...but that last BH made my eyes water. And the previous two weren't very comfortable, either.

Um. I have a surveyor coming round to the house on Monday and I also booked in to get my roots done for Monday afternoon.

We are trying to get DS through bath time and bedtime at the mo'.

And DH wants to go and get a takeaway after DS is in bed.

The house is in a state as well.

Look, this isn't a veery convenient time.

Okay, if things are kicking off, which I hope they aren't and bet they aren't now I've started a thread about it, how can I slow it down/stop it for a couple of days?

Don't worry, opener, I've reported her too.

openerofjars · 01/06/2012 01:35

Btw, does cocodamol make everything a bit spacey? Or is that the labour itself doing that? It can't be the lemon squash.

Okay, Push, will call you in the morning (later in the morning) with a bit of luck. All well here, love to the family x.

God, I wish the start of my last labour had been this chilled out. This is ace. If slightly painful.

Annie, I know exactly what you mean. Now hand over the chocolate.

My mum is bringing crappy white bread (against all her healthy eating instincts) so I can have crappy white bread butty toast and insanely strong sugary tea la NHS hospital birth afterwards! Grin

Typing of which, we went to see a house on B T*** Rd the other week and they had the same kind of drain... Lucky escape.

Okay, sorry, where were we? Oh yes. Timing contractions.

Oh my goodness! In my mournful sulk around MN as had argument with DH check of MN, I find you. Having a baby.

I started at the top quite calmly, now I'm all giddy with excitement!!
I have to say although I generally love your posts this is by far my favourite!
Right...well, snacks, socks, DS, birthing pool, DH. Seems you're pretty much sorted! Co-codamol and MW done, now we wait (we..lol, I'm doing so much)
Lots of soothing noises and back rubs to you! Even though I was much more of an ipod and 'don't f'kin touch me' kinda gal! Come on baby jars, none of us can wait to meet you!!
Lots and lots of earth mothery vibes being sent your way xx

Jacksmania · 01/06/2012 01:55

Wow, your live birth thread has been invaded by the troll. Faaaaaaaaaaantastic...

I'm on my way out of the office (it's nearly 6 pm here), but will keep checking in. Come on Baby Bumpy!

openerofjars · 01/06/2012 01:59

I know, study leave or what? Sad

Now 30s, 4 mins apart. Mum on her way, cocodamol kicking in. How long d'you reckon I should leave DH? Last labour was 15.5 hours, so not v worried re speedy birth.
