I'm 40+2 with DC2. DM is staying to look after DD1 when the time comes.
I'm fed up, we're just milling around waiting! Bouncing on the birth ball, eatinv pineapple and planning a spicy curry for tonight.

I'm tired and grumpy. Anyone care to join me? I'm clearly a delight to be around Wink

Congratulations!

strawberryandaflake · 05/12/2015 13:58

Fantastic! So happy for you X

I can't get my boys out of bed. Woke at 2am with strong cramps but they weren't coming in waves so eventually got back to sleep. Woke this morning at 10:30 and nothing again. Argh! I have the laziest babies ever.

Persephone76 · 05/12/2015 15:56

Can I join? I'm 39 weeks today. Last baby was induced at 2 weeks over, so I can't imagine going into labour spontaneously or any time before 41 weeks at the earliest! But I've been mainlining raspberry leaf capsules and hoping for the best. Shattered as hubby works 6 days a week and toddler has just decided to drop their afternoon nap...oh joy!

Ficidy · 06/12/2015 20:43

My laid-back little guy arrived on Friday morning at 4.23am. Extremely quick labour in the end. Totally in love with my boy! Two little boys now and our family is complete.

SerenityReynolds · 06/12/2015 21:12

Congratulations ficidy! 2 girls here and we are also done now!

Any other news ladies??

strawberryandaflake · 06/12/2015 22:38

I'm still the same after the pink incident. Had a few cramps today but that's it. Looks like induction on Thursday it is.

Lillylou1991 · 06/12/2015 23:01

Same here strawberry minus no induction. COME ON BABES WE WANNA MEET YOU!!!

azulpear · 07/12/2015 06:01

Congratulations Serenity and Ficidy!

After a night of twinges when I thought it was all going to start, last night was totally quiet. I am mentally preparing myself for an induction (booked for Saturday). Hopefully something happens in the meantime. Back on the ball...

jamtartandcustard · 07/12/2015 08:13

Congratulations ficidy.
Nothing to report here. Had some really strong Braxton hicks over the weekend. Usually from 8-10pm in the evening. Got my hopes up on Saturday that things were starting but it all died off over night. Same again last night but without getting hopes up.
Then this morning(TMI WARNING( I had the teeniest bit of jelly like cm. Clear and probably about the size of a 1p piece. Stupidly getting excited that it might be a little bit of a show but I think I'm clutching at straws there. Think I may treat the dog to a long walk this morning Wink

strawberryandaflake · 07/12/2015 14:17

Ach, so far in the past week I have had my show, been bedridden with backache and carpal tunnel, cramps, really strong BHs, the poops, nausea and no sign of babies. My parents are emigrating on Saturday, I think my bubs are avoiding meeting them.

I've done pineapple, the ball, chilli, dtd and acupressure. What's left?

Twins are supposed to be early and tiny. Mine are huge and late. Where did I sign up for this

Plus I am constantly grumpy.

Lillylou1991 · 07/12/2015 15:04

Awh strawberry keeping my hopes up for you. Youll meet your bubs very soon and itll all be worth it! Just keep up that ball work and pineapple!

I had what i can only assume to be my show today and been having on off cramps since. Standing up is hard which is weird, Its like hes pushing right down on my hooha Xmas Blush. Totally getting my hopes up but im too uncomfortable to go for a walk and i dont have a ball to bounce on so. I know a show doesnt really mean anything but fingers crossed!

strawberryandaflake · 07/12/2015 15:06

I've been like that for days. I feel like one is about to fall out. I'd love to be able to walk.

Lillylou1991 · 07/12/2015 15:27

I cant begin to think about how you feel! I feel guilty complaining when ive only got 1 in there! Stay strong Cake Flowers

strawberryandaflake · 07/12/2015 18:52

Trying! X

strawberryandaflake · 08/12/2015 18:22

How are we all doing? Mine have 38 hours until induction and counting....

jamtartandcustard · 08/12/2015 19:22

Ooo come an strawberrys boys! Get a wiggle on.
I'd say I'm in pre-labour. Horrendous heartburn, nausea and the shits this morning. Lower back ache and Braxton hicks all afternoon. But nothing getting worse. Pretty sure a hot bath and early night will put a stop to it all but that's probably a good thing. I'm not ready yet and I have my 2 ds's nativity plays on Thursday and Friday and really don't want to miss them.
Either way, I have a midwife appointment in the morning so she can give me more of an idea of what's going on

strawberryandaflake · 08/12/2015 19:44

Same minus the heartburn. How long is pre labour supposed to last?

Sleepybunny · 08/12/2015 20:32

Come on Strawberry! Not long now

Loft653 · 08/12/2015 21:39

Still routing for your little ones strawberry, come on - time to get a move on!
Congrats to all the others who have had their little ones x

SerenityReynolds · 09/12/2015 03:41

Keeping my fingers crossed for you strawberry!

Hope things are progressing jam. Walking seemed to help things along for me with DC2.

jamtartandcustard · 09/12/2015 06:46

No it all died off as I expected it too. Well still having the odd Braxton hicks but it's more like once every half hour as opposed to every 5 minutes like it once over dinner last night. No lower back pain but thankfully no more heartburn! Thank gosh as that was the worst!
Was hungry so had brekkie and immediately brought it back up so I suspect my body is trying to keep clear in preparation. Just a waiting game

strawberryandaflake · 10/12/2015 01:29

Just a few more hours...

I can do this...

Sleepybunny · 10/12/2015 03:11

I'm here for hand crushing holding Strawberry!

Pre labour can take ages, but it is all progress. My prelabour got me a whole 2cm before the real contractions kicked off. And because you are so fed up, the pain/discomfort is actually really therapeutic!!

Sleepybunny · 10/12/2015 03:12

You can do it! Come on little lads!
