Exactly the same scan date as you, and like you, nada correspondence since the 'it's taking longer than expected' letter. I'm now in the mind set that my daughter won't get awarded. Good luck to all waiting :)

I was the 18th July awarded on Wednesday money due to go in tomorrow, so hold hope x

From what I've seen on other forums there working up to the 26th this week so anyone 24/25 should be toward the back end of this week and 19/23 probably front end of the week 👍

My scan date is 20th July and still. Waiting. Might give them a ring shortly. It’s taking so incredibly long I’m worried it’s not happening 😖

Hi everyone, I called them again today and the man I spoke to told me that they’ve got them and the scan date is the 12th of October. So I’m not sure why the woman last week said that they hadn’t received them but I feel very relieved knowing that they have them. We’ve just got the very long wait to see what decision they’ll make now. Good luck to everyone who’s waiting to find out!

I got impatient and called this afternoon- first try I got cut off, second try I spent nearly an hour on hold just to be told there's no change yet.

Back to the wait until December plan, I think!

scan date 28th july. Can never seem to get through when i call its always an endless wait so i found myself checking here more often . i didnt even have mumsnet until i googled Dla wait times and found these threads in august so thankyouu!! the wait is painful! Good luck all!!

Scan date the 19th July, we have had a payment this morning!! Finally my daughter is getting what she deserves! Xxx

That's brilliant news! Did they send you a text beforehand to say your daughter had been awarded, or was it a pleasant surprise this morning?

I've not herd anything from them, I was down for a text but never got one. I phoned twice last week and got told nothing, so when I woke up to the notification from my bank this morning I will admit I cried! I've had to jump through hoops for my daughter and I finally feel like half the battle is over with! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all xx

I sent off the mental health assessments all the ADHD assessment and the asd referral with supporting evidence from the child psychologist, I also sent the minuets from the taff meetings with the local council, doctors, psychologists and school. I give them the details of the eating disorder she has plus a assessment school have done to prove how much she struggles with her peers and the battles me and school have to go through xx

I don't know my scan date. How long after they receive it do they usually scan it?
I sent our renewal on the 18th July and haven't heard anything yet. Did receive a letter weeks later confirming it was received though.

Has anyone had any positive news this week? I’m on 13 weeks today and honestly this last bit is making me so anxious. I’ll be devastated for my ds if he gets declined

I'm on 14 weeks this week and heard nothing I'm hoping to see some good positive news from people around my scan date :)

The scan date I believe, is the date they say they received it. It will be on the confirmation letter you received a couple of weeks after you sent your paperwork in.

week 16 here, no text or letter but a payment received in my bank this morning. More than I thought so but surprised but also so relieved that this will help my child access what they need. No idea what the breakdown is yet but hoping I’ll get a letter
