Mumma15200 · 09/06/2023 21:10

Best of luck to everyone waiting as well. Thanks

Mumtwo301 · 10/06/2023 07:49

My scan date is the 9th of March for my son and daughter starting to think it’s been rejected 😳 xxx

NDandMe · 10/06/2023 08:51

If I'm in the mood to ring them up next week, what number and menu option should I use, please?

Hei1234 · 10/06/2023 10:02

I rang yesterday, my scan date is the 14th and they have said we should have an answer next week

Hei1234 · 10/06/2023 10:02

Sorry the 14th March x

Mammy0f4 · 10/06/2023 10:34

Oh I'm the 10th. I think u will give them a call on Wednesday. Now i know a decision is imminent i am getting quite nervous

Mammy0f4 · 10/06/2023 10:35

Sorry I meant i will give them a call

Hei1234 · 10/06/2023 12:05

Yeah hopefully they will have an answer by then! It’s been an awful wait

Sarahof4 · 11/06/2023 18:20

My scan date is the 2nd of march, has any one had any updates? I kept getting text messages saying they are still looking at my claim but that was a while ago now.

Mumof4amaxingboys · 11/06/2023 20:58

Hi lady's sorry for jumping in your post, My scan date is 10th March. And they say not to expect a decision until late June.
Has anyone else had this answer? Seems like a long time. Is the wait time longer in Wales than it is in rest of UK Does anyone know please? 😊

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 11/06/2023 23:59

@Mumof4amaxingboys sounds like a long wait but they are taking anywhere in between 13-15 weeks to sort new claims so counted from 10th March 15 weeks will be endish of June id imagine you will have a decision within the next 2 weeks think mine took 13 and a half nearly 14 weeks I think xx

Bellesmummy12 · 12/06/2023 09:29

I’m on hold now to find out if there’s any updates with mine. Scan date 1st March and was said to be waiting to be looked at on Friday. So stressful I just hate the not knowing 😩 . Good luck everyone else hope you hear something soon x

Bellesmummy12 · 12/06/2023 09:42

Got cut off mid call after 35 min wait and have to go back to work now 😣. Will try again later

Mammy0f4 · 12/06/2023 09:58

I was told 14 weeks, then 15 weeks then i rang to update them on my sons health and was told 14 weeks.

Mumof3girls77 · 12/06/2023 11:09

Hi all been following a while. Scan date was 1st March.. just received 2 letters today finally giving me clarification 🙏🤣 such a long wait for us all ..Good luck to those still waiting, hopefully won't b too much longer

Peachlollipop · 12/06/2023 11:29

I received my award letter today. Scan date 1 March, award letter dated 6 June. I will be going for mandatory reconsideration though.

Autismum4 · 12/06/2023 11:59

@Peachlollipop was your award lower than expected?
When going for an MR do you need evidence which they haven't received before?
I feel like I've been told or read somewhere you need new evidence to support your Mr or appeal in order for then to consider it again? Is this true or not? I have a piece of evidence I'm holding just in case or shall I just get everything in

Peachlollipop · 12/06/2023 13:24

Autismum4 - My DD wasn’t awarded mobility and I think it should have been awarded. Indont know if additional evidence is needed for an MR. I thought I had supplied plenty already. I’m planning to write a letter this week setting out why my DD should get mobility. I have to use a buggy or carry her and it’s hard work. I’m planning to take this all the way to appeal if I have to.

LOllypop8 · 12/06/2023 13:47

@Peachlollipop sorry you didn’t get what your DD needs, I still haven’t heard anything hoping for a letter today myself x

Hayhoarematthews · 12/06/2023 14:09

Scan date 13th March have forgotten about it as much as possible currently on hold to see how close it is

Lovemyones · 12/06/2023 15:10

Was this a new claim please? Thats brilliant anyway

Lovemyones · 12/06/2023 15:13

Sorry @Mumma15200 was that the new claim or renewal please?
Also @Hayhoarematthews were you able to find anything out at all please? Was there any idea given on yours please as ours is the day after! 🤞
