Up again! Really struggled tonight, every waking I've been really sleepy and could hardly open my eyes Hmm

So who is going to start the new thread???

mrsn you definitely beat us on Saturday night!
larle if cosleeping gets you some sleep I say go for it! Thhe advantages far outweigh those of not, in my opinion - lack of sleep is so dangerous and relationship-attacking... I love the nights when BG stays in his cot, but I love sleep too!
Last night was much better. A couple of quick resettles needed at the beginning of the night, a quick feed at one, then in with me at 4 for one more hour. 5 o'clock awakening! It's a lie in...

Only been down 1hr & we're up again. Sad I'm so tired.

Think we're about to have the same Larle. We've never co-slept before 3am but if she won't go down another way what's the alternative?

Oh god, DS woke me up an hour after going to sleep. Must have been in a really deep sleep as could hardly open eyes. Feed and put in cot, bed, lights out. 2 mins and crying again Hmm having to slap myself in face to wake up so DH goes to change DSs nappy. Massive screaming fit, pees everywhere Hmm

Soooo tired. Trying bot to co-sleep too early but what's the alternative??

Good grief soyo - our lives really do happen to be the same. I too had a massive go at DH and cried at him and told him it was all a bit too much for me and managed to get him to have a go at bottle feeding DD (epic fail but I feel we're getting closer), then we all went to the pub and then he cooked dinner. And, relax.
Did attempt having DD in her room last night but she woke after 3 hours (just as Eurovision ended) and I put her back in her moses with us for the rest of the night. Will save that fight for after we've conquered the bottle Envy

Glad you're feeling a bit better lazza. Just keep expressing Smile.

Ds won't sleep on his back tonight and keeps turning on his side and putting his legs through the bars of his cot. Now he's awake because he had his face pushed against the bars and I had to move him.

Hope everyone has a good night's sleep Smile.

Evening ladies! Whingey DD is trying desperately not to fall asleep while I'm trying to convince her otherwise!

Crappy day today, got nothing done, felt zombie like, still full of cold & had a massive mardy at DH about how crap he is when he isn't at all, he just doesn't do things as thoroughly as I do.

Last nights get ups were like wading through treacle, don't know why they were so difficult but wasn't loving it. I wonder if its because I was in a deeper sleep with DD not being in our room next to me? Anyone else had that?

Just had quick squeeze & expressed nearly 100mls so that's made me feel a bit more comfortable. Now I should be going to bed & not getting sucked into looking at all the outfits on the Soap Awards!

Thanks, they are both sleeping now & if I stay on the sofa much longer I think I will be too! I don't have a breast pump but will try to express a bit more tonight then I can use it tomorrow for her rice & cup practice! I think she fed from that side last night while sleepy so will have to make sure I try that tonight.

Hope you get some good sleep tonight!

lazza have you tried hand expressing in the shower or while DD is feeding on the other side?

Baby larle has had some more baby rice today, loved it and was banging the high chair tray for more!!

I am so tired! Can't wait for both to be in bed but am dreading a repeat of last night (but will be on my own). Dd1 has only eaten 2 biscuits all day so she's clearly still poorly.

Am also pretty sure dd2 has some serious teeth action going on. She will not feed from my left side. Been like it for a little whle & am worrying about supply now, plus I feel really full & hot on that side. Had mastitis once already & really don't want it again. Am Hand expressing as much as poss but as I have oversupply, don't really scratch the surface. Anyone else experienced this?

Good luck for peaceful nights all round.

Sorry I didn't post last night. My eyes were too stingy! We had to co-sleep this morning as we were both shattered and Ds wouldn't go back to sleep. I always wake up stiff as a rock after co-sleeping!

Ds is going to have some toast this morning when he eventually decides to have a milk feed.

This time next week we will be moving house. I'm so excited Grin. I'm dreading how it's going to affect Ds though!

Morning! Didn't get chance to post last night. Too busy swapping beds, clearing up sick, changing bedding, feeding etc etc! Wouldn't have been too bad a night by our standards but dd1 started being sick at about 10pm and didn't stop till about 2am! I'm shattered & DH has just left for work, back Wed.

Surely it can't ever get any worse than this?! At least it's nice & sunny Smile

Hope everyone had a good night?
Just up now after having DD back in our room for the rest of the night. Only heard her stirring about half hour ago so hope DH got some sleep. I know I didn't get enough - didn't get to bed until 1am, after late feed and Eurovision etc. and he didn't come to bed at the same time so he'll prob complain. Tsk.
I hope the radio silence means you're all sleeping soundly! Brew

Evening all - just on a late feed here after DD had a good first attempt in her cot in her room. It seems that lack of sleep is very much to blame for the cr*p attitude as DH says he can't sleep through her weird noises all night. So, if I get her to spend a night away from us then I may get my husband back!

Sleepy dust to all Smile

No sign of MiniYo wanting to sleep tonight yet. I'm up feeding her in the semi-darkness in her nursery but she keeps pulling off, shouting & looking at me as if to say 'you're wasting your time mummy, I'm going to scream for hours yet!'

DH decided he wanted us to take her swimming today which was a lovely bit of amily time, I wonder if he's realising he needed to pull his finger out a bit with the parenting?

Fingers crossed for good nights all round.
