Called up today and the wait gets pushed back further and further has anyone been awarded recently

@Brown2010 I rang about 11ish the morning my sons claim ended!!! Hopefully it has been looked at. Finger crossed x

People are roughly waiting 13-14 weeks from scan date,
Mine took 13 weeks 1 day xx

also did they need to contact the school/gp as I was worrying with mine falling over Easter that if they tried they wouldn’t get a response from the school

@Snickerdoodles19 @Boymom10 i was waiting 1 hour and 46 mins and no decision has been made 😭😭😭 can’t actually believe they leave it like this .. now I got to wait all weekend until Monday to call again could actually cry 😭 xx

I can't believe these renewals are taking so long. Surely they are easier to sort than a new claim. They just need to look at new evidence and cross search over the old paperwork!! I'm so sorry guys. DMs do work on weekends, we just can't call them x

Does anyone get LCWRA purely because they struggle to work due to child's needs? I haven't been able to go into work again tonight and I really don't think I can continuing working. It's been playing on my mind for ages. I've always worked but my family has to come first and this just isn't working. If I'm not going to work then I'm being called into the school when I should be asleep. I'm running for about 3-4 hours broken sleep a night with no sleep on a Sunday night til Tuesday might.

I think the criteria for claiming LCWRA is quite strict isn’t it?

Hi anyone who has been awarded DLA has anyone heard anything about the child disability element on UC, a normal payment was made with my normal UC but havent heard anything about the back pay, ive left messages in my journal and called up but no ones readying any messages in my journal and when i call up their not very helpful and keep saying to just leave messages 🤯

im 19/01 so another few weeks to go but good news there entering Jan!

Hiya lady’s, how long after receiving the text from DWP saying they are still dealing with the claim did you get your decision xx

My scan dates the 4th jan for renewal it runs out next tuesday i just phoned them not even been looked at yet they said it probably wont be looked at until the day but because of the easter holidays might be longer 😥

@tbxx hey, UC have backdated mine. I made them aware on 26th March. They've literally just messaged me now

Did you do the change on your child? Not just a note in your journal

@Alex900 those texts/letters are just generic. I've seen people get them 2 weeks before awarded, a month before and also same day

@Brown2010 so sorry you are still waiting. I'd call again today and say you are struggling now as carers etc all stopped due to award stopping

hey, i did all the changes on the same day i got awarded dla wrote in my journal too straight after and i got a normal element payment last week just nothing about the back dated pay x
