So I just called I’m at week 15 they have said it’s in the que to go to dm. I should hear by the end of next week it’s taking up to 15 weeks to get to the decision maker if that helps anyone.

Yep thanks. I’m at week 15 today and didn’t even bother calling as they said near enough the same thing when I called on Friday.

Looks like we have a little longer to go!

Ll333 · 03/07/2023 15:40

It’s a night mare she did say they have had over 88 thousand claims to deal with this year so far so they have had a big back log. Some send a text some don’t. Some say it’s approved and others just say a decision has been made. So none of it’s clear and mines a complex claim for a rare condition I feel after all this he will probably be declined anyway 🙈

clareykb · 03/07/2023 18:09

We are 15 and a bit weeks, I have never called before, rang today and she said 2 more weeks 😳 but random people being told different things

Mine is the same! My son is 14 months old and has a rare genetic disorder called DYRK1A. I must have sent close to 80 pages of evidence and now I’m wondering if he didn’t get it.

The anxiety the wait brings is crazy! We’ll all here good news soon🤞

Ll333 · 03/07/2023 18:32

🤞🏽🤞🏽 I’ll keep you updated x

Mummyto3boys23 · 04/07/2023 19:35

Hi I sent my dla forms back and they were received 19th April. Has anyone had theirs accepted that were sent around the same time?
Thanks

Ll333 · 04/07/2023 19:43

Hi well mine is 20th march and still waiting 😅

clareykb · 04/07/2023 19:45

Think you will still have another month plus to wait. Mine were recieved on the 17th of March and we haven't heard yet. Rang the otherday (hadn't bothered calling until 15 weeks) and was told wasn't even with a decision maker yet

ItsBritneyBitchhhh · 04/07/2023 20:34

A few people on the FB group with a scan date of 20th of March have been told the claim still isn’t with a DM and they’re looking at 2 more weeks max.

Yet one woman who also has a scan date of 20th of March has a decision already. So bizzare how it all works!

@Mummyto3boys23 you may have a little while to go!

Mummyto3boys23 · 04/07/2023 20:57

I've never claimed for anything before so all very new to me. I've been told so many different things from them I don't know what's the truth. Hate waiting aswell 🤦‍♀️

ItsBritneyBitchhhh · 04/07/2023 21:05

@Mummyto3boys23 this is my first time ever claiming for anything relating to my son’s disability. It’s hard to wait but fingers crossed it’ll all be worth the wait🤞

Kenny312 · 05/07/2023 00:12

Is anyone waiting for a coc decision scan date 4th April

Kenny312 · 05/07/2023 09:08

@Mum331 I am so relieved, I felt that they hadn’t looked at all of the evidence the first time round and picked out one sentence from 1 of the documents and homes in on that
but so glad I fought it and she has been awarded
good luck to you all x

Mammy0f4 · 05/07/2023 09:21

Has anyone had an update off universal credit yet, or knows if the disabled element will go on your next statement or is it a lengthy process

Adhdmummytoyearold · 05/07/2023 11:49

Scan date was 14th march, i have got a text this morning at 8am saying I’ve been awarded, i wasn’t expecting that as i only gave assessment letters, reviews from school, and adhd/asd pathway referral. I didnt have a senco for him at all either so i was quite nervous as i thought you would need a SEN. So happy as i was not expecting it at all and didnt think i would be awarded. Thought I’ll update you guys as I’ve been here readijg since march.

So happy for your little boy! Congratulations🥂

Mummyto3boys23 · 05/07/2023 12:53

So pleased for you and your boy.
I'm so nervous about it. My son was diagnosed with adhd- we had to go private due to how Impulsive he is and hyper. No idea what to expect 🤦‍♀️

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 05/07/2023 15:28

@Kenny312 I'm so glad you decided to go for the mandatory... im so pleased for you!!! Congratulations on finally getting the result you and your family deserve... sorry for the late response im not getting emails anymore for some reason...I've just had to apply for my youngest daughter aswell so I'm back to waiting haha!! Xx

Pk12 · 05/07/2023 16:49

Will anyone that's been awarded in last month or 2 miss out on the cost of living payment my daughter was awarded from the 9th of March. I think the decision came through on 21st june

Ll333 · 05/07/2023 16:53

No I’m sure you can go online and claim it some how

Hannahkate90 · 05/07/2023 17:36

@Pk12 I'm sure you should still get it as Ur claim was in before the end date of its assessment dates and was successful .. sure someone put on different thread you can go on and report it as a missed payment on gov website
