I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

I've been awarded! HRC/LRM forms scanned 15/05. I called yesterday and was with a DM. Called again today and told actually it was completed 3 days ago over weekend!

Good luck to everyone waiting and thanks for all the help during the process! Xx

Louloumm87 · 12/09/2023 12:51

Congratulations on positive outcome. Hoping I hear back soon. Scan date 23/05. Man I spoke to last week said they have taken on new staff and are working weekends to catch up with backlog

Louloumm87 · 12/09/2023 12:53

@trace34567 mine is day before yours 🤞 we hear back soon

Fingers crossed 🤞
May the odds be forever in our favour

Chazspence12 · 12/09/2023 13:21

I have just got off the phone to dla and the man I spoke to said new claims are taking upto 19 20 weeks and I don't know if I heard right but apparently they've got over 40 thousand claims to deal with 😳 he said my claim hasn't been allocated as of yet still in the holding que and isn't with a DM scan date 19/5 it's just being prolonged this wait constantly it's sending my anxiety through the roof

Rebbit2013 · 12/09/2023 13:25

I’m on hold now… scan date of 18/05 ( despite sending the forms on the 05/05 😭😭😭) it’s sending my anxiety through the roof because all of this wait and might not get awarded and then it’s yet another battle and another however many weeks of stress 💀💀💀 x

Thank you! Yes; that's true. Mine was awarded on Sunday just gone. Good luck to you x

Siennasafiya · 12/09/2023 13:26

@Angry84 everything crossed!!

Siennasafiya · 12/09/2023 13:43

@Angry84 maybe worth you calling. Mine was awarded on Sunday. No text or anything received. Payment should be with me by end of week. Good luck to you! X

zoeybrooks45 · 12/09/2023 13:46

It seems as though call handlers are sometimes not giving accurate information, the most accurate is to follow with awards being announced, and call if you have reached 17/18 weeks.
It would be helpful if people put evidence sent and award timeframe to guide people on what to expect.

congratulations for the great news, hopefully not long for the rest of us. 💐

Celestiaxo · 12/09/2023 13:53

Phoned today, she couldn’t even tell me where we were in the queue. Says they’re now on 19 weeks delay and only on around the 1st week of may. We’re the 25th may. Last week we were in a holding queue, now she doesn’t know where we are!

Rebbit2013 · 12/09/2023 14:03

I literally just want to cry- she’s saying 21 weeks from scan date- said I won’t hear until the second week of October now. I feel so deflated and upset

im 19/5 and the man I spoke to yesterday said we should hear by the end of the month as on average they’re taking 18 weeks. Seems like everyone is being given different information. I’ve seen quite a few with 15/5 scan dates being awarded now so I can’t see it taking much longer 🤞

I'll wait till 3.30. I reckon it will be Wed as that's exactly 17 wk I think. I don't want another battle I've got enough going on as I'm battling the senco atm. I hate this sooooooo much.

Rebbit2013 · 12/09/2023 14:11

Scan date 18/05, it’s just so frustrating, I completely appreciate they’re backlogged but they’ve changed the goal post so many times and I just think if my son doesn’t get it I then have the whole drama of MR 😭😭

OMG the waiting times are ridiculous, I'm in the same boat as you and i feel deflated and upset too

Cannot be 21 weeks when some have heard already. Keep positive 🤞🏻🤞🏻

1990shopefulftm · 12/09/2023 14:56

18/5 and I m trying to hold off till Friday to call again, before I find it hard to resist putting a complaint in.

Need DLA to get 1:1 funding at DSs nursery and apply for UC carers element or carers allowance so I don't get sanctioned when he turns 3 for not working the appropriate amount of hours. It just doesn't feel right that I could get punished when they keep moving the goal posts for something I sent the forms off 5 months ago now.

Mom23milly · 12/09/2023 15:00

Has anyone actually received a text to say a decision has been made? Or are they not sending them. I keep being told ill receive a text

I feel completely the same! It’s the constantly being told another 2 weeks…. Followed by another 2 weeks, and course I’m so nervous my son hasn’t got it and that’ll just tip me over the edge 😂😂

I feel the same, after two NHS departments have added 4-6 months onto my son's original waiting times for referrals I don't have it in me to hear anymore it ll just be x more time.
