Feels like something is coming out?

I have no idea how to even describe it lol but I was having pressure and pain last night and the feeling that something is coming out of my vagina? Still feeling it now, especially when on the birthing ball! Like maybe a similar feeling to when you’re about have a big bit of blood come out when you’re on your period? Like something I could take out and it would be a soft ball of something😂 I don’t know😂 Nothing has actually come out yet, but just wondered if anyone has experienced anything like this lol. Never felt that before, but been having the pressure and pain in my lower pelvis, bum, and back pain, for a few days. I’m 37 weeks today. Baby has been engaged since about 34 weeks I think, at least. Thanks ladies!

Good luck!

FATEdestiny · 04/02/2020 21:28

When i was in labour my cervix was very far back and I couldn't reach it myself. So if you can feel something inside, I'd go in to get someone to do an examination.

stophuggingme · 04/02/2020 21:31

Go in now

DecemberSnow · 04/02/2020 21:37

Is this a joke? I hope so

What you have described OP,
Why the hell are you not at the hospital already, stuff what the woman says on the phone....

I hope the baby is ok

user246854 · 04/02/2020 21:40

No you shouldn't, even Ofwarren also said she didn't get pain.

Honestly I would go and get checked, if this is your first baby then you have no idea how you labour... I have had 4 and never had pain until I'm virtually fully dilated and had the baby within minutes.

StrumpersPlunkett · 04/02/2020 21:43

oooh good luck!

avocuddl · 04/02/2020 21:47

Good luck OP!

caffeinefix · 04/02/2020 22:18

I really hope you're in the hospital x

Vagndidit · 04/02/2020 22:33

I would imagine you're holding a brand new baby by now, Op. If not yet--good luck!

latheritup · 05/02/2020 01:14

Hope you're getting on ok OP!

Zippetydoodahzippetyay · 05/02/2020 01:25

Hi OP. With my second child, this is exactly how my labour felt. At the time I didn't think it was labour because it was so different to my first. For the second, I just felt heaviness, pressure and discomfort when sitting. By the time I got to hospital I was 9 cm dilated. If you are not sure, it wouldn't hurt to get checked out.

Good luck.

Jojo2wyatr · 05/02/2020 01:57

@yelyahyoung, you're welcome! Do we have a little baby yet? Please have someone at the hospital post it on this thread with photos and birth weight, length and time. (Just kidding with that last bit... I would imagine MN is the very last thing on anyone's mind)

PointlessUsername · 05/02/2020 02:10

Bear any news op x

You are going to do just fine @yelyahyoung!
I was a bit of a lunatic with my first, DD1....I was only EIGHT days overdue, in hard labour, and didn't even know it... (yes, I was having lots of pain, but of course there was no way I was in labor...I was only 8 days overdue after all, but in the birthing classes they told us our water would break and THEN labor would begin) Finally the pain got so intense that my husband popped me in the car and off we zoomed to hospital. 4 hours later, DD arrived...If I'd had no pain, I may have never gone to hospital and DD would have been born in our bathroom. You seem like a very capable, calm person and you can always dial up 999 if baby does decide to show up before you leave for hospital. Good luck!SmileFlowers
Oh, and DD WAS actually overdue...the placenta had started to calcify, she had not speck of vernix caseosa and her skin had started to shrivel up like she'd been in the bath for too long....perfectly healthy, thank goodness.

ofwarren · 05/02/2020 13:07

Any news OP? Keep thinking of you and hoping you are ok Flowers

amazedmummy · 05/02/2020 13:10

Hope everything's ok OP. My mum has a gynaecological issue that meant she couldn't feel contractions. She only had any inclination that I was on my way because her waters broke. She nearly delivered me in the waiting room because the midwives were sure she wasn't in labour and must have wet herself.

MadeForThis · 05/02/2020 13:46

Hope all is ok

ofwarren · 05/02/2020 20:31

How did you get on @yelyahyoung ? Did you go to get seen?

aNonnyMouse1511 · 05/02/2020 20:35

7dayslater · 05/02/2020 20:39

Hope all is ok!

caffeinefix · 05/02/2020 20:40

OP are you ok?

Slippermam · 05/02/2020 20:43

I’ve never heard of this before, hospital now!

Clangus00 · 05/02/2020 20:50

@Dobby OP posted yesterday, so hopefully she did go.
