That's great news mrsn you'll be really good.

larlei know what you mean about groups. Older kids trampling their grubby shoes all over the baby mats. It's stressful.

Hope you all have a good night.

MrsNPattz · 29/04/2013 20:27

Thanks guys! The training is with NCT Larle.

Amey, no I'm not going back - well, I might have to for a little while so I don't have to pay my maternity pay back, but then I'm outa there!! Just waiting to find out if that's the case. No way can I do that soul destroying job any longer. When are you due back? xx

OP posts:
larlemucker · 29/04/2013 21:47

So glad it's not just me emily!!

You'll be fab MrsN, what's your soul destroying job?

Baby larle took 2 hours to put to bed, screaming fit and all sorts. Think he is teething so rubbed gums with ambesol.

Good luck tonight ladies

Babybeesmama · 29/04/2013 22:03

I'm back at beginning of July :( SO dont want to go! I'm happy at home with my gorgeous 2! X

SoYo · 29/04/2013 22:09

MiniYo has been a terrible grump all day which is usually a bad prognosis for the might ahead. No idea what's bothering her but she's not a happy lass.

Sounds good about BF advisor MrsN!

Larle I hope you have a better night.

larlemucker · 30/04/2013 01:08

Been up 3 times since we came to bed at 10. I'm exhausted Hmm

MrsNPattz · 30/04/2013 01:17

My son is driving me potty, asleep for 2 hours then awake, shhh pat to sleep then awake an hour later, and decides now is the time to roll around the cot. He is quite happy for me to sit there shhhh patting while he plays, but when I move away he winges. This is ridiculous.

I'm a civil servant Larle, benefits related.

Up over 1hr earlier than usual & 2 transfer fails so far. The second after 5 mins so I was just falling asleep again when she screamed. Grr.

Anypants · 30/04/2013 03:02

First feed since 8pm here but she's an hour earlier than she has been so am wondering if she'll make it to 7am without another feed...? She was a right devil to get to sleep but she has been all day, crying/screaming every time I tried to get her to have a nap. I think she gets over tired but I try my best to work out when she's ready and seem to miss the narrow 30 second window between 'happy to drift off' and 'forgotton how to sleep so gonna wail instead'. Grrrrr Sad

MrsNPattz · 30/04/2013 07:42

We just got 5 hours, at 2 I took him in with me and fed him - that's what my instinct was telling me to do. Then he stayed with me and fed at 7:15. Is now asleep again but I have to get up for WW

abi2790 · 30/04/2013 08:08

Sorry for all the bad nights again Sad. Ds didn't have a great night either. He woke up about 1:30 and we had 3 transfer fails after I fed him. Luckily I left him in his cot for a while without shushing and he fell asleep himself Smile.

He's being a pain this morning. He doesn't want to eat cos he's too busy trying to stare at everything! It's like a military operation to try and get him to eat in the morning! He screams when I try to latch him on cos he can't see the telly.

larlemucker · 30/04/2013 08:31

abi that sounds just like baby larle.

We were up 6 times last night, bloody awful night and its jab day today HmmHmm

abi2790 · 30/04/2013 10:25

good luck with jabs larle. Thankfully we have no more until he's around 12 months.

larlemucker · 30/04/2013 12:29

That's it, last jabs till he is 12 months. I hate them, he is so smiley and then the screaming starts Hmm poor baba.

Beautiful sunny day here, hoping he will be ok this aft so we can take him out

MrsNPattz · 30/04/2013 12:46

Hope he is ok Larle.

I lost another pound today so need to add yet more points - yippee lol

It's beautiful here too, not going to Water Babies this afternoon because of little mans eye, so we are going to walk to the chemist later.

Well done mrsn! Well we had another sleep through from 11pm till 5 when he went in our bed for another 2.5 hours! Amazing! However he's just woken up from nap very very unhappy! No idea what's up :( x

MrsNPattz · 30/04/2013 18:07

That's so good Amey, very Envy

Babybeesmama · 30/04/2013 19:03

I reckon mrsn that they just do it when they are ready if I'm honest. I've spent so long reading books & trying things (and annoyingly DH told me not to worry & he will sleep when he's ready). I'm trying not to get too excited in case we revert! X

MrsNPattz · 30/04/2013 19:36

Hopefully he won't!

I'm leaving little man all day tomorrow for the first time, I'm off to East Kilbride for my first WW workshop. I'm excited, but I'm also starting to feel down at the thought of leaving him - I already miss him!!

Consequently I'm having the night off tonight as I have to be up at 5! Wonder how hubby will get on?

He is hopefully taking little man to the Drs tomorrow about possible conjunctivitis and eczema, and mention about his awful sleeping too.

Hey everyone, sorry for another absence - started back at work yesterday so been feeling pretty knackered. DS seems ok at nursery so far, but was having a meltdown when I arrived to collect him yesterday, and today managed to fall over backwards and bonk his head! I guess that is par for the course at this age.

First day back was rather boring, but it looks like I will have plenty to do, so hoping that will get better soon. I always moan about work but I forgot how much I actually enjoy it, when it doesn't get too stressful. And I have to confess I am rather enjoying having a break from looking after DS Blush

He has handily decided to start sleeping through though, we've had two nights running now! I'm just waiting for it to go down the pan again. He's being very difficult about drinking milk or water at nursery, so I was kind of expecting him to want to feed more at night, but not so far... I have a massive dehydration headache this evening though, so perhaps he is draining me dry between getting home and bedtime!

Good luck tomorrow MrsN! Hope the dr can help and MrN and BabyPattz have a good day.

Hope BabyLarle is ok tonight. DS should have had his 12 month jabs on Thursday, but I only realised when I read the thread later that evening and you guys were discussing jabs, I had completely forgotten to take him! Shock Oops Blush So I've rearranged for Friday morning. It's not going to go down well...

larlemucker · 30/04/2013 21:50

Hi tea and congrats on sleeping through!
Baby larle been a little more teary today but not too bad. Currently asleep upstairs and has only woken once so far to tonight which is a vast improvement!
Hopefully we wont have 6 wakings tonight!!

abi2790 · 30/04/2013 21:58

I'm shattered. Ds won't stay asleep. I really hope we're not in for a bad night!

Just managed to read through a couple of posts through my stingy eyes. Well done to those babies sleeping and lots of sleepy dust to those that aren't (plus saving some for myself, of course!).

Emilythornesbff · 30/04/2013 22:36

Sounds like a lot of rubbish evenings here. Can I join? Grin so far this evening could be described as one long transfer fail. Hey ho.

Well done on your weight loss mrsn that's great.

Good news about sleeping through tea

See you later if I manage any degree of alertness during night feeds.
Em

Babybeesmama · 30/04/2013 22:38

Well done baby tea! Sorry to everyone suffering rough nights Confused.

I got some eBay bargains! Picked up a groove n learn activity station for babybee in mint condition - £10! Also got a tandem buggy (very hilly where we live & DD finds it hard to walk long distances) for £10!!! Amazing! X

Babybeesmama · 30/04/2013 23:01

Ps I did c25k today - I actually enjoyed running for 3 mins each time - I must be ill........ Shock
