DLA waiting times part 7

Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

Congrats! Called yesterday, was with DM but no decision (same scan date) so I might have to call again tomorrow 😂 bloody hell!

I have been watching this tread quite a while can I ask is the scan date the same day application was received?

They told me that forms were received on 5/11 and they have a scan date of 09/11

I sent then 24/11

Has anyone heard anything from around the 17th oct I keep trying to ring and getting cut off so frustrating 😀

I finally for through to DLA on the phone, as I haven't heard anything. My son has been awarded the middle rate of DLA which was approved the 16th January. I forgot to ask how long I'll wait for the money to go in, does anyone know how long I be waiting. Thanks.

Scan date 12/10 and I have had a decision. The dms are super lovely on the phone if anyone gets the call.

Just spent an hour on the phone waiting, current award ends 4/2/23 scan date was 11/10 with a decision maker but the lady assured me I would definitely hear before 4/2 so aggravated now

Silent follower here. I finally decided to put a claim in for my 7yo dd after people keep telling me too. I didnt realise how tedious it was going to be. My scan date was 28/11 so got ages to wait as was 7 weeks yesterday. Im gonna have to do this all again for my ds and dont know if I can bare the forms and wait again. Good luck everyone. Lets hopw our babies get what they deserve x

I’ve been on hold an hour and 3/4….the music has actually stopped but the call is still going. 😑

Forgot to mention I thought I would ring to see where my claim is and got the rudest person on the other end of the phone. She wasnt helpful and just said its 14 weeks till it even goes in the pile for dm 😱

I managed to get my lil one to sleep, do school pick up, nip shop on way back and get home before anyone answered. The call when she answered lasted 2mins 🙄. HOpefully u get throught shortly

so it’s done from 12 to 13 and now 14 weeks until it’s looked at absolutely ridiculous now before covid hit it was 6-8 weeks turn around

My scan date was 10.10.22

i get an a4 pad and write everything down about everyday life for my sons, from eating, drinking, dressing all that type of information and then revert back to it all when it’s time for the forms in, the boxes in the form are too small so I send in all the information that I have written plus other documentation, it takes the stress of it all away if you do it bit by bit

I’m on the phone waiting for the phone call I’ll let you know what they say if I get through to them!
