The above is just what I've gathered from the available information. It's only my thoughts on how the companies run. I'd be open to it being challenged if anyone from the company would like to clearly explain how this works.

I think gracelands on thread 1 is Martin. Again, a typo I’ve noticed that both gracelands and Martin make. Can’t remember if I reported it or not at the time. Hopefully ‘michaelMumsnet will look into it.

Gosh swan I've just been reading back over Gracelands posts. I had forgotten about them! I think you could well be right.

I get very prickly every time posters on this thread are referred to as 'you mums'. Or YOU MUM'S to be precise. It's so patronising.

Also, just looking back, this has been going on for over 4 months?!

I can’t believe it’s been so long. Never in a million years expected it would end up in a bbc investigation. Noticed one of my posts from thread one was deleted for breaching guidelines. No idea why though, I always assumed MN would tell you.

Bloody hell that script! I was on the previous thread to share my suspicions that this is all a high ticket coaching scam with NLP in the script and it seems I was right. It is SO inappropriate!

Oh my. Just listened to the program. Hats off to all those who contributed. It's made me feel quite sad / angry.

MNHQ explained that because I was new to MN (I have no other posting history) and that my posts appeared to be specific to a company and were negative, that my posts were to be removed/account disabled. I replied and my account has now been enabled - thank you MNHQ.

I have been asked not to re-post the same post on other threads - it is spamming and can be annoying, generating reports. I have asked for permission to post on one other thread - the new one that links this thread with Peaky Parents. The sales doc I posted was sent from Peaky Parents, is therefore factual , and is not confidential. Hopefully MNHQ will agree to this. I do think it is important that potential customers of Peaky Parents see this document.

Really important for people to be fully informed before they expose their children to goodness knows what and part with lots of money. Hopefully you can post it on the other thread too.

The interview with Sam and Martin is shocking. I wonder why she was saying that the program hadn't contacted / talked to them.

I listened to some of the programme. Will do so again when I can. Peaky Parents distancing themselves from HTA and hard sell techniques ( although Martin didn’t sound that convinced) . Pretty sure I read on their website previously their profuse thanks to Lucy and her partner from HTA on their website not long ago, along with Martin’s gushing endorsement on HTA website in May this year. It’s not rocket science to realise that hard selling techniques are fundamentally wrong when marketing a service in the mental health field. It appears that Sam and Martin now realise this but looks like it is only the scrutiny of investigation that has brought about this realisation.

I don't believe that they have realised it's wrong. They have only grudgingly made changes to their site based on some of the concerns raised on these threads. They're still using the same marketing techniques. They are still sharing children's personal details on their website and trustpilot reviews. They're still using manipulative sales techniques. And whenever they are challenged they become aggressive and start shouting about how they're justified in charging £5500 when the actual price of the service is only one very small aspect of what they are being challenged about.

I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but after a few run-ins with them (posing as other people) on this thread, I've had enough.

Oh poor Carole, she was incredibly hurt. Perhaps the parent could sense the sales tactics being used on them and that's why they put down the phone, rather than the actual price?
