ZRmum1 · 17/05/2023 10:10

Thank you ! Been such a long wait so far , hope everyone gets some updates soon x

upthewallmumof3 · 17/05/2023 10:17

I've just got thru ladies, they said it's 14.5 weeks now she said it's still in the cue and should be next week but the wait times can change ....... pass me the wine 🤯😂

J8231 · 17/05/2023 10:55

I have just got through after 50 mins my daughters was passed to a decision maker however I missed of her nationality like a muppet. So they need to send me a letter to then update them and then they will let me know.. how I missed that I don't know fuming with myself now. She did say though with then sending this it must mean she will be awarded otherwise they wouldn't need to know

Nicole12345 · 17/05/2023 12:14

I’m not even going to bother today, going to wait until Monday to call or maybe Friday

Piony · 17/05/2023 13:37

I sent ours off a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard a peep. Should I be chasing to check they've got it?

Mum331 · 17/05/2023 15:29

Hi all I'm on week 11, so patiently waiting i hope everyone gets the results our DC deserve xx

Nicole12345 · 17/05/2023 15:30

@Piony took about a month for me to receive my confirmation letter to say they received the claim pack but you can also ring up and ask too

ZRmum1 · 17/05/2023 16:26

Just to update received a text about 30 minutes ago to inform that my daughter qualifies. I don't know the rates but what a relief, hope you aren't waiting too much longer

Mum331 · 17/05/2023 16:28

Hi @ZRmum1 that's great news so happy for you. That must be a great relief for you
What was your scan date

ZRmum1 · 17/05/2023 16:57

Hi , scan date was 14th Feb x

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 17/05/2023 16:58

I called and apprantley they are working on 2 weeks before my scan date even though i saw people on the 14th feb be approved already 🙄 not with a decision maker yet and could take another 2 weeks i am starting to feel a little frustrated to be honest x

ClareN82 · 17/05/2023 17:42

Its literally ridiculous at this point, the anxiety is killing me. X

Mummytofivegirls · 17/05/2023 18:19

@Mumto2sengirlsxx easier said than done I know but try not to worry honestly they say stuff just to stop people ringing I think. I rang last Thursday to be told the same still not with a decision maker looking at 15 weeks , rang 10am Friday morning it was with a decision maker and by half 12 I had a text to say she qualifies.

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 17/05/2023 18:34

@Mummytofivegirls i know im un neccesary stressing about it it wont change the outcome but the anxiety of waiting is really stressing me out haha! 😅 i just wanna know so i can prepare for MR if necessary xx

upthewallmumof3 · 17/05/2023 18:38

@Mumto2sengirlsxx @Mummytofivegirls the waiting is horrendous and an added stress that we don't need but I genuinely don't think the people who answer the phone have a clue 🤦🏻‍♀️ the people with later scan dates who have been awarded before us makes u question how the process actually works 🤬

upthewallmumof3 · 17/05/2023 18:39

But fingers crossed ladies we are nearing the end now 😘

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 17/05/2023 18:45

@upthewallmumof3 i completely agree!!! Fingers crossed we all hear soon! Xx

Mummytofivegirls · 17/05/2023 18:45

Honestly I was the same I sent myself mad by stressing its a long time to be sitting waiting for a decision especially when we have other things going on ontop, I have my fingers and toes crossed for you all 🤞🥰

upthewallmumof3 · 17/05/2023 18:57

I have everything crossed for you all ladies! I'll be honest my anxiety has been awful with the wait but this chat has helped ease it loads so thanks everyone xxxx

BrokenRainbow · 17/05/2023 19:47

Hi all,

im in need to advice. I need to send my renewals this week. I only have my daughter’s EHCP, her old diagnosis letter (she got diagnosed 7 years ago) and feedback notes from her teachers at her secondary school.

will this be enough evidence? It’s never been a problem before and she has always been awarded HRC. We’ve started home schooling as she was having trouble going to school.

Nicole12345 · 17/05/2023 20:36

@BrokenRainbow i can’t see why it wouldn’t be enough.. unless there has been any changes to her needs then I would say you’ll be fine and you can just say that there’s been no changes. But as she she has a EHCP that’s updated enough anyway to show the years since her diagnosis. sure it will be a straight forward renewal. All the best 😊

BrokenRainbow · 18/05/2023 04:54

@Nicole12345 Thank you. Not much change aside from her being home schooled now.

Mummytomy2girls · 18/05/2023 08:46

Hi all, thought id join as followed this thread for a while.

Scan date 22/02. Called Monday and still not with a DM. Was told wait time is 14.5 weeks. Daughter currently being tested for Autism and ADHD. Waiting for first app to come through so abit worried she won’t be awarded as all the evidence I really have is a letter from Paediatrician saying she been accepted to be tested, letter from her teacher, doctors notes and what I’ve wrote down. Feel she won’t be awarded

Nicole12345 · 18/05/2023 09:41

@Mummytomy2girls alot of children are only at your daughter stage of investigations and have been awarded I really wouldn’t worry to much on that side. The fact you have professionals backing you and have given you a written letter from her teacher is good and as long as you have proven on the forms that your daughters needs are greater than another child her age with no difficulties I can’t see why she wouldn’t be awarded
