knitter I'm so sorry. I'm actually crying here now reading your sad news . You've helped me alot with both pregnancy and knitting advice over the past few weeks, for which I am so grateful. I really truly am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you take it easy and take time for yourself. Nothing I can even think of saying will help you right now, but I'm thinking of you. xxx

knittakid · 22/07/2010 17:29

Oh Knitter, I'm very very sorry too. I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling. Take care of yourself, and wish you the very best luck in future. Lots of love. Xxx

scubamummy · 22/07/2010 18:30

Knitter so so sorry, rest up well. Big hugs xx

tadjennyp · 22/07/2010 18:33

So sorry to hear your news Knitter, that is just terrible. Take good care of yourself and best of luck in the future for you and your family. xxx

brockleyD · 22/07/2010 19:07

Knitter, I am so sorry. This is such sad news, I really feel for you and wish you all the strength for the next few weeks. Take your time to feel better and as much time of work as you need. Wishing you success next time.

ledkr · 22/07/2010 19:22

its so sad isnt it? I felt like she was our leader and always went out of her way to offer advice. I have had enough of all the worrying tbh never been like this before maybe its my age maybe its being on here and hearing everyones sad news. Wouldnt otherwise hear of quite so many losses.I do hope k.n.t. is ok it was fairly late as well. Take care everyone we are getting fewer.

jackinthebump · 22/07/2010 19:28

Knitter - really really sad news, so sorry x

smallblackflowers · 22/07/2010 20:01

I did the local NCT course last time round, am still in contact with one of the other ladies, but didn't get the friendships out of it that I was hoping for. I have made most of my mummy friends at my local breastfeeding support group and at a 'sing and sign' baby signing group that I joined (by the way, this is the best thing that I did with DD, and would highly recommend it).

It was my first day at work today, and it was so much easier than I thought it would be - I actually quite enjoyed it! It seemed strangely easy - I guess its because I was just having to think about myself for the first time in 16.5 months!

smallblackflowers · 22/07/2010 20:05

so sorry knitter
Please take care of yourself and know that you have lots of virtual friends who are sending you their love and best wishes. xxx

GinaFB · 22/07/2010 20:50

Knitter I'm sad to hear your news, be gentle with yourself. I really wish you so much luck and hope you have some good news later in the year. Xxx

varicoseveined · 22/07/2010 21:47

So sorry to hear your sad news knitter take care of yourself and my thoughts and prayers are with you xx

earlgreyismynectar · 22/07/2010 21:50

Knitter I'm really sad to hear your news, all the very best to you & hope you're back on another antenatal thread soon. Take good care xx

moonminmama · 22/07/2010 22:39

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news knitter. I just want to echo what everyone else has said and good luck for the future x

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 22/07/2010 22:50

I think one of the things about building friendships with other mothers (getting massively ahead of ourselves here...) is that unless you actively dislike someone, keep meeting up with them for coffee (or wherever). Everyone belongs to a different range of groups and you may well find that the woman from your NCT classes that you don't quite gel with has a classmate at baby massage classes that she doesn't quite gel with, but when you and Baby Massage Woman meet through NCT Woman the two of you really hit it off. Also it's worth keeping up connections for the flow of information about what's new and what there is to do, which tends to be very much word of mouth.

Grannyapple · 22/07/2010 23:14

knitter so, so sorry to read ur awful news-look after yourself x.

Chloe55 · 23/07/2010 08:30

What horrible news Knitter I am so sorry.

I know what you mean Ledk about the worry. As much as this thread is a support and comfort at this time it is also a reality check on how fragile life is and how quickly something can be taken away from you. I wasn't expecting that news from Knitter and as selfish as it sounds I am terrified of my scan on Monday now as I am not as far on in my pg and therefore my percentage of a mc is higher

Deliaskis · 23/07/2010 09:05

Knitter so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you .

D

americanexpat · 23/07/2010 09:17

Knitter, I'm so sorry . You must be completely heartbroken.

This is the worst part of the ante-natal club threads.

nomoregandtforme · 23/07/2010 11:09

Oh Knitter - I'm so sorry. Please look after yourself as well as you looked after us.
