and meant to add, umf, I love Petroc, what a great name. Cornish?

Another give-away! Someone has given me a dress and Jkt set from Formes maternity. I'd say it's a size 10. Difficult to describe so I'll take a photo and link it later. It's in perfect condition and would be good for a wedding or other formal occasion. Let me know if you're interested as I'm really not going to wear it and it seems such a waste, probably cost well over £100 new! I'll get a photo up asap, email [email protected] if you want it and I'll get it in the post.

vix, I wondered about baby towels too, but after seeing how cold tiny babies get, and so quickly, after having a bath it was really handy having something with a hood to snuggle them up in quickly.

well i've had 4 of the 5 deliveries turn up today from last weeks internet shopping frenzy including stuff from Blooming Marvellous (as it seems some people were concerned about their orders?). Really chuffed with how much i got for the price that i paid, and especially liking how cute the bodysuits are that i ordered from Sainsbury's - they are doing packs of 3 in pink, blue or cream colour schemes at £3.25 per pack of 3 which was half their original price and way cheaper and way cuter than the plain white ones that i saw in mothercare which were over £10 for 3 - so if anyone needs to buy some, might be worth taking a look at Sainsburys!

hmmSleep · 19/07/2010 16:36

Here's the dress I'm giving away. It says size 38, but think it's around a size 10, it is double layered quite stiff transparent fabric, pale coffee coloured with dusky pink and gold detail. Like I said before email [email protected] if you're interested. Really doesn't suit me but think it could look lovely on the right person!

hmmsleep beautiful dress (too small for me) and then a fab 24 week bump below! - loving your photo. I'm holding off until the fat/bump ratio improves before a bump portarait although I do nearly look like the photo on my phone from early pregnancy in the M&P changing rooms with one of their fake bumps under a T-shirt.

Pidgin · 19/07/2010 17:35

should add I meant above- not below-the-bump - to be precise, the waistband goes below the bump and then it has stretchy blue fabric over.

Wallace · 19/07/2010 19:08

hmmmsleep - Have emailed LOvely bump btw

Pidgin - if it isn't being greedy I would love the jeans

At this rate I won't need to go shopping

hmmSleep · 19/07/2010 19:22

It's yours Wallace , have emailed back.

Thanks so much, hmmsleep. You are a lovely person! I will make sure I take photos when I'm at the wedding

Pidgin - I feel greedy asking for your jeans too. If anyone else wants them let them have them. If not I'm definitely interested

Pidgin · 19/07/2010 19:48

They're yours wallace! what's your email address?

hmmSleep · 19/07/2010 19:54

Tip for those not wanting to give out personal information on mumsnet, I set up a separate email address with my mumsnet name to use for things like this, only took a few seconds, can be a bit confusing though!

Mibby · 19/07/2010 19:58

Hi all

Have spent the last week clearing junk and moving stuff so the spare room 'just' needs redecorating now.

Cot came (after much drama) on Sat.

Am starting to feel more organised now

Gave my boss my 'going on maternity leave date' form today but they want the MATB 1 too, not got mine yet, has anyone else? I guess the midwife will do it when I go next week (will be 25+3)

Mibby x

Wallace · 19/07/2010 19:58

Good idea hmmsleep

PrivetDancer · 19/07/2010 21:17

No, my bloomin marvellous order hasn't bloomin turned up!

I chased them and they said it hadn't got to the orders database (despite it being visible in my order history on the site) and that I'd have to place the order again. It is all out of stock now though so I can't!

A bit annoying, but really it was just stuff I was buying for the sake of it so they have saved me a few £ I suppose. Went crazy on funky moose instead

tiany · 19/07/2010 22:16

just a quick hello and marking my place! hope everyone is well

Pidgin · 20/07/2010 09:06

Wallace jeans are on their way.

Privet that's a massive pain about your BM order - grr!

I am so sleepy today I could go straight back to bed - having a couple of days off before the weekend thank goodness...

harmonyb23 · 20/07/2010 12:02

Hey everyone, back from our weekend away and had a fab time with DP and DS despite the rainy weather. Seem to have ballooned these last few days and am looking pretty massive now!

Mibby - I got my MATB1 form at my 16 week appointment the midwife gave it to me signed and stamped and told me to fill out the form when I was 20 weeks and hand it to my employer, I sent it in last week (when I was 22 weeks) as I panicked that it said in one of my leaflets I had to have handed it to my employer by the 25th week so I thought I'd better send it in early as the school is now closed (where I work) and so I didn't know how lapsed they would be with relation to mail atm. I'm sure it'll be fine though seen as your appointment is quite soon!

Off camping either tomorrow or Thursday so I will be disappearing again... Hope everyone has a great week!! x x x

Mibby · 20/07/2010 17:06

Thanks harmony

And thanks for all the nice messages and sympathy about the cat

Wallace · 20/07/2010 19:16

harmony - hope weather is nice for you

Pigin - thanks soooo much

Privet - shame about order. I had to look at the link because I thought you meant you bought a funky moose

mumcha · 21/07/2010 10:49

Hi all glad to hear everyone is keeping well.Tomorrow i have my 25 wk scan just hoping that they tell us what sex it is .I feel massive now but the good thing is i have only put the weight on my stomach but that could all change lol.

nomoremagnolia · 21/07/2010 18:56

Mibby I got my MAT B1 at my 20 week midwife appt, along with the paperwork for my health in pg grant - which couldn't be sent off til I was 25 weeks, but I had it all filled in ready to be posted as soon as I had it signed at 25 weeks!
Things seem to be going slowly now - does anyone else feel that? It seems like ages until baby is here but there are no more major milestones to get to before then iyswim (no 12/20 wk scans etc) I am counting down until DH is back instead now though which is exciting

Rinnyx · 21/07/2010 20:24

Good luck with your scan tomorrow mumcha

I booked my 28 week app today even tho I am only 24 weeks but they said to book about 6 weeks in advance really cause it fills up fast
Still going to the doc Monday tho so I can ask him about Spain in Sept and other stuff and see if I can get him to sign a HIP form haha, want to use it to help towards the office/baby room.

BTW is anyone elses LO tending to sit on one side?
My bump is still nice and round but I find he likes to hang around on my right, I often feel a lump so I am guessing its head or bum but myself and others have said I am carrying low and I do tend to feel ALOT of kicks right down 'there'

bunnygirl80 · 21/07/2010 23:44

mumcha good luck with the scan

nomoremagnolia Sometimes it feels like time is dragging and then others it seems like it's flying by and LO will be here before we're ready.

I've mentally divided the rest of the pg into little milestones, which does seem to help it seem less of a stretch of time to get through. I've come up with these stages to get to: 24 weeks - viability, 32 weeks - can give birth at chosen hospital (they can't look after very prem babies there), 37 weeks - technically full term, 42 weeks - baby will definitely be here even if he has to be forcibly evicted

rinny I'm also feeling like my cervix is taking a bit of a beating!! When I had my scan at 19 weeks we could see him kicking away at it but I couldn't feel it at all, now he's a bit bigger it's starting to feel like he's tap dancing on it

Wallace · 22/07/2010 07:07

mumcha - good luck for scan

I've got a heart scan at 24 weeks (dd had a hole in her heart so they do an extra scan). I think I try to make it pass by counting down the months. When the kids go back to school (mid August) I will be 6 months. Almost 7 at my sisters wedding. 8 months during the October holidays - that'll be fun trying to entertain the kids!
