Thought they must be close... 30th Dec!

Up and feeding here. I give up trying to spot any pattern. Now brace myself for long night. She probably won't settle in cot now & co-sleeping is far from our saviour! She still wakes loads & I don't sleep!!

larlemucker · 06/05/2013 23:54

Up for first feed. Latch on left boon really sore but can't work out why Hmm

So tired Hmm

larlemucker · 06/05/2013 23:55

Boob not boon!!

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 03:43

Quiet night on here again. We're up for third feed, been up every hour again Hmm

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 05:05

And again ShockHmm

lazzaroo · 07/05/2013 05:23

Sorry you've had another rough night larle hope you're snoozing again now.

After first feed little one stayed in cot till 1am. Then I bought her in with me. She fed then and again at 3ish I think. She's just woken up but not interested in feeding so that's probably us up for the day! She's currently led on my bed, nappy off & getting rid of all her wind! Nice way to start the day Smile

abi2790 · 07/05/2013 05:46

Sorry you've had another bad night larle. Big hugs!

Ds has slept through again. I hope this is a permanent thing! He's getting weighed today. I think he might be getting ready for solids but he's only 22 weeks so I want to try and push him a little longer because he can't sit unaided yet and I want to do a mizture of blw and purees.

lazzaroo · 07/05/2013 05:58

abi you lucky thing! Did you do anything to get him sleeping through or did it just happen? Does he self-settle at night?

Emilythornesbff · 07/05/2013 06:09

Bum
Somehow last night's posts have been erased Sad
Anyway. Thinking of you all. Been up a couple of times.
Wishing you better (or even better) nights tonight.
Em

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 06:16

We've been up every sodding hour, I'm exhausted and had enoughConfused. How can he be so hungry?

My left nipple is killing when he feeds and I don't know why.

Oh god, I actually hate him right now Shock. I'm a terrible person Hmm

MrsNPattz · 07/05/2013 07:31

Hugs Larle!

We had our usual night - co slept again, fed a few times. I'm wondering if he's teething again, he's very whingey.

Come to bed to catch up on sleep, baby larle has other ideas Hmm

TeaandHobnobs · 07/05/2013 14:56

larle I often feel like that when we've had a rough night or challenging day (or both). After last night (another disaster with neighbours banging on the wall by midnight and a baby who would just not go the f* to sleep no matter what I tried - teething gel, calpol, feeding, cuddling, rocking, shushing), where what minimal sleep I got was full of nightmares, I was actually pleased to abandon drop him off at nursery this morning and have a break at work. Even though he dissolved into tears when I handed him over. God I feel like a cruel mother.

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 15:11

10 fucking minutes and he is awake chatting. Then done a poo so now even more wide awake after a full clothing and nappy change, he even had poo up his arm Shock

I need some help

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 15:19

And now he has been sick on our bed

lazzaroo · 07/05/2013 16:18

Oh larle I don't know what to suggest. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture & I had a terrible time with my first. She was useless napper & woke lots at night. What are your day time naps like generally? I am determined this time to avoid over-tiredness, I make sure DD is not awake for longer than 2 hours. It's often nearer 1.5 hours. I also can't often feed to sleep like so many recommend, as she'll just wake after 10 mins with wind! I also use White noise with her at naps. And to help her settle at night.

Sorry if this is all stuff you've heard before & already tried.

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 19:27

At the minute I'm lucky if he sleeps for longer than half an hour during the day.
On bedtime feed now.

My dad and his gf have offered to have him for a couple of hours tomorrow. My dad has Parkinson's so would struggle to look after him in his own. I know it sounds silly but I feel bad leaving him with dads gf. My mum passed away 5 years ago, dad had an affair with the woman he now lives with. It was awful, broke my mums heart. I feel like my mum would be really angry with me for letting dads gf look after him. I don't know what to do

MrsNPattz · 07/05/2013 19:42

I really feel for you Larle. I think your mum would want you and your little one to be happy and healthy, and I think getting a break tomorrow is just what you need!

I spend ages expressing 6oz this morning, only to spill it AngrySad

I lost 1.5lb at WW, I've lost 25lb now. I'm up to 6 extra maintenance points and that's not working so adding on another 2 this week!

Well done MrsN on the weight loss.

I've done exactly the same with expressed milk, such a bugger.

SoYo · 07/05/2013 20:42

Larle I have everything crossed that you (and us) get more sleep tonight. X

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 21:36

We've been in bed 5 mins and he is awake and crying, sounds like he is in pain so maybe teething Hmm

Emilythornesbff · 07/05/2013 22:09

Could be teething larle. Could be tiredness. Could be a little cold and the sore throat is bothering him (I'll stop listing unhelpful possibilities now).
Sorry I can't help. Thinking of you this evening.
I don't know when growth spurts a either. They just keep turning up.

Emilythornesbff · 07/05/2013 22:11

Have a look at his gums. If it's teething g that's bothering him they'll be red and swollen (usually starts with the bottom incisors.)

Anypants · 07/05/2013 22:30

So sorry larle - really sympathise but can't offer any pearls of wisdom as i'm newer at this than you. Sad
I've just had a two hour screaming fit from DD - she was fine earlier and I put her down for a nap at 6 but woke her at 7 for bath and bedtime feed only to have her start screaming the minute I went near her moses basket. Arms and legs flailing, I had to literally swaddle her and hold on tight so she couldn't kick around and she finally went off about 9.30. I should have left her to wake up naturally - I know this for tomorrow Blush I hope I haven't p'd her off so she gives me a rough night...

larlemucker · 07/05/2013 23:11

I think he has some sort of sixth sense, he knows that I'm just falling/fallen asleep so it's time to start wailing Hmm
