I ended up sending it via the letterbox because we’re on week 13 and wanted it to reach asap. It’s only when I sent it, did I see the address on the DLA FB group🫣 I hope it’ll reach them with no issues but thank you so much anyway x

Oh, good luck I hope it reaches them in time. I sent additional information by post and took 2 weeks from sending it to getting scanned on the system 🙂. When I asked on the phone she said even if wasn't scanned on in time they will take it in to consideration and if any changes need to be made to awards then that's possible 😊

Wow really! Last time I sent information on a Friday and it had reached them and was scanned in by Tuesday!

Hey guys getting so anxious now anyone from 10th March been awarded yet ? I rang this morning and I was told it was with case manager sounds promising anyone know roughly how long from there please 😊

I rang up today they said there on 6th march to the 13th this week mine scanned on the 20th so she said should be next weekend pr beginning week after and takes 3-5 days for payment for payment go In from the day they award it hope this helps someone

Ooh that’s exciting mine are 23rd/24th (two separate claims) so I assume I’ve got about 2 weeks left to wait! Can’t believe it’s already been 13 weeks since I sent the forms off, and I bet these two weeks will feel longer than those 13 did all together…

I woke up this morning and saw back pay in my account - scan date 8 March. I can't tell what the award is from the amount, but it was more than I expected. So relieved - it will help us get him what he needs in life. Thanks very much to everyone on this thread for your support.

I have to claims in one 9th and other 10th, got a message yesterday saying my child has been awarded🙌 I take it that’s just for one so waiting on the other! Hopefully today fingers crossed 🤞 xxx

We still have ages to go but it is really helpful to see people updating. Stops me wondering whether ours might come through soon (it won't!)

Hi everyone. Just an update. My scan date was the 10th and i have just recieved a text to say that my child qualifies.

Just called as have a scan date of 13/03. Have been told it will likely be second week of July before they decide 🤦‍♀️

I tried to call this afternoon but after waiting an hour I had to leave for the school. I think I'll ring Monday now if I don't hear anything 😊.

We're still waiting, it was with case manager on Thursday when I rang up still haven't heard anything. But she did say not all case managers are able to text so I'm going to ring up on Monday to see if there's any progress. 🤞🤞

On Monday we’ll finally be on week 14🥳 I’m not calling at all until week 15 to see what’s happening. Thank God we’re finally near the end!

DD has just had an initial assessment on Thursday and they said many factors point to Autism. I find her more challenging to care for than my DS who has a genetic disorder but have absolutely no energy to do a claim for her. Maybe in the new year!!

Fingers crossed to all those waiting🤞 our scan date is 20th of March so I hope we hear soon
