@Jodeeplus4 really helpful thanks. I was going to try and ring up but rather than wait 45 mins on hold thought I’d look on here 1st for any advice. did you get the letter saying sorry we have not dealt with your claim as yet?

Omg, seriously?why did it take so long?? When they acknowledged the MR the text said 4 weeks, 14 is awful!

@FishFingerSandwiches4Tea they told me the same at the time it's treated like another new claim although they backdate u to the original application date I only got awarded last week but back dating me to February that's how long mines went on fs was a nightmare they've so many applications

Keep a check on your bank accounts I’ve had 14 weeks of back payment for my daughter. She’s got mrc im so happy for her. I’ve not had any text which I put down for or letter yet, guessing this must have been done end of last week to be in today. Our scan date was June 24th. @J9723 amazing news!! I’ve got notifications on from my bank app so would come up straight away if any money came in 😂😓 not heard a peep… here’s hoping for good news today or tomoro 🤞

@Noneyerbuisness11234 wow. We did get awarded but felt they hadn't looked at the evidence properly hence the MR. I won't hold my breath for it to be anytime soon then. Glad you got there in the end.

I know a lot of you have great experience with DLA, we are aiming for high rate care, do you feel this is enough evidence? This is so new to me

@kateof2 im not to sure tbh. My son has been on MRC and LRM and he’s the exact same he’s never ever slept he’s medicated at night and refuses and refuses most days to be medicated, he’s got an EHCP coming soon and has ADHD diagnosed since 7 and vocal tics recently he’s now 12. Think just depends. How long have you been waiting on a decision?

I missed the renewal as they said they sent me a letter which I never got. So I’m waiting on a whole new claim l.

@Kage87 i got awarded on Friday. Scan date 23rd and nothing has gone in my bank today. I bank with Barclays too and they are quicker usually

@Lau20x I don't know when ds got awarded. I had no text and didn't tell me anything yesterday when I rang. Fingers crossed you'll get it today tomorrow xxx

@Kage87 I didn’t get a text either. I rang literally 4 o clock on Friday afternoon and was on hold until just before they shut at 5. Got through and the lady just told me that a decision had been made that day and my little girl had been awarded MRC. Fingers crossed. I hate all this waiting xx

OMFG!! so just git off the phone and he's been awarded hrc and lrm for 7 years!! Absolutely over the moon!! X

did you opt for a text and get one? I’ve opted for a text as the ringing every day was killing me! Have you received payment or have they said when you will? My child’s has been with the DM over a week!

@8484859696A @kateof2 my scan date was 23rd June. I've let uc know aswel so hopefully will get a back date from them too. Now need to apply for carers. I can't wait to tell him that he's got more money than mummy now 🤣
