how long its been since the scan date (16/05)
I rang up on the 6th of April to get the form. Should it of been backdated from this point? As I had a peice of paper I had to send off with the forms with this date stamped on it.

Followed this group for many weeks. Our scan date was 18/5 and today our 12 year old daughter was awarded HRC and LRC, back dated to March 22nd. Phoned them to be told the good news (long wait 90mins +) They said they are advising people 19-21 weeks now. However we are at 17+1 today.

Thought I'd post to give people an idea of where they are up to. Fingers crossed for everyone

Think I ll call them again tommorow, so many 18/5s with responses and I don't fancy waiting over the weekend to find out I have to do an MR as he's been rejected if I don't have too.

I finally got the text this afternoon to say we qualify so relieved was 16 weeks and 6 days scan date was 19th May good luck to everyone else still waiting

I’m 18/05 too- I think I’ll try and ring tomorrow as well, mainly so I can prepare myself to fight them on MR, I hate not knowing 😭

I feel that they’re flying through May!

That's the same scan date as me, 19/5. Fingers crossed I hear something tomorrow
