Overdue? Grab a seat on the birth ball and a cookie

I'm 40+2 with DC2. DM is staying to look after DD1 when the time comes.
I'm fed up, we're just milling around waiting! Bouncing on the birth ball, eatinv pineapple and planning a spicy curry for tonight.

I'm tired and grumpy. Anyone care to join me? I'm clearly a delight to be around

Charming May I ask what the contractions feel/felt like? Are they painful?!

I saw the midwife today (I'm 41 wks) and since I had protein in my urine and high blood pressure they kept me in and monitored me for a while. All seems ok, but upon attempting a sweep, apparently my cervix is only partially open so they couldn't give me one (I'm almost grateful as what they did do has left me bruised and sore enough!)

Does anyone have any experience of not being able to have a "full" sweep but labour starting off spontaneously anyway?!

Have had a very strong curry tonight and aiming for an early night…

I went into labour without a sweep with dc2 - waters went first, then contractions followed after a few hours.

My contractions yesterday were like Braxton Hicks but more painful. Today they are stronger, last a bit longer and hurt more and there's much more of a feeling if downward pressure.

Hello, can I join? I'm 40+4 with DC 2. Getting a little frustrated though not many symptoms. I went 40+17 with DD so trying not to get too annoyed!

I'm 37+5 and I know I'm not overdue but I am SO at that point where I want something , anything to happen!!!

Climbing the walls, down in the dumps, uncomfortable and hate TV....!
