DLA waiting times part 7

Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

How long from the decision being made to payment going into bank is it? The lady on the phone said she has to send it off to the payment department so couldn't tell me exact amounts.

I’ve seen on here people say upto 5 days

Still waiting - I posted my latest delay upthread!

I'm sure they do all their payments on set days

Without looking up the letter or working it out on bank statements I want to say it's Tuesdays....

scan date 5/10 , still not with the DM , will be 14 weeks on Wednesday, hopefully won’t be to much longer

@Alaiamummy i rang up to see if they received my forms as I didn’t have any letter or text to say they had and he told me they received on 16-09 which was my scan date

Scan date 3/10 still waiting to hear anything so 14 weeks tomorrow.

I had a text a few weeks ago saying they was still looking at my claim. Would I receive a text message if a decision has been made?

Just been back on the phone to check my scan date and it was 30th October. That’s 15 weeks this Friday. Looks like it’s now with a DM but she couldn’t say how long that would take. Anyone any idea how long that part usually takes?

Hi all, I've received the letter stating we've been awarded but still haven't received payment for the backdate? Should I be concerned? The letter says it should be paid by 10th which is tomorrow but I've never heard of anyone receiving the letter before the payment! And now I'm worried my bank details might be been scanned wrong?😬🥴

Scan date 29/9 phoned this morning. Still with case manager and no more updates on how long it will take. Does anyone know how long it can be with decision maker for? Now on week 15

Hi all, I have additional information to send in but I’m worried they won’t link it too my claim, should I send it recorded incase it doesn’t arrive/gets lost ect

@Mruby Scan date 28/9 still waiting was with the DM last week and the week before so i will ring again the end of this week for another update..... It's a long process this. Good luck!

My scan date was 29/9 and today i received a text to say my son quilifys for dla
Its been just over 14 week wait

Finally got my UC updated woo. So back dated money due in next few days

Yea definitely send it recorded delivery if it’s important documentation

Mines 11/10 so 13 weeks tomorrow still waiting

@Youngatheart91 how long did it take?😂 I've finally recieved a letter today, saying decision has approved backdate under special circumstances. So I suppose I now have to wait for them to work it out. 🤷

Found out via journal today (changed circumstances 3 weeks ago), now saying will be in my bank in the next couple of days

@Youngatheart91 mine too! I only told them about it on Friday wasn't expecting them to do it so fast lol

@Youngatheart91 and@Roxmum14 have you had a letter to say the amounts have been worked out that your getting backdated?

Rang up today to update my phone number. Scan date 24th October. Still not been looked at, was told they are working around 13/14 weeks for claims to be looked at.
