As suggested in AIBU I've started a thread here. Anyone who wants to join for support that would be great! Going to weigh myself tomorrow morning. I've planned my food for tomorrow. Aiming for 1600 calories a day, 10000 steps as a minimum. 3 gym workouts a week.

At my heaviest now even though my "baby" is 7 🤣

I'll weigh in tomorrow too, hoping this heatwave will put me off eating so much!

I’m in! Lost 20lb in four months, need to get a bit more serious about it.

Actually I think I only need to lose three stone but I’ll join anyway.

I'm in. I've lost just over this (19.5kg) in the last 9 months, but I could do with the next 19kg being much faster with less faffing about!

I have been doing a combination of LCHF (Mumsnet Bootcamp), Louise Parker Method and am currently on VF800 (OMAD), which is going relatively well. I drink A LOT of water.

People are starting to notice and compliment me on my weight loss now, which is lovely but I am only nearly a third of my way through my journey and this is where I get bored and complacent so I need to keep my head down and stay focused!

I'll post my starting weight in the morning, can't sleep!

I've a holiday next May that I will be slim for, really fed up of being so heavy, unfit and unhealthy

I would like to another lose 2 stone. I lost 12 pounds already a month or two ago but I seem to have a 3-4 week attention span and I just lost with mojo and then put on 4 pounds worth of chocolates and biscuits! Who does that with only 2 pounds to go till the stone milestone. Doh. But after a couple of weeks of binging I do want to get back on it.

I try and do a bit of fasting and then around 1500 cals and trying to do 10000 steps a day but not really doing any further exercise apart from that

I've been faffing around for a year now and I need to get serious.
I did WW very successfully in 2017 but I gained the weight back and then some when I had DD and I couldn't get back into it.

I'm opting for keto this time.

People popped round today with nibbles chocolates and crisps etc. as soon as I loose track of what I can log on FP I completely lose control and just think no point! Good news is it has shown me that I need to be consistent with logging my foods regardless of if that's a good or bad food but bad news is I'm writing off today and starting again tomorrow!

This is me!
I have to avoid all social interaction for a week or until I'm in the zone. A few handfuls of crisps etc and I just end up binging 🙈

How has everyone done today?

I've had 1600 calories, 2.5 litres of water, steps only around 5000. Id have preferred more ateps and more water but as i was in the car for 5 hours I didnt want to drink too much. I'd planned to get up early and go for a walk before we set off but that didn't happen! I'm pleased that I stuck to the calories, DH asked me if I wanted a slice of cake before and I resisted!!

I'm in. Today's food intake has been half a large bar of Cadburys. 2 soleros. 1 magnum. 4 packets of crisps. 1 slice of ham. 2 slices of cheese. Coffee. Diet coke. So not great.

I need a kick up the bum.

I’ve lost half a stone recently (still some to go) but the biggest thing for me has been removing bread and sugar and increasing protein. NOT snacking on carbs. So I boil a whole pack of eggs and put them in the fridge (last a week if unpeeled) and have an egg if I’m hungry. So I have to ban bread and sugar as I’m not good at just cutting them down but other carbs I just try and limit. Greek yoghurt instead of cereal for breakfast. Etc.

im not hungry, not calorie counting and weight has come off 1lb a week so very doable especially as there is no effort or hunger to deal with. I think I’m eating more calories than before but they’re much better calories.

Can I join too? I have exactly 3 stone to lose to hit my goal weight. Nothing fits me or looks nice any more and I am hot, sweaty and miserable in this heat. The final straw is realising that I can’t wear skirts and dresses as my thighs rub together ☹️

I weighed in today and am starting properly tomorrow. 10,000 steps a day. 2 litres of water. 2 meals a day. Half of plate to be veg and cut down carbs (not gonna count calories). Have also just joined the Sweat app and am doing a beginners programme there.
