Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

OP posts:

12 weeks Thursday coming we have been waiting looks like we still have a way to go but I believe my boy will be turned down 😞 just have no hope in the system. 15 years I’ve been fighting for what he needs.

Buttons87 · 03/10/2022 17:45

My scan date was 28th June. Called this evening and was told that It was awarded. MRC and LRM.. I am so happy for my son. Finally recognised after so many years of fighting for everything.
Good luck everyone x 🥺

Donnagl · 03/10/2022 18:10

Did they say when it was awarded as my scan date was 28th also

Buttons87 · 03/10/2022 18:18

I called last Tuesday and it wasn't even with the DM yet. They said it was awarded on 30th Sept. No text or letter. Waiting for payment to hit this week.

BlueyS3 · 04/10/2022 09:31

How long after posting the forms did everyone receive acknowledgment please? It's been 2.5 weeks and I'm getting twitchy...

JubileeTrifle · 04/10/2022 10:48

I posted mine second week of September so around the same, heard nothing. There has been a postal strike though.

Momma25 · 04/10/2022 10:58

I’m sure I sent mine around a week before I got a letter to say they had received my claim form x I hope u get urs soon

BlueyS3 · 04/10/2022 11:06

Thank you both, useful to have different experiences - I think I will give it another week before I can and chase

Db28 · 04/10/2022 11:35

Mine took around 3 weeks but I did ring them at week 2 to make sure they had received it. Then around 7 weeks after I received a letter to say they are taking longer to deal with claims

Db28 · 04/10/2022 11:37

Hopefully I will hear the decision this week as they are working on claims 28th June to 1st July at the moment. Hope this info helps

Momma25 · 04/10/2022 15:14

I just called them and she said they are now working on the first week of July and mine will take another week or so my sons scan date was 14th July

Mamofasd · 04/10/2022 15:42

Momma25 that's good to know as my scan date is the same

Lianney84 · 04/10/2022 16:27

Hi people claiming is it a new claim or change off circumstances.
As I've just got off the phone to them and my scan date is 23 June for coc and been told they are working may 24th Confused

Hayhoarematthews · 04/10/2022 17:22

My scan date is 25 July so still a while off even though when I rang to report a change they said would get a answer start of October but that isn't going to happen as seems to be taking longer I doubt I will get it for my daughter but was advised by her bladder and bowel nurse

Shannon26 · 04/10/2022 17:36

Does anyone know how long for a decision for carers to be reinstated?

peassandcarrots · 04/10/2022 21:22

I phoned today for an update on my DLA change of circumstances request.

My scan date was 10th July and my letter said to call if I haven't had a decision in 11 weeks time.

I was on hold for 50 minutes before my call was answered.

I was told my claim hasn't been looked at yet and it's now estimated to be 18 weeks wait time which takes me towards the end of November.

Mamofasd · 05/10/2022 11:58

My scan date is 14th July and I've just been told ill have a decision by 18th October, they are looking at everyones claim on week 13. He was really helpful and he's put me down for a text message 🤞🏻
