Hi everyone, I have been silently following this post since February when I sent my dd forms back. I was filled with anxiety and dread thinking I hadn't filled in properly and not enough evidence. I rang today as I had seen a few with similar svan dates being awarded and they had made a decision today. Lrm and hrc, I was so relieved. My dd has ADHD, ASD and ODD. My scan date is 17th Feb.

My question is my husband works and I have cut my days to look after my daughter so only working 11 hours a week as a Teachers assistant so low pay.

I have put in a claim for Carers just, do they take into account just my pay as her carer or my husbands aswell?
And does anyone know the timescale for a decision?

Just got off the phone also been told to call back 1st June if not heard anything as can be with case manager for a while …. I’m so confused too as some 17/2 been awarded but could be another week yet

I think one of the ladies called up one day and wasn’t with a dm , the following day was allocated and decision made that day … sooo that could be us tomorrow 🙏🙏

@Kenny312 that was me, I called no dm then called the next morning and she had been awarded!! I defo think you will both find out the at least by the end of this week xx

@Kenny312 I got really lucky because I was told my daughters was the first claim of the pile handed to the dm that morning must of had enough evidence there as it was a quick decision made but yours and @upthewallmumof3 must be toward the bottom of the pile hence why its taking so long I think you'll hear off them tomorrow if not the weekend team will probably be looking at it xx

i think you’ll both be sorted by tomorrow afternoon with a decision. I think they’ll want any on the pile done before the bank holiday is about to start. I requested a txt when a decision was made and never got one so if you’ve requested that I wouldn’t wait for it. Just call daily as it can go from nothing to all wrapped up in hours. Totally get how you are both feeling though. Knowing it’s with a DM and that last bit of waiting is horrible xx

Morning everyone I've had a missed call at 6.40 am from the dwp has anyone else had a call? I'm stressing now because I can't ring back till 9am 😩 seems strange someone calling that early 🤷🏻‍♀️

@upthewallmumof3 yeah just looked it up defo seems legit strange cause its early!! Unless they are working early today because of bank holiday Monday? I just read a forum snd seems everyone had that number call for different things, examples: talking about a transfer to uc, to let them know about esa backpay etc so God knows but it's legit they might try calling again soon xx
