when i stopped breast feeding had tears but only when i tried to comfort them coz they could smell my milk way round it was for daddy to give them cuddles and comfort and he enjoyed being needed like that

My oldest three gradually self-weaned at ages two and three without my even noticing it so IME it has never been a wrench and I've never had to say 'no'.
