Don’t believe everyone you speak on the phone with they all tell you different personally I think it’s to stop people ringing them to be honest

Thank you I hope so was told yesterday by a women who was a little rude be another week to go to DM think just saying random dates now

I honestly donbt think they know and say what they say to stop you from calling. I was initially told that new claims are taking 15/16 weeks and to call back mid to end of march for an update. Im 13 weeks this week and have been awarded x

That’s kinda what they told me two weeks ago March time but two weeks before that said will get a text in two weeks then went to end of March

I only called to see if the evidence I sent on friday was on the system yet and it wasnt but then the women said it doesnt matter about the new evidence because you were awarded yesterday!

That’s good CAB told me to trace it up as they did the form for my daughter didn’t even know they had sent it bk in till I called dla after Christmas see if anything had been sent

Gave mine in last month, ETA is 22nd may :(

I gave them another call it’s with DM went to them Saturday should hear this week funny when they told me yesterday was still sat waiting to be picked up 🤦‍♀️

I think she said hers was 23/11 I maybe wrong could be someone else who’s said that

I called again this morning still no decision she was very nice on the phone said she was going to email my dm as been with them for two weeks scan date 3/11 16 weeks tomorrow so making start to feel it’s going to be bad news I’ll just be glad when it’s over and I know if I’m going to have to fight on or not I’m really hoping it’s at some point this week now

2 weeks is a long time, did you ask them what the notes say on the system? They could of requested more information from school or GPs. That way you can chase them up. Failing that, they might be off work sick. The cases dont get assigned to another DM unless they are off work for more than 3 weeks xx

If it went on saturday then you might get a decision today, give them a ring tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed x

Ive been following this thread for updates on timescales and the wait is finally over! I've just got off the phone to DLA, my son was awarded this morning! Im so relieved, I could cry! HRC care and LRM.

Congratulations. I know the feeling! I was awarded yesterday same rates as you. Its going to make a huge difference. Your date is similar to mine maybe they are finally catching up with the huge back logs

Its so weird because some people who had scan dates in december have been awarded too...?! Maybe they are working backwards? Or it definitely does go by how busy your area is.
