granny feeding, ohh! No too much for me. This programme is definately out to shock.

Hulababy · 01/02/2006 21:29

Okay - now the DH breast feeding I DO find a bit odd.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 01/02/2006 21:29

Oh dear...

fisil · 01/02/2006 21:29

pmsl at "the girls like to draw to express their feelings about breast feeding"

hub2dee · 01/02/2006 21:29

Oh, hubbie loves a suckie.....

hmmm...

harpsichordcarrier · 01/02/2006 21:29

well either they are using the nipple as a dummy
OR dummies are a nipple substitute

Was feeling quite open minded before but holy f**k its just plain weird that the granny breast fed the newborn???!!!

CodHatesMe · 01/02/2006 21:30

And the husband helped get her supply up? NCT or LLL reccomend that?!

wantedmyboobsback · 01/02/2006 21:30

i know my children need love and they get plenty of that and they need feeding and their needs are met my oldest daughter thinks she needs sweets and chocolate and as a parent i know better

harpsichordcarrier · 01/02/2006 21:30

aha! here's my limit
husband taking his turn...
hmmmmmmmmmmmm

bless em

BonyM · 01/02/2006 21:30

The woman is bonkers.

roosmum · 01/02/2006 21:31

actually feel quite for the twins' mum.

wonder how many dp s have had a go themselves...really?? mine hasn't (offered tho, when super-engorged & prob heading for mastitis!)

roosmum · 01/02/2006 21:32

surely granny didn't bf baby, baby just sucked? thus avoiding nipple confusion? makes sense to me.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 01/02/2006 21:32

Really feeling for the little boy

CodHatesMe · 01/02/2006 21:32

'Mummy's milk...' 'Noooo not now' 'Ooooahhh' Bless him.

Merlin · 01/02/2006 21:32

I'm sorry but that woman in Cumbria - her husband takes his turn? Now that is not 'normal'. The milk is to nurture the babies (well not so in this case but whatever) not him FGS.

harpsichordcarrier · 01/02/2006 21:32

ah yes
you see those twins didn't really need it did they?
all about the mum's needs
MY ARSE

OP posts:
BonyM · 01/02/2006 21:33

Hmm - seems a bit harsh to go from feeding the twins up to 20 times a day to not at all. Why not wean them off gradually for heaven's sake?

Nbg · 01/02/2006 21:33

Love the twins family. Her dh is lovely.

RTKangaMummy · 01/02/2006 21:34

isn't the idea to knock out one feed at a time ratrher than cold turkey?
