Called up today and the wait gets pushed back further and further has anyone been awarded recently

I'd like to know this too I imagine it's the usual avg 3-5 working days but not sure

I just tried calling (scan date 25/1) on hold for 1hr 10 mins and no answer 😲

My sons decision was made on Good Friday just gone, received the money in my bank today which was quick considering Monday was a bank holiday too but I think it's usually around 4 days

Thanks for this! The case manager rang me yesterday to ask a few bits and said she would make a decision yesterday too so fingers crossed it is good news!

Fingers crossed for you! My sons was decided in a day so really hoping yours is! It was the worst wait and im glad it's over 😅

Are you able to say what number they call from? I’m week 12 today scan date 19/1 so know it will be soon but don’t always answer my phone to unknown numbers so would help if I had a heads up :)

It was an 0800 number! I missed the first one but got a text saying it was them and a time they were ringing back, hope that helps!

scan date was 17th Jan, called last week and was told around 13 weeks, seen ppl on Facebook have been awarded around this date…. The wait is killing me!!

It’s such an exhausting wait! My scan date is 21/01 I don’t know if I should feel hopeful for a 12 week wait or not 🤦🏽‍♀️ I think I might call them next week.

I rang today and it is still with a decision maker, so they usually work over the weekend does anyone know?

@Lodol same here mines been there since Tuesday and yes they have people covering the back log over weekend

Have you received a phone call or anything from them?
some people seem to be receiving a decision quickly

@Lodol no I've had nothing just keep ringing up , I'm hoping it's done over week end as already with dm . How long has your been with dm for?

I’m not sure they just said yesterday was with them so only assuming since yesterday as I rang this morning and said it’s still with them I know sometimes they send a text but I don’t think everyone does

How are people getting through?? My calls are never answered

I got through, mine isn't with DM yet but they said should be 13 weeks so should be within week or two but said it was good I'd called as I have 2 claims in for 2 children and they hadn't been joined to be looked at together so she's done that now and she said that May speed it up - good luck
