Definitely not planning to ttc anytime soon. Post c section they always advise waiting 18 months minimum before ttc. I like you Heff am kind of hoping it will just happen as then I don't have to worry about picking the best time!

Hi ladies, just checking in to show solidarity on my weekend away! Sorry to hear of bad nights. I can recommend a bit of time off if you can get it! Stayed up far too late last night and had terrible hangover this morning but thankfully it went after a nap.

stitch hope you are ok after pg test experience!

heff I fear that babyfunch already has a massive soft toy army of gifts from her birth...maybe I should hide them all so she never develops the urge to start taking them everywhere! Lol at the sergeants and barracks!

Thanks for you stitch. And thanks for saying about the 18 months c section rule, no one told me that, not that we will be ttc that soon I don't think but it's good to know.
Baby small is having a bad few nights and I'm too tired to post usually. He is asleep for now though so off downstairs for some mulled cider and a nag at DH who is drunk and annoying after being out at the football all day Angry

Aww stitch, can understand the disapointment/ relief thing! I'm wondering if we will have no 3 or not now, DH isn't so keen anymore! I'd be really sad if I didn't think I would go through it all once more in a way but we will see!

We have been to a 1st birthday party today! Had a lovely time & DD+DS were very well behaved!

Been invited out with work to nandos on Wednesday - I know it sounds stupid but I feel so fat I don't want to go Hmm x

Attempting bedtime here - hoping for a successful transfer then I will be joining him! He looks sooooo cute when he is sleeping Smile sometimes I can't believe he's mine!

Hope there are some good nights tonight - myself included!

Stitch how old is baby stitch now? I keep thinking about DC2 especially as DH said he didn't want another, I was so disappointed. Hope you get a bfp as and when you want one!

We're off the boob and did a gradual (ish) reduction but now have a very lumpy left boob, do not want to express but am wondering should I to avoid any blockage?

Hideous evening with baby loup so far, she normally goes down at 630-7 without fail, took nearly 3 hours tonight and three transfers finally asleep and I've got the wine open.... Expecting a hideous night. Hope babies are all sleeping well Wink

First feed after bedtime feed, Stitch has been feeding for half an hour so far.

DH just came in with tea and said "she's just feeding for comfort". She was still fully feeding, so I said "are you going to take her then? because if I take her off she will scream". He took her, she cried and he handed her back again. There are just some times that a mummy knows best! Grin

Evening, how has everyone's day been?

Got both girls to bed at reasonable 7.30, tasty curry for dinner and a bit of midsomer murders indulgence with DM before coming to bed 20 minutes ago when of course babylump woke up as soon as my head hit the pillow Hmm feeding now she seems to have dropped off but the truth will be in the transfer.

Welcome new posters, wow we've got two sets of DTs on here now :)

mrsn how is your weekend going without DH? Today for us has been good we spent it with DM, went to the park and into town. Tomorrow we're on our own so thinking we might feed the ducks and maybe attempt a bit of cooking (picked up a really simple cereal bar recipe in Waitrose that looks great for DCs... Could be a disaster though!) before collapsing in a heap and waiting for DH to get home in the evening.

We've got to wait until the end of next week to find out about DH's job, there's still people to be interviewed but I wish it wasn't such a long wait. Really want him to get it.

amey would you enjoy yourself once there? If so then go and maybe just order a lighter option if that would help, but don't make yourself go if you won't be happy anyway.

funch hope your girls weekend is going fabulously Grin

Ok here goes, transfer imminent...

Totally agree stitch - DH often eats his words Wink

Off to bed now, baby loup is still down and out and we've dropped dream feed as it made no difference to waking...

See you all in a few hours no doubt, night x

Ha ha, stitch so true!

mrsn hope your weekend is going ok. I DP hasn't left me overnight with DS so far only rolled in late from work outings and while doing things like supper are harder, I have quite liked doing bedtime along Blush

heff that's so hard to have to wait. Hope he gets it...

Welcome lamprey hope the DTs have settled for you.

Sorry to people I've missed. So many on here these days.

Went to see the iLs sat afternoon. Babybrain was on his best behaviour and was cute as anything Smile
Transfer time... Wishing good sleeps to you all.

Second feed!! This is good! The first was 10.30 with x1 transfer fail. Longest stretch we've had in ages

Report
BrainGoneAwol · 03/02/2013 02:54

Third feed Sad. It's so frustrating! Yesterday babybrain slept 9.30-12.30, 1.30-6.00 (yay!) Now he's just done 9.30-12.00, 1.00-2.45. What am I missing?! I know he can do it...

Evening, first feed here. Baby larle slept in travel cot again (so far) tonight!
amey going out might do you good, bit of adult conversation! Plus nandos is really nice (and I'm jealous as we don't half one anywhere near us!)
Welcome lamprey.
Sorry not to namecheck everyone but baby larle asleep so going to attempt transfer!
Sleepy dust to all

BrainGoneAwol · 03/02/2013 03:50

Failed. Been trying stretches and happy change, but now babybrain wants to chat Hmm

Hoping this feed works.

Glad the travel cot is going down well larle. We have just got one for a planned holiday in Devon at the end of Feb. Hope it's as successful for us Smile

Transfer fail.
brain we have a graco, pretty easy to put up but the mattress is quite hard, I bought a separate one but he slept on the hard one last night.
Fingers crossed for transfer no2!

First feed since 9.30! He did wake at 2 but I refused to feed and just cuddled him back to sleep. Had a bit of a cry earlier to DH about tiredness etc and am feeling better for it Smile. Sometimes it's all you need really, a good cry!
amey I'd go. You can make nandos quite healthy if you stay away from the chips and coleslaw sides. We don't have one near us but I buy the sauces in the supermarket. Yum! It'll do you good to get out.
Hope everyone is getting some zzzzzzzzzzz's

First feed at half 5, he went down at half 9 so he did well! Of course he's wide awake now - I'm not sure which I would prefer, a quick feed in the middle then sleep longer, or no feeds but wake super early??

Heff it's ok thank you, out with SIL and MIL yesterday, then just a quiet day today. Might nip to Tesco as I have vouchers - exciting lol Hubby gets back tonight, can't wait! Glad you have got on ok!

Welcome Lamprey! Wow two sets of twins on this thread now Smile

BrainGoneAwol · 03/02/2013 06:28

larle hope you got some more sleep. The long sessions are nasty. Babybrain kept me up from 1.30-4 tonight, with I never found out what.

He's just woken me again at 6. Started with mumbling so I ignored it for a bit but it got louder and louder. I muted the monitor to come into him but somehow fell half asleep again so was dreaming I was going to him when I was actually still in bed. He was full on crying by the time I got to him Sad. Bad Mummy Sad. I genuinely don't understand how DP sleeps through it.

Report
StitchAteMySleep · 03/02/2013 07:05

Aw brain, you are just exhausted, I have done that before too. You are not a bad mummy.

Welcome Lamprey :)

Hope you get some sleep soon Larle.

Well.done to baby small and MrsN's little man, more sleep that is what we like to see!

Fed at 2.30 here, she pooed, but dh changed her for me. Don't know why she is suddenly pooing in the middle of the night.

Just done third feed, going to attempt transfer now.

Good night!! Bed at 7, intruder at 7.45, fed at 10.30-11ish, 2ish, 4.30ish and up for the day at 7.45 yay! I feel great! By no means perfect but such an improvement on recent weeks.

Sorry not to name check; Sunday mornings are always a huge rush for us.

Morning,
Glad others had a better night than us, don't know what is wrong with ds as after waking at 2.30am he wouldn't sleep longer than 1 hour. Didn't wake up crying or anything but I didn't want him to disturb dh as he started work at 6 and has a 12 hour shift on his own.
Hope to catch up today!

MrsNPattz · 03/02/2013 13:41

I was a lucky mummy and got a couple more hours this morning - up at 9!
