Sorry heff - meant to say DH's exam was a Cisco networking one, they have to re-certify every 3 years or lose it! Pass mark is 80%! Xx

I actually chose the loo, it is a big disabled one right by my office. All rooms here including offices have A glass panel in the door and I share mine with 2 colleagues so they are out. They deep cleaned it and no one else uses it as we have no kids or staff needing a disabled loo at the mo, so I prefer it. If I had to cart my vat of Milton with pump parts, plus pump, plus bottle of ebm any distance I would get questions so I feel this is the best bet! Don't worry I would make them find me another place if I wanted to!

DH and babyfunch were here to talk to child development students today so I got a snuggle at break Grin

Had some fun classes today and the sun is out so feeling good. DH says the night was ok, about 5 wakings between 12:30 and 6:15 so not great but all were brief save one. I am learning to sleep through it better it seems..feel bad about this though!

sorry for me me me post. see you on the new thread!

Hideous night here. Baby bee sick x2 full clothes change and cot, he's full of snot! Well he was last night but today seems fine! DD was also up Sad so we are knackered beyond belief!

Can recommend me Kipling lemon bakewells- just had one to keep me awake - lush! X

Morning, nearly thread 8!!!

funch I third that, you can't express in the loo!! When I went into work last week my HOD let me use her office to feed baby larle, are there no offices you could use? I was planning on stopping feeding before I go back in July but I really love it so trying to work out how to express at work when you have set breaks that are pretty short! Also where do you store the milk?

Sorry to hear of the awful nights out there. We've had another good one, slept 9-3.30 then 4.30-8. Trying to give him both boobs in the night as I'm waking up engorged. He has his last top up of formula yest so hopefully I have managed to increase my supply with the pumping so I won't be up all night with a hungry baby.

So who so we nominate to start the new thread? Who's been here the longest??

Hello all, been lurking but too sleepy to post or hit the right keys on my phone

funch I echo stitch's comment. They have to provide you with somewhere that specifically is not the toilet...

heff hope something else comes up for your dh soon.

Finally had a slightly better night. This is 3rd wake but they have been equal chunks of time since I went to bed at 9.45. Unfortunately babybrain now seems to be awake. I might see if his new mobile will amuse him quietly for a while.

I think also that babybrain has suddenly hit a new awareness that he is crying because he wants company. Not sure if this means doing anything different, I need to think about what the implications are. Hmm

2nd feed here too, Stitch has gone from 11pm until now which is her longest ever stretch. Dd1 did wake me about 4am though, so was in with her when Stitch woke.

funch you're not really expressing in the loo are you? They have to provide you somewhere more sanitary than that even if it is a store cupboard. When dd1 was little I did daily supply and the schools I went into always managed to find me somewhere even at that short notice.

amey congrats to your DH.

Love photos and home videos here MrsN, but they are all on the computer backed up onto a hard drive. Really want one of those electronic photo frames that cycle through the pictures.

Heff, sorry to hear your DH was not successful this time, it is really disheartening when you keep applying and it doesn't work out. Cross fingers for this next one.

What are we going to call the new thread? It is fast approaching.

Hi all! First feed here, baby larle has been asleep for 7 hours!!
He's had a boob so we're watching four in a bed!!

Well done on the passing of exams, hope you had a bottle of bubbly to celebrate!!

I'm here mrsn Having a rubbish night too, three wakings since midnight. I tried to get her off to sleep without boob when she woke at 3 less than an hour after last feed but she just yelled so I've had to feed, despite her not being actually hungry. These nights are hard, she just wants the comfort, I want to be able to give it to her but every hour is just so exhausting :(

I can't get over how quiet it is - is anybody out there?? Blush Of course I hope you are all sleeping soundly, and haven't quietly started another thread without me lol!

Oh we'll done Daddy Bee, what was the exam amey?

mrsn I love photos, got so many I need to get printed but they're piling up and I haven't got any money at the moment. Also I get too easily distracted, so when I'm meant to be choosing ones to order I just end up browsing the lot and reminiscing.

On first feed since bedtime here, a bit early but she was so tired at bedtime I don't think she took a proper feed. Having said that she's just fallen asleep on the job so perhaps I should have tried to settle her without offering boob. Did anyone see the thread earlier about 6 week old sleep training? Made me so :( and more determined to try and just enjoy all the wonderful cuddles and not wish it away too soon (although if she could see fit to sleeping a little bit more that would also be appreciated!)

DH didn't get the job from that interview the other week :( We've sent another application form off today though so we'll see, if he gets an interview we might all go this time as PIL were meant to be visiting last weekend but they couldn't at the last minute so everyone's a bit sad and missing each other.

Hoping for sleepy dust, and can't believe thread 8 is looming!

Heff xx

Little man in bed and I'm going to join him soon, just chilling with hubby.

Am I the only one obsessed with photos? I had a delivery today of 1000 from photobox!!! I have loads of albums but not enough for all that, so will have to buy some more. It was stressing me out thinking of them all building up on the computer. I'm trying to upload them to Photobox every day now then pick some to order every month or something like that to keep up to date. I'm crazy aren't I lol!

hi all checking in from the expressing loo again! all this food sounds fab. I have just polished off a large choc chip cookie. am not really dieting, just hoping weight will magically drop off now I am running around all day at work Grin

Heff I am glad to hear your sister is getting some treatment.

larle good luck screwing up the courage to make that call!

stitch glad you feel better. I cannot wait til we actually see some teeth here, so far it is all symptoms and nothing to show for it Sad

Sleep very mixed here but I got a decent night's sleep last night as DH is a real pro now. Hopefully he is off to his firs NCT coffee with our antenatal class this afternoon (well first solo attendance as we both hosted the last one as it was half term.)

good luck for good sleep tonight!

Hope you got some sleep heff, I checked fb while I was waiting for babyloo to go back to sleep and saw the picture of your roast dinner-it did nothing to help my hunger it looked awesome!!

amey I've been really lucky with my gp whenever I've been and felt neurotic they've always been really understanding so hope it goes ok.

larle babyloo used to get nappy sweats when he was little, it was summer then though, it happens I think because there is no air around there nappies when they have a vest on that does up underneath and then a gro bag and they just get too hot around there nappy. He slept really well in blankets so I'm going to do the same tonight -he also looks very cute in his pajamas.

Have a good day everyone

Crappy night here :( feel like we've taken 2 steps forward and 10 back! Have co slept for most of night but he's been really unsettled. Its bizarre because he never seems to get an actual cold, just has a couple of nights where he can't breathe through his nose at all and gets stressed. I've got him an appointment at gp Tomo as I wanted to discuss the frequent waking & whether it was reflux. I'm worried she will think I'm a neurotic mother! X
