upthewallmumof3 · 12/06/2023 17:33

Hey everyone I've been on this thread keeping my eye, I've just got through after 1 hour 15mins 😩 my scan date is the 06.03.23, the lady was lovely she said maybe the end of this week beginning of next. Fingers crossed it's soon 🙏🏻

walker2023 · 12/06/2023 19:38

Hey All,

What is the number everyone is using to check for updates - specifically for renewal? Does anyone have an estimated time it takes to complete renewal application forms for their little ones, please?

Mumma15200 · 12/06/2023 21:09

@Lovemyones it was a new claim

Nocloudinthesky · 13/06/2023 08:12

Good Luck to everyone waiting on their decisions this week!
the wait is giving my anxiety anxiety!

I managed to ring through yesterday.. have been told different things each time I ring- but spoke to a lovely guy who said my application isn’t with a decision maker yet. Hopefully it will be within the next few days.
Scan date: 09/03 currently at 13 weeks and 5 days.

However, I would like to thank the other people who bring updates and share their own experiences and outcomes. It has really helped me survive this long wait.

Enjoy the sun everyone and good luck for this week! 🌸

My daughters renewals was sent off in April as runs out end of July I had the decision in may so was around a month for decision was shocked some people I've seen waiting untill day it's due before being looked at

Sophielx · 13/06/2023 12:25

Anyone with the scan date 28th March? When is the earliest we should ring for a update I feel like I'm going mad not knowing 😐

NDandMe · 13/06/2023 12:32

Spent an hour waiting and got through. I was told allocation isn't taking place until 15 weeks, and to allow 2 weeks for processing.

I'm at 14 weeks, so still a bit of time to go. Gives me time to send our Ed Psych report I suppose!

Bellesmummy12 · 13/06/2023 13:31

Rang up yesterday and was told it’s still with a decision maker but had a missed call off DWP an hour ago 😭. Feel so anxious now. I just hope something is awarded because the money will make such a difference to my little girl ❤️. There’s equipment I am trying to save for but it’s just impossible with how expensive life has become! Will just wait and see if they call back and if not I’ll wait for any text or letter with the decision gulp. Good luck to everybody waiting for decisions 🤞

Mumtwo301 · 13/06/2023 14:05

@Bellesmummy12 do you know what your scan date is? Xxx

Bellesmummy12 · 13/06/2023 14:47

New claim and scan date 1st of March xx

LOllypop8 · 13/06/2023 18:46

Hi all, just an update for those still waiting- I received backpay, scan date 1st March and I’m guessing awarded MRC and LRM from the amount however no letter yet, good luck to everyone waiting x

Bellesmummy12 · 14/06/2023 10:38

Hi, couldn’t bear to wait any longer so rang this morning and was told that my little girl was awarded yesterday (new claim scan date 1st March).I’m so happy for her I’ll be able to get her a seizure detector mattress with the back pay now which may mean I get a good nights sleep for once 😂 . Good luck to the rest of you 🤞xx

Lee33637 · 14/06/2023 13:27

Ive just come off the phone about my renewal it ended yesterday she said not even looked at its currently 18 weeks for renewals just had a right go at her. She said I took too long sending renewal off I said it was back within 5 weeks they received them 13 weeks ago and not even touched it made me so mad

Mumof4amazingboys · 14/06/2023 13:42

Wow that's great news congratulations 🎊 to you both 😊😊

Piony · 14/06/2023 13:43

@Lee33637 what happens in the gap? Do the payments just stop dead until the renewal comes through?

@Bellesmummy12 congratulations, that sounds life changing.

Lee33637 · 14/06/2023 13:47

Piony yes they stop altogether as will the carers allowance which I just explained to her it messes all the money up . She has though just rang back out of the blue saying she spoke with a manager and they its been put in a fast response claim so it will be done either today or tomorrow funny that

Mum331 · 16/06/2023 08:09

Good morning how is everyone, hope all of you lovely parents aren't waiting too long. How's everyone been @Lee33637 did they get back to you xx

Hi all i rang up yesterday and told it will go to a decision maker next week (15 weeks) scan date 10th march

a friend was awarded yesterday with your scan date. They called no text received. I’m on 13 weeks so I’m just going to leave it think it will be declined anyway such a complex case and a very rare condition

Mammy0f4 · 16/06/2023 19:35

Oh were they i might ring up mid week see if there is any change. I dont have much hope to be honest but would rather know either way. Aww i hope you get good news.

TiredOfCleaning · 16/06/2023 20:02

I got a letter today just confirming that it is all still in the queue for being looked at and saying that it may take up to 15 weeks. (I hope not 15 additional weeks, but it seemed to still be within the current 15 they originally told me).

I have lost track of how long it has been so far- 2 months I think about.

Ll333 · 16/06/2023 21:11

Good luck hopefully you should get some good news soon x
