Called up today and the wait gets pushed back further and further has anyone been awarded recently

@AnxietyMumma i made the changes on the 15th of march 🙈

@tbxx in your journal did you request for it to be backdated? If so you could always call and just say you've not had any replies when asking for backdating x

yh i called up and i spoke through doing it with the man on the phone and he said just to wait to hear but ive called 3/4 times since the 15th of march now including ringing this morning and all they keep saying is to write another note in my journal nobody is even replying to my journal messages which is frustrating too like literally no update at all x

also with the disability element and carers element are they both backdated or just the child one, its not even about the money like that but if were entitled to it the they should pay it, its taken us 9 years to even get to this point aswell my sons been failed in many ways for his whole life ffs x

@tbxx are you putting it as a payment message? As I was told to select payment then leave a message.

Both are backdated if you ask for them to be backdated. When you've done thar you should be able to ask for cold weather payments to be backdated as well

They had to resend the letters to me on UC as they put Dear Shaun. I'm definitely not a male or called Shaun x

yep was a payment message too i was on the phone to the man and he was guiding me through of what to click on and write ect,
oh thats good to know about the cold weather payments too, ill give them another call tomorrow and see if someone can do something from their end now x

@AnxietyMumma I rang again still with dm 🙈 .. bet they are getting so annoyed with me ringing but it is absolutely ridiculous as yes my carers ect has actually stopped now 😭🤯

@tbxx definitely give them another call. I know they say no time scale but it can't go on indefinitely. I know when it goes to decision maker there's no time scale. But I had the decision and the letter to say how much today about an hour apart x

@Brown2010 it's so stupid that you have to basically stamp your feet so to speak. Its like he who shouts the loudest is heard. Its so unfair on you and your child. A lot of people rely on that money x

@tbxx let us know how you get on. I have seem people waiting months so I feel bad. But in the next breath it benefits my son so I can't feel too bad about that aspect of it x

@tbxx Hey I'm in the same boat I received a letter on my journal a week ago to say they have accepted my request for back payment but still no news and when I will receive it. I reported my change of circumstances on the 10.3

Hi, theyve not even wrote to me or sent a letter, i was so happy when they called me at quarter past 6 tonight but their signal went and they hung up and didnt even try to call me back i quickly wrote on my journal what had happend and where he already was on my account before hanging up i thought he would of seen the message but clearly not, hopefully tomorrow ill get a call back x

@Neikz I don't know when I'll get but I know how much. Maybe give them a call tomorrow as you've been waiting since the 10th

@tbxx I really hope you manage to speak to someone and they sort it for you. My dates are all over the place. Forms dated 08.11.2022 by me
Scanned 20.12.2022 due to postal strikes. They wouldn't backdate to the 8th. But UC at working on 12/10/2022. Nothing but confusion for me. My little ole brain can't cope with that after the amount of forms I've filled in lately

I informed UC about my disabled daughter last week, and requested the disabled child element and carer element, and for it to be backdated, explained I let them know as soon as I new ect, was backdated yesterday, I wrote 4 messages in my journal, which were not responded to either but looks like it is all sorted now.

@Patientlywaitingx2 @tbxx got a letter this morning explaining how much will be paid back but unsure when praying it's before the easter holidays

aw nice, how long roughly did it take from
you contacting them did you recieve the payment x

I'd keep checking your bank, as I had no message on journal or phone call or letter, just payment first x
