Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

Hey I got my decision 2 days ago my scan date was 27/09 I had ring for it tho so if you haven't heard I'd give them a call x

Does anyone know roughly the time it may take once it's with a decision maker ?

Hello, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to ask about your first award how long it’s been given for? I received a letter today and it says till 2029, should I consider myself lucky or it can be mistake? Usually I seen ppl get awarded for two years

I was awarded for 5 years. It can happen!

Just wanted to update, I had a text this morning, DS got approved, I rang up and they told me what he got awarded and that I get payment next week, 21 weeks worth! So happy as wasn’t even sure DS would get approved

Checked my bank this morning and dla back pay waiting to go in backdated 21 weeks. He only received mrc which I’m surprised about as i expected hrc due to all my evidence but had no letter or text yet so keep checking your banks! My scan date was 30/09

Rang up to check on mandatory reconsideration as it’s been 4 weeks they said it can take between 3-11 weeks and not been given to a decision maker yet

Afternoon. I don't normally comment but thought i would as it may help others. My scan date was 4/10 I've recieved no letter yet but I did have a payment into my bank yesterday. This was for my 13 year old I didn't send much evidence in she has a diagnosis of global speech and communication delay and now they are wanting to access her for autism. Good luck to everyone else waiting and hope this comment helps a little with time frame x

We are going through the MR process, I put in for the MR on the 12th of December, I was told 4 weeks, I got a phone call from DM yesterday and she said I’ll have a letter soon so make sure you stand and stare at your phone all day, everyday 😂🤞🏼

No text or letter yet but back payment went in today . Scan date 30/9.

6/10 here was looked at yesterday. All done till 2024, my daughter is five with no diagnosis yet. Hope that helps. Was on hold for 1hr 7mins!

Hi everyone, when awarded how long had every one had to wait for it to go into bank? Can it go in any day of week or just Tuesday? Thanks x

Hi yes, I was awarded on Sunday. Had a call from DM about my mandatory reconsideration. It was in the bank on Wednesday x

Hi. Been waiting 12weeks today, is it around 14weeks for a decision from scan date?

Anyone heard today? Just phoned after 50 mins I got cut off!!

No still nothing, it ill be 14 weeks Tuesday.

Hi all just thought I would post as I have been a long time lurker on this thread to give who ever needs an update. My scan date was 28th September (14.5weeks wait) and I woke up to a backpayment yesterday in my bank with no text message or correspondence, hopefully this will arrive shortly to clarify rates etc. I'm not sure what date I was awarded on but must of been one day last week. Hopefully this will give some of you a bit of hope as the long waiting is just horrendous!

Also wondereding if anyone was on the old tax credits system and how long the process took once notifying them of DLA and if they backdated it at all?

it shouldn’t take too long at all for tax credits to update, they just have to get confirmation from dwp, I’d say a couple of weeks.

I think they back date from actual date awarded
