I’ve got a spare 40 mins so going to see if I can get through. Probably won’t be able to plus I don’t have the reference number as I’m not at home…

Snickerdoodles19 · 20/02/2023 16:04

@WreckTangled you don’t need ref no

WreckTangled · 20/02/2023 16:23

Ok thanks. I’m not hopeful I’ll get through or get awarded…

Snickerdoodles19 · 20/02/2023 16:29

@WreckTangled fingers crossed for you

WreckTangled · 20/02/2023 16:59

I didn’t get through. It was a long shot. I can’t see me having another chance to call until Friday lunch time

Lisakel · 20/02/2023 19:29

My date 5/12 so 11 weeks today, they seem to be getting longer and longer with the wait times, when I done my eldest it was 8 weeks they advise but they was delayed to 10 weeks these are taking nearly 6months for some :(
I only sent in my lo asd report, paeds letter stating autism, multiple allergies (requires epi pen) and restricted eating Disorder and sleep issues and sensory issues also a letter from his dietician. so not sure if he will even get it, this wait is so stressful, :( fingers crossed for everyone xx

Random payment in the bank today, I guess they’ve awarded. I don’t want to be a pain but is it worth phoning them to ask award details?

Shellbel10 · 21/02/2023 07:58

Congratulations. Can I ask when your scan date was.

Macariosmummy · 21/02/2023 09:10

@Snickerdoodles19 hi I’m sorry I didn’t see you last comment until now, I have got a meeting with Senco and his teacher on Thursday and I will tell them all the things he does at home, I also want to know how an ed pysc and his old teacher pick up on everything he does but this school can’t see it 🤬 I am also going to tell them that I will approach the school board and anyone else I need to get my son the help he needs and deserves xx

Snickerdoodles19 · 21/02/2023 09:17

@Macariosmummy yes I definitely agree with what your doing, you need to go down the more official route now to get the help you need otherwise school will give constant push back

aveline161 · 21/02/2023 09:20

Sent off form about 2 weeks ago and had a missed call from the DWP yesterday about 17.15 but no voicemail, is this normal? What would it be for? How do you all know your ‘scan dates’?

Macariosmummy · 21/02/2023 09:30

@Snickerdoodles19 definitely need to go more official, it’s just so draining 😢 x

On hold now although don’t expect an answer too quickly I know they are so busy. The payment doesn’t quite add up so I can’t make out what rate etc. thank you.

lawraahh32 · 21/02/2023 09:34

I know sometimes there is a £10 bonus too included in the payments from Christmas

Snickerdoodles19 · 21/02/2023 09:43

@Macariosmummy yes it is very draining but keep fighting and pushing for what’s right and in the end it will all come together. Do a bit of reading up about going to the educational department to make an official complaint before your meeting this week and also have a look to see if there is any advice and support for send in your local area

Macariosmummy · 21/02/2023 09:46

@Snickerdoodles19 thank you and I will definitely look to see if I can get any extra support from SEND, when we were told that he could have ASD the school referred us to an organisation that helped family pre and post diagnosis but then we moved and apparently they don’t have anything like that in this area 🤦🏽‍♀️

I got a letter with my scan date in but it took about 6 weeks for that to arrive!! No one called me at any point - I also had a text at one point confirming they had it and asking me not to call!!

lillysmammy · 21/02/2023 10:22

The wait is over for me. My son was awarded yesterday. HRC and LRM for 2 years. New claim, scan date 23rd November! x
