DLA wait times Part 13

I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

Think it's quicker in northern ireland as its a different system

Scan date 10/5. Called on Friday and was told its with DM, should hear this week. Was told I might get a text depends if DM is in office or working at home.
How long does it usually take? I've seen many post of ppl already been awarded around same scan date. And if successful how long before I get backdated pay?
Will update the thread once I get a decision. Xx

It seems as though we are between 10-20 May. Some are getting decisions earlier then others but this does not mean you are getting declined, some DM are faster than other. Hopefully by the end of the week we will have a better idea of dates once people start getting award

The last text I had like that was my second text and it was August 7th haven't had another since and it's only just gone to DM

@JME85 I don't know how closely related they are. Ours was awarded 30 days after second text, but I didn't know until I rang up a few days after that. The letter followed about 4-5 days after I'd rung.

Sorry I do not know as i ahve had the same on week 12 now approaching week 15

My scan date was 14th June so week 13 and just received 2nd text x

They must be automated as I received second text this morning. Scan date 13/06. Week 13

Has anyone had a decision this week? Scan date 17may and with a dm since yesterday.

Hi our scan date is also 13/6, and I received a text this morning saying to not call etc etc. it’s such a wait isn’t it?. Thanks for everyone’s updates, as it’s really helped x

I sent my son’s forms via Freepost in January and it wasn’t received. I had to get forms out and sent to me again so his scan date was in March. I found out in July that he was awarded MRC. He’s only 16 months old so I was very grateful.

Now onto my DD who is 2. I called for forms at the end of July and sent them in August. I sent them via recorded delivery and saw that it was delivered the next day on 11th of August. Haven’t received a letter to say it’s been received so I called them last week Friday. Well surprise, surprise the forms aren’t on the system and can’t be found.

As I have the tracking details, I provided it to the lovely woman on the phone and she said she’ll send an email so that someone can look for it manually. I have to wait 10 days so it means we’ve wasted nearly 6 weeks. IF the forms get found then the wait time will start from then. If they aren’t found then I have to start again. I’m so pissed!

Did you hear? They received my claim 11/5 and I’ve still not heard. It’s 18 weeks on Thurs and worried we’ve been rejected!x
