This is little man's first feed!! He's been asleep nearly ten hours! I didn't get quite so much but still a very big improvement!

Hi Mini! We don't speak about cake so much as we are now trying to lose weight haha but please feel free to share your cake Grin

Very quiet tonight!

Wow mrsn that's amazing!! We got 11pm-4am then 4-7 which is good for us!

Waves at mini pops! There's a few people not been on for a while - hope that's because you are getting sleep macaroons, smicha, tea, girl, blonder, mummyvicky, I'm sure there's more names but I can't remember! Grin

Morning all. Thanks for the advice, going to call nana this afternoon and see what's going on.
Baby larle had some really good nights, only up for one feed again last night at 3am, back to sleep 4-8am so not too bad.

Off out for a carvery today. Hope you all have lovely days!!

Hello minipop v nice to hear from you, not a bad night here until about 4 when he managed to bunch his nappy up all on one side and go for a huge wee so cue whole bed and clothing change and full on wake the neighbours screaming baby, I couldn't sleep last night so had about 6 hours broken into 2 hour stretches with along time awake in between so feel knackered and headachey.

Good luck with your call larle and happy Sundays everyone

Mrsn you can take a Carseat with you on most airlines, or if you hire a car you can hire a Carseat Grin x

Hi minipop good to see you again hope its just a temporary blip for you and nice long sleep filled nights return.

larle that sounds really upsetting, I second the advice to just call and see. Hope it goes well.

Babylump had some toast fingers today, hasn't intended to give her anything but DH took us all out for a fry up this morning and she got a bit upset and frustrated, I gave her a strip of toast to see what she did and it was like flicking a switch, she was then totally immersed in gumming it to death for the rest of the time we were there! :)

We've just got back from a really lovely afternoons swimming, took both girls, DH and my middle DSis. dd1 loved showing off how good she's getting to daddy as he's not seen her in her lessons for a few months and babylump was just a wonderful bundle of squishy splashy happiness Grin All home now and starving, what is it about swimming that makes you so hungry afterwards?

Today is DSis's last day, she's finally got her place at rehab and she's off tomorrow for about 6 months. Its a weird feeling because I'm so relieved that something has finally happened to help her, but its also so horribly sad that its come to this :( Just hope it makes the difference, will miss her though.

Oh and to MummyPig / NoRoom I joined the first thread right at the very end, have been seriously grateful for it ever since so thank you! :)

heff that's good news, but so hard to have the reality of it hit home. Hope you all are ok and that the placement works for your DSis.
Cute babylump and the toast. Babybrain has been sucking food for 3 weeks and only today just started chewing (inexpertly Grin) and swallowing rather than pushing it back out. Butternut squash mash went down a treat, but he did have it at eye level by the time he had hysterically finished. Grin

susie poor you and baby loo!

Hope it went well larle

Hello thread founder!

minipop there's a chocolate and banana loaf cake about to come out of the oven. assuming dp hasn't forgotten while I'm feeding babybrain.

BrainGoneAwol · 03/03/2013 18:36

Just realised that's a daft thing to say. Dp is more likely to have got it out and 'tested' it Grin

Heff - good news for your sis! Has DH heard anything from his job interview?

I've been really naughty on diet this week :( feel like a chubber! I'm not weighing Tomo, just going to be really good this week.

DH has an exam Tomo, he failed his last attempt so praying he passes!

I am a new woman. Stitch got another tooth yesterday. She then slept from 10.30pm to 3am last night and I got a lie in this morning. Feeling a lot better for it.

Good news about your sister Heff.

Hope your DH's exam goes well Amey. I don't do diets, but I am meant to be doing exercise. Haven't managed it at all this week, but have promised myself I will this week. Motivating oneself and sticking to it are not easy when you have little ones.

Brain that cake sounds good, your dh has it right, eat it while it is still warm. :)

Larle I hope things get resolved between you and your family and that is was all just a misunderstanding.

Sorry to hear of your bad night Susie, hope tonight is better for you.

Nice to meet you NoRoom and minipop

Hello to everyone else glad to see some good sleeping and coffee shop relaxing going on.

Right to transfer, back later.

Larle I was just thinking about you - hopefully it won't end in a row when you do speak them. Mmmm a flapjack would be wonderful thank you! What are Aztek cookies?

Heff it's good that your sister is getting the help she needs, stay strong. Will you be able to visit? That's wonderful about DD trying food - exciting messy times ahead!

Amey good luck to your DH! What yuminess have you been eating?

I have been looking into being a WW leader again, I think it would be really good for me, but it also scares me! I think I would regret it if I didn't try it though. I have to get to goal first so I have time to think about it.

Bedtime here, another ten hour night would be great - but we all know things don't happen twice in a row in baby land!

No worries mrsn! I've been eating cheese and drinking wine with my parents! Lovely but high in points!

Well babybee is all bunged up & unsettled tonight :( wish I had some calpol plug in refills! Was hoping after 2 decent nights at DM's in t cot he would be even better at home in his own cot... But no! Tired.. May have to send DH in with DD as don't want him to be tired although Friday night DH slept for 12 hours whilst we were at DM's - can you imagine?!! Pure bliss lucky git

12 hours sleep, can't even remember what that felt like!!

Aztec cookies are basically just chocolate cookies, recipie from great British bake off comic relief book (inc the yummy marble cake made a few weeks ago)

Thanks for your thoughts, my mum and her sister have had many massive fall outs over the years so anything can happen. Bloody family, pain in the arse half the time!!

Well first feed here, baby larle is getting really good at self settling meaning we've had a few nights of quite decent sleep but why do you feel so tired when you've had more sleep???

Hope everyone is sleeping!!

Hello all-we are on first feed after very early bed and once again needed a full grobag change because he was wet-not sure what is happening, wondered if it might be nappy sweats so I'm going old school with blankets-unfortunately the change of clothes and early bed means he is very awake now!! Loving all the cake talk-I'm ravenous, dp and dss got a macdonalds for tea and I wasn't hungry so didn't have anything-could totally eat a cold Big Mac now!!

Hoping blankets don't become a new cot toy now and he'll stay awake playing!

Oh yum, all those cakes sound pretty tasty. I've got some M&S all butter sultana cookies which I have recently discovered are gorgeous, far too delicious really as I can never just have one.

Not having a wonderful night here, finally got to bed about 11 after staying up with my sister then babylump woke at midnight followed by dd1 at 1am. Dd1 has a horrible cough so spent next hour being coughed on after having gone down to get her a drink then she finally got to sleep at 2 and now I'm up feeding babylump again. So tired :(

Hope everyone's ok, sorry not to name check, eyes not quite awake enough to keep typing.

Sleepy dust to all xx

susie sorry if this sounds thick but what are nappy sweats?? Have you tried the next size up? Baby larle is on Asda little angels now and they are fab. Nappy rash has gone and so much cheaper than pampers.
We're still using the reuseables which are really good and we've had no leaks yet but pulling the liner out to wash them is pretty gross!!

Crappy night here :( feel like we've taken 2 steps forward and 10 back! Have co slept for most of night but he's been really unsettled. Its bizarre because he never seems to get an actual cold, just has a couple of nights where he can't breathe through his nose at all and gets stressed. I've got him an appointment at gp Tomo as I wanted to discuss the frequent waking & whether it was reflux. I'm worried she will think I'm a neurotic mother! X
