Second up time here, earlier was very successful - hubby had him back to sleep in seconds. So far I have given him teething powder, a bit of a rock and now he's in his cot with the projector and Ewan, not asleep but quiet at the moment

Hope you are doing ok Larle.

Still awake here, pissed off with hubby - I said to him before I went to bed I'm not feeding little man until 2, 5 mins of trying to get him to sleep (I have been trying for an hour) and he says feed him then goes off in a grump when I say no!! Thanks for the support love!!

Well I got him to sleep and in his cot at ten to, but he woke again so he's feeding now cause that's 5.5 hours since his bedtime feed and two feeds that we have managed to miss out so I am pleased with that. It's hard work though and I'm knackered.

Well done for sticking to your guns MrsN, naughty MrN though.
Baby larle has just woken up doing a big poo, made DH change nappy though. Now having a mammoth feed as its been 5 hours since last one.

Sorry to hear of all the sick LOs out there

abi2790 · 19/04/2013 02:59

Well done larle and MrsN. I hope you're hard work night weaning your babies pays off and you get lots of sleep soon!

DS has slept well again. 8- 2:30. Maybe the last two weeks of waking every 1-3 hours have been a developmental stage?

abi2790 · 19/04/2013 03:02

*your

Oh and hope babybee is feeling better soon.

I think ds is teething too marbles. How long does it take for first teeth to come through?

SoYoFromKokomo · 19/04/2013 04:01

Bee,Tea &Goathope your LOs are better soon & the magic of calpol is earning you some zzzzzzs.

Marbles have you got the weekend off? Hopefully the second week back will e better.

MrsN & Larle well done!

Sorry for anyone I missed, Brew & digestives for all!

It took 2hrs to get Miss Madam to bed tonight but she's slept for 4.5hrrs since which is lovely. Having another mega feed now & hopefully she'll go back down.

larlemucker · 19/04/2013 04:52

Baby larle just woken up again. Tried rocking back to sleep but he started having a meltdown. You know when they cry that hard they can't get their breath? So I gave in and we're feeding. BUT he went 5 hours between evening feed and first night feed and has gone 3 hours between 1st and 2nd night feed so already an improvement!!
Maybe he heard what I was planning!!

Hope everyone us sleeping

abi2790 · 19/04/2013 07:37

Morning all Smile

How did your night's go larle and MrsN?

Whyyy does ds always poo at 7am? It's not the nicest thing to wake up to!

larlemucker · 19/04/2013 08:04

abi baby larle does a morning poo too!
We had 2 feeds last night. He woke again an hour after second feed but I snuggled and rocked him back to sleep then fell asleep cuddling!! Whoops!!!

MrsN how was your night?

abi2790 · 19/04/2013 08:19

That sounds much better than your normal night larle Hope you're feeling less tired today Brew. Are you hoping to night wean completely?

Anypants · 19/04/2013 08:53

Sorry to have missed.the party last night - just checking in after a good night. DH got up at 3.45 to give DD a bottle and she slept through till now! I got some decent shut eye but have woken up with one very sore, massive boob and had to get up because I couldn't stand it! Feel much less exhausted though and looking forward to a better day. Grin
Morning! Brew Brew Brew

MrsNPattz · 19/04/2013 09:14

Morning ladies, well I fed little man at 2, then had about 4 transfer fails so hubby tried and when he picked him up he was sick, and then went down after that so it must have been sitting in his tummy. That was him until gone 8! So although I was up for over 2.5 hours we achieved what we wanted to and I got a 5 hour stretch of sleep.

I have to admit I had a bit of a meltdown in the middle - tears, getting annoyed with little man and feeling very negative, even thinking that I will have to give up the WW job cause I can't do it like this. But of course I feel a lot more positive this morning!

Well done Larle! How do you feel today? xx

Hi ladies and little ones, sorry haven't checked in for a few days hope everyone's ok?

We've made progress! Most nights only having one night feed now, although she's still convinced 5.30 is morning Confused and this week I've been putting her in her cot in dd1s room for the first part of the night which seems to have helped with the early wakings, I guess we must have been disturbing her when we came to bed.

Off to Cornwall again tonight, DH has a job interview tomorrow so really crossing all our fingers for it.

Sending lots and lots of sleepy vibes to everyone.

Heff xx

MrsNPattz · 19/04/2013 20:05

Bedtime nerves creeping in here - really hope it's easier than last night.

Glad things are going well Heff! Thanks for checking in SmileThanks xx

Good luck MrsN!

I think ds is feeling poorly. He's had a snotty nose all day and he's been really upset. He screamed right next to my ear... Ouch!! He's also got a really nasty dribble rash. It's making me worry as I don't know if it could be something. Definitely think we have a trip to the gp if it doesn't start to clear up over the weekend.

MissingMyMarbles · 19/04/2013 21:58

Zzzzzzzzzz

Emilythornesbff · 19/04/2013 22:17

Missed you all last night. Couldn't reach I pad Grin
Babythorne fed twice. Why does it take them so long to settle after a feed though? If it was just change, feed, put in cot for a sleep it would be a pece of not at all fattening cake!
Hey ho. Waiting for babythorne to wake up for first night fed.
Good night wishes to you all.

abi2790 · 19/04/2013 22:24

Ds has been asleep for a couple of hours but I can't get to sleep for worrying and some idiot in the street thinks it's okay to let your dog bark at this time. DS' rash is getting worse and I've been making myself panic by looking at symptoms of measles which is highly unlikely.

larlemucker · 20/04/2013 01:06

Had a row with DH, tried to apologise but he is too angry so is downstairs and won't come back to bed. Fucking great

MrsNPattz · 20/04/2013 01:29

Feeding little man, it's first feed since 8:30. He woke at 11:20 and we rocked, gave Calpol, shhhhd and he fell asleep at about 12 but that's him up again. Why will he not just sleep.

Oh Larle it's so hard isn't it, we are a bit like that at the moment. I keep getting so stressed out and anxious and we are winding each other up. Stay strong Thanks

Hi guys - checking in! Just fed baby but as Emilyt says - why does it take them so long to settle after a night feed? I'm knackered, why isn't she?! Just lying here desperate for the loo, rocking her crib. We are back at my parents for the w/e and left DH back home - so lovely for him, but a full night of total responsibility (and nappies) for me! I also still have multiple infections in my stitches from the birth and just want to sleep. Hmm

Emilythornesbff · 20/04/2013 03:06

2nd feed at casa thorne.

Oh so tired and preparing for transfer fail Grin

Poor Larle with grumpy DH. Don't be sad. He's just tired and overwhelmed (and has decided to forget that you are too). You can both make up tomorrow. Just enjoy having the bed to yourself Grin.
Hope you're asleep now Abi. If not, call out of hours so you can get some reassurance.
novia I know. Same here right now. Little poppet just had 2 minutes' feeding and snoozing but if I try to transfer....... Monkey
As we all know this baby business is over all too soon and as someone said " when rhey're little you want to eat the,, and when they're teenagers you wish you hadGrin. I've decided to treasure this special. Ight time togetherness (and buy more coffee and Touché eclait.)?
Wishing you all healthy bubs and soothing sleep.

Emilythornesbff · 20/04/2013 03:07

MrsN have you read that "no cry sleep solution" yet?

This will pass.

larlemucker · 20/04/2013 03:48

Trying to rock instead of feeding but he is screaming the house down. He is so hungry. He is never going to let me bloody sleep
