I'm 40+2 with DC2. DM is staying to look after DD1 when the time comes.
I'm fed up, we're just milling around waiting! Bouncing on the birth ball, eatinv pineapple and planning a spicy curry for tonight.

I'm tired and grumpy. Anyone care to join me? I'm clearly a delight to be around

Not much to report here. Felt quite crampy yesterday after sweep and all evening but it's lessened today, though not gone completely. This baby is definitely too chilled out to want to make a move! Midwife again tomorrow, but that will probably be the last one before my induction next Monday. Done loads of walking today so hopefully that will help.

Serenity, it will just be us two on here I think! I'm poking my boys in the hope they jump and kick things off. I just want to walk properly and wake up without my hands seized up again.

Just had more cramps, a bit stronger today but they've gone now.

Going to repack my hospital bag out of boredom.

Currently in hospital and being induced via drip! Could be a long wait though.....keep your fingers crossed for me!

Morning all! Hoping induction goes well, hormonal.

Usual story here, had fairly strong cramps yesterday evening, then nothing by the morning Just trying to sort out some of DD's clothes in the hope that nesting a bit might trigger something. Seeing midwife again this afternoon.

SR, i had a lot of that too, cramps in the evening that disappear by the morning. It's all positive though, you are likely to be slowly dilating! Hang in there x

Still no baby here either. 40 + 9 now. Had sweep yesterday, spotting but nothing more. I'm frustrated and so stressed with other life stuff I'm finding it hard to actually look forward to having this baby. It's a worrying thought actually, just hope this negativity melts away when I see her face. Anyone else getting very painful movements now? She's so huge that I literally feel possessed and every kick or elbow nudge has me squirming ...

Had another sweep today and been quite crampy since again. She wanted to try again on Friday but they don't have any appointments until after my induction next Monday. Tbh, not that disappointed - it's a pain to get to and from the hospital, especially with DD and after 3 sweeps already, not sure another one will suddenly work its magic! Resigned to just waiting it out now - they said things look favourable so still have a good chance of going naturally.

broken 40+9, wow! No wonder you're uncomfortable What's the plan for the next few days? Are you going to be induced?

Yeah I'm going in on Saturday for the dreaded induction! Trying to keep my mind occupied until then is an art form! I hope your 3rd sweep

Hey!! Not overdue either but been watching this thread as I'm 38 weeks and so ready to have this baby so finding it really interesting!! So uncomfortable and been told I'm having a big baby so hopefully they will come soon! Due on 17th December and really don't want to end up having them on Christmas Day!! Fingers crossed for red wine and pate I've been dreaming about!

So far I've had lots of braxton hicks some really intense ones, period like cramps most days or at night and they never turn into anything after a couple of hours and have started to get acne and migraines in the last week! Not sure if they're symptoms:-s

So far I've tried raspberry leaf tea, tens machine every night, bouncing on the ball, long dog walks, sex, hot curry (ouch) and Clare sage in the bath!! I know I know they'll come when they are ready but not harm in given them a little push in the right direction!! Lol

I tried to swap places with someone in the queue in asda yesterday and we got wedged between the tills. Yes, I am THAT big. A week until induction.

I hear you about feeling everything. I've got two and when they have a fight my poor kidneys seek asylum in my ribcage.

Oh strawberry! I feel bad complaining about my singleton! My mother often tells me about how uncomfortable it was carrying me (I am a twin ) I was the one seeking asylum in her poor ribcage! Lol

Still got my fingers crossed for the rest of you that are still hanging in there, won't be long now I'm sure. For those that are sitting there with few or no symptoms, I had none before Isabella arrived so don't lose hope x

I went 17 days over due!
Induced on my 14 days and then spent three days in labour I also had 4 sweeps and was wheelchair bound come the end as I suffered with really bad SPD!

Congrats hormonal No signs that my baby is on the move, I'm 39+2 now, can't get my head around chazzzyxo going 17 days over I would be tearing my hair out. I am so ready for this baby to come out.

40+2 today. Labour started last Sunday - strong contractions for 6 hours and then stopped. This has been happening on and off since then. I am slowly, but very surely, losing my mind. I have tried everything - sex, curry, bouncing on ball etc. Apparently raspberry leaf tea only works of you've been taking it for a few weeks. Like many of you I don't want to be induced. Come on baby!!! This is my second as well. My first came very easily at 39+4.

Congratulations to those of you whose babies have arrived. It must be a huge relief to have it over with.

I have run out of tummy cream. I know just how to make the little sods darlings arrive - go buy some more.

congratulations hormonal and all the others who have had their babies. Only 38+3 here, and no where near giving birth. Baby dropped into the pelvis last week, was so happy, but it (I hate saying it but yellow bump so can't say he/she) seems to have popped back out yet as bump is high again and the heartburn has returned. even the bh's have eased of a bit. Not enjoying this waiting game. Keep seeing loads of friends on Facebook complaining about having December birthdays and how they get swollowed up by Christmas, talk about giving me the guilt trip!

Yeah Jam. Mine have been low for so long but I winked this morning with them back up and my lower abdomen almost felt pre-pregnancy flat. No idea what that was about!

So fed up. My tongue is sore from pineapple and my ball is going flat.

Woke! Not winked...

Anyone else going to the loo literally every 10 mins for 1s or 2s?!!

strawberry my ball definitely needs pumping too and I don't think I can stomach much more pineapple!
