SilverSky · 23/06/2010 20:19

Well well well, I have had a manic day in the orifice and pop on to me phone to have an update in the PESH world and what do I find! An effing novel!

Tis so serious, I have got my laptop out (no that is not a euphamism for something else!).

Go curls go!!! Don't forget, its just one hardcore sneeze and the baybee is delivered -tis eashy no?

Wow - what a day!

The little fella (we think its a boy) has been making up for scaring the living wotsits out of me yesterday by booting the crap out of me nearly all day. Not complaining tho. Honest guv.

Horse chicks - Haven't seen my hoss since Sat and Husband and I go over tonight and Husband goes into paddock to retrieve the lump and would you effing believe it, the hoss starts walking towards him. This is the nag that don't come to call unless its middle of winter and his is starving his nuts off. Husband was TOTALLY smug, like he is friggin John Wayne horse whisperer extraodinaire. TYPICAL. Naturally I gave him a stern talking to and warned him against the pitfalls of repeating that kind of behaviour. Hoss that is - not Husband.

Me might go and buys a car seat at the weekend being as its 10% off this week. Plus I feel the needs to spend!

camelbum am so excited for ya! I knew from Day one which in one way was awesome and in others bloody tough as getting to 12 weeks took ages, we went and got a private scan as I was driving myself menkul with it all. Not to mention the insane knicker checking. Good luck and keep positive.

box or rots cant remember which (I am pregnant dont you know which means memory has gone) WTF is a freaking hind leak! Does it fall out your butt?!

My hayfever is shocking today, its like constant snot and realised that today after talking to a colleague, when I went to the loo after for my trillionth wee of the day, I noticed a jolly impressive sticky booger clinging on for life in a nostril. Tres attractive and I am sure it was not appreciated by my colleague. However a 5 yr old boy would have been mightily impressed am sure! Its SNOT WARS!

organiccarrotcake · 23/06/2010 20:29

LOL @ horse silver. Great news about baybee kicking you around. Yuck @ snot! I raise you V painful bottom grapes (but at least people can't actually see them!).

Hind waters are sort of behind the baby's head and fore are in front of the baby but actually I am embarassingly ignorant about this. Sorry! Mum's away so will need to ask her on Monday.

I'm impressed by my hubby. He's found these wipes which are little dried tablets which when dipped in water turn into a pwoper wipe. Brilliant!

organiccarrotcake · 23/06/2010 20:30

PS obv namechanged again.

SilverSky · 23/06/2010 20:39

As generous as you are carrotsIamForeverChangingMyName, seriously you can keep your butt grapes.

Is it me or is it MEGA hot? Have got the fan on and have sent Husband out for ice lollies.

We had omelette with proper chip shop chips LAAAARGGEEEE portion and I scoffed half and cleaned my plate. Man, I iz gonna be the size of a large house in Bel Air at this rate.

Oh and someone at work today, said I finally look pregnant! YAY. Lovely person. She also said I looked nice.

SilverSky · 23/06/2010 20:40

PS - who else is watching Spartacus:Sand and Blood? Its a bit racy!

skihorse · 23/06/2010 20:51

How hot is it with you guys today? It was 28 driving home today but it's not felt that hot today... I think my internal thermostat is broken though.

silver Bastard sly horses innit. Jailbait can usually catch any horse. Git.

I have sent an email to the people responsible for "The Haircut [tm]". I dunno... maybe I just take for granted all the stuff I know how to do around horses - thank god my mum drummed it all in to me. You know, things like girth goes on strap 1 & 3 - I feel it's really patronising to have to say why this is and that you ought to do it, likewise, how to put on a bridle properly. I feel such a cunt explaining it to women in their 30s. But I suppose this is the danger of riding school heros... jailbait says I'm being too "nice" about it and I should just tell 'em straight.

organiccarrotcake · 23/06/2010 21:06

Humph, silver. That's the last time I offer you anything.

ski t'was about 26 here today. 28 the last few days. Fortunately we have aircon in the office but it's still been tough. Hoping that cas's hospital isn't too hot, poor thing.

SilverSky · 23/06/2010 21:11

ski just do wot I do and tell 'em as it is. Your hoss, your roolz, don't like it - sling your effing hook.

Have discovered some pikey haz been snaffling my flyspray - I will find out who it is and I usually find out sooner or later in the meantime I shall be locking it away. Wouldnt mind but in four days its gone from like a third to a quarter and neither me nor sharer has used it in this time! I hate thieving tossers.

CurlyCasper · 23/06/2010 21:19

i am 3cm dilated, cervix down to just 1cm thick, and nice lady says to expect a baybee within 12 - 14hours! Have to be 4-5cm dil before sff gets to come in, which is also when i'll shift to labour ward. Baby still with back on my right and limbs on left. Typing as i contract so can't be that bad. Been offered cocodamol and meptid (?)but still breathing through. Shit, i'm going to meet my spawn soon!

Thanks for all the love and support. Xxxx real kisses so ner [raspberries]

ginhag · 23/06/2010 21:20

xxxxx casp (also real)

CurlyCasper · 23/06/2010 21:20

not too hot!

CurlyCasper · 23/06/2010 21:24

not too hot!

Backinthebox · 23/06/2010 21:27

Ski tell 'em like it is. Tis your horse, have her done the way you would do her or tough. I would be v worried if someone came to ride mine and couldn't put a bridle on properly. I had some daft bint last year while I was interviewing for ma jennie who I had to get off big horse quick-sharp before he chucked her off and ate her. Yet she was still surprised when I told her she needn't come back. She had genuinely not seen the warning signs, and I had no desire to send my horse off with a woman who was completely incapable of dealing with him only to see him galloping back along the main road in a few days time! Just tell them, I say - you are doing them a favour by educating them.

Silver it IS mega hot. We have been in our pool again today and this time I spotted the warning signs and managed to whip DD out BEFORE she did a poo that would scare an elephant! What is it with the old 'I get in pool, I do a poo?' DD, obviously. Not me - I'm saving that for my birth pool

Rots correct about hind waters - they are a bit behind baby's head. I have no idea why mine leaked a bit, but was no drama at all. Bit disappointing really.

All is anyone planning to be a hippy? I have just ordered 2 pouch slings for da baybee. I couldn't get on with a ring sling last time - I think I left it a bit late to get started with it and DD wouldn't behave. CS didn't help at all. But when she was about 3 months old I discovered Babyhawks and we both got on with them. I carried one everywhere with me, and actaully ended up carrying her on my back in one while pushing the pram full of shopping once at Windsor horse show. I have a khaki green one with a pinky pattern, and a chocolate brown one with an olive minkee lining, and I wore them everywhere with DD until about 4-5 months ago when she got a lot faster with her walking. I kept getting stopped by strangers who were amazed by them, but weirdly friends and family thought I had gone a bit bonkers, and although I wanted to buy both bff and my sister one as presents for having their babies, neither were interested. Anyway - today I came across these [http://simplymeitai.co.uk/simplymeitai-gallery bea-oooootiful meitais!]] I want one, but it would appear the waiting list isn't even open atm. Ah well.

rollerbaby · 23/06/2010 21:30

Oh my gawd Curly! 12 hours... bloody hell how exciting is that.

Meptid is like Pethidine and apparently good for very long, painful first stage. I woz very proud when I knew that and my GP didn't when I went to ask for a homebirth prescription for October...

Gin hello, is good to see you in here. Come back soon and tell us how you are getting on. Hope you aren't feeling too yucky yet.

Dog is having his bits off tomorrow. Poor thing.

SilverSky · 23/06/2010 21:34

boxerbeat way to go. I too am saving that party trick for that speshal occasion too.

Wonder why little box likes to poo in the pool??

My laptop is shockingly slow and I cant get that Babyhawks link to work!

Curly will have a baybee in the morning!

Backinthebox · 23/06/2010 21:36

Cas! Go go go!!! If you are mobile go and look for the only fan in the hospital. For some bizarre reason they only ever seem to have one fan and no aircon. It might be OK atm, but you also might feel a bit hot later on.

A real new ginger baybee at last!

BTW that link above, for anyone needing something to do at the computer while waiting for Cas's next installment should be bea-oooootiful meitais!

laurielou · 23/06/2010 21:41

CURLY Christ on a bike, its happening!!! You are absolutely remarkable to keep posting. Good luck, will be thinking of you loads, xxxx (yeah, yeah, kisses what of it?)

No way am I going to sleep tonight, too excited..........

SilverSky · 23/06/2010 22:19

I will blooming sleep as been up since a sparrows fart.

Signing off now but will check in tmw for curlycat baybee update !

cheggers · 23/06/2010 22:50

laurie you really ought to be conserving that energy for glastoing but yeah, cas how exciting - can't believe it's happening?! good luck chick. is sff there yet??

ski aye. boobs are pretty impressive although arse didn't come out the other side too ship shape. think will be a while before i could dare bag a millionaire

oh and it is easier without the fella here as i'm a lazy arse who switches off when someone else is here to share the load. when i'm on me own, i'm on the ball and just get cracking through the schedule (twinz without schedule did not work!)

also blokey always lets them fall alseep on his chest. even with me harping on in the background that i'll never be able to do it when he's not here. grrr ...

fanny hi! tis all going well really. i think i luckily have very placid girls. my mate with new baby boy came round the other day and screatched the house down. apparently he is always like that. i swear my 2 would be easier than one of him any day.

thanks for the sling link boxy, will look into it. i bought a moby wrap initially but both the girls go into meltdown when i try and put them in it

gin - good to see ya missus

PollyPoo · 23/06/2010 23:29

Just in from work and checking on the GhostlyOne. Squuuueeeeeee! How exciting - I'm off to bed now and when I wake up tomorrow you will hopefully have your beautiful baybee girl in your arms. How will I sleep?! Am so excited for ya luvver!

Where is Cunty this evening? She has been quiet, non? Perhaps she is busy birthing too?

What a fabulous day!

SilverSky · 24/06/2010 06:27

My post didn't post!

Morning all and where is the news of the new BESH baybee !???

Too excited to work today!

cheggers I agree men can be such a hindrance and I am very lazy less motivated when Husband is here fo' sho'.

CUNextTuesday · 24/06/2010 07:48

Up extra early to investigate affairs with curls. I see she's been slack on the keeping us fully informed front . It's so early my eyes barely function...

Nowt birthing here yet

organiccarrotcake · 24/06/2010 07:59

Also popped in early for an update. Grateful for yours, cunty, even if it's a lack of news, as it were. Very disappointed in cas . Thought we would have a stream of updates by now . Seriously, hope you're ok and all is going well, cas, and really looking forward to when you can get back to us.

box I love love love Mai Teis. I only discovered them when LC was about a year or 18 months or so, but I carried him in it on my back until he was well over 2. I now iwll be using mine from birth as they're so practical and easy to use. My friend prefers slings which she uses until hers are 2 ish (they sit in them like a seat) and she finds it very easy to BF on the move in them but I found them very uncomfortable with all the weight on one shoulder. However, it's possible that I had the wrong sling and didn't adjust it correctly. Said friend is now an uber-expert so I may just try one again with her help.

cheggers This prob sounds nuts but I have seen twinz in slings - two slings, one on each shoulder. They were very content and mother found it a lifesaver but I suspect it would take a lot of getting used to, and prob a sling expert to get the tension right.
