Definitely cheaper - I am off to buy drain rods on ebay for future use. Fking ridiculous waste of money but needed the loo back to working order and quickly!!!

Moo you really have had a shit time!

Curly sorry to hear all about your poorly orifices?. No one tells you that pregnancy can be pretty shite at time. Hope you are getting some rest.

Jealous of the PESH fest. Can we have a London one soon?

MR C said I looked pregnant today and not fat! I was wearing a wrap top though which can succeed in emphasizing any tummy!

rollerbaby · 18/05/2010 21:55

Yes please London Pesh Fest! I know I have been rubbish in setting stuff up but I promise if cake is on the agenda I will be there!!

Oo's in London again?

Yoos lot are all lovely you know. But please not to worry. I am on day two of three expected off work and have muchly been sitting in the sunshine telling Him where to put stuff in the garden. I did put some seeds in pots while sitting, but that's as strenuous as it gets (unless you count going to the loo!)

Actually, relief came about this time last night. And it was a very large relief! Still taking all the meds to get regular and infection free, but feeling brighter already. And the little 'un has really picked up on the wiggle front.

Anyone heard from iggy? Did she go on hols? (mind mess)

Very jealous of the Newcastle three. Sounds like a blast, but can someone please explain the vodka pizza?

moomoo hope the pup sorts himself out soon. I think you're going to be needing all the sleep you can get over the next few months.

. ...(speaking of which - just watched Dorian Gray. Gin houses just like the palace with lots of wimmiz molesting young men...)

rollerbaby · 18/05/2010 22:41

Fanks Curly... you take it easy chicken.

Vodka pizza??? Bleurgggghhhhh

OP posts:
Cosmosis · 19/05/2010 08:53

yas iggs went on hols

vodka pizza had chicken on that was alledgedly marinated in vodka, it was nice, but you couldn't tell.

skihorse · 19/05/2010 10:10

curly I'm very glad to hear that you are actually fine. Please keep us posted else we'll all worry terribly!

honey I'm afraid I must've missed the original - why are you trying to make puppy sleep downstairs? I went through nearly 3 years of getting the kitchen/living room floor/cage soiled before we just "gave up" in August 2009 and let them in to the bedroom. We've not had one solitary incident in the bedroom - and as an added bonus we've not had any barking or crying. The endless floor cleaning when you're just out of bed wore the both of us down and I was always paranoid that the house would smell a little bit of wee - no matter how much we cleaned.

okie Organise the London PESH meet. You will need to find a location with comfy seats for spreading on. Cakes for eating of. Cocktails. Maybe dog-friendly too? You will love it - I know you're a second-timer so you know what you're doing (lucky lady!) - but I really appreciated being able to talk to other PESHes. I know we can talk to friends/colleagues - but unless they are actually pregnant their interest is somewhat limited...

Btw - haz occurred to me that someone is going to lay a baybee in this fred!

CurlyCasper · 19/05/2010 10:45

Fanks ski. Main reason for frequent fred absence is lack of decent internet. And I will now have so much to do when I go back to work (for 6 days!) that I doubt I'll be chatting then. Supposed to be getting proper broadband at the house on Monday, so that should help.

There appears to be much curiousity about us/our house - despite it being a dead-end, laydeez on horses* keeping trotting up and peering in my dining room window (no joke, I walked in to find a big brown hairy head looking in!) and all the future grandparents are visiting on the Spring Bank Hol. I've not even laid a baybee yet!

Let's not rush into talk of the June babies appearing on this fred - because that makes us next!

*that would be most of the community. This place is even more hossy than I suspected.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 19/05/2010 12:41

I'm in ThatLondon! But I'll warn you now, am really quite socially inept. It would be nice to meet up though...as long as I can be guaranteed not to have the hugest bump. Seriously, am only 22 weeks and look more like 8 months today - chappie even gave up his seat on the train this morning for me. I blame thishere wrap top and the mountain of recently consumed chocolate.

rollerbaby · 19/05/2010 12:50

Maybe we could have a Pesh Picnic?!!! A PESHNIC! Ha ha - spot the fat women in the park!

Ski and anyone else who is interested in my doggy blatherings, we have had a breakthrough on the dog training front last night. Little monkey basically got worse before it got better which according to dog experts in pet section on mumsnet is entirely normal cos we were reinformcing the behaviour by going down and getting him when he barked at 5am. So eventually ignoring seems to have worked. Last night we only had 10 mins barking at bedtime and then again at dawn and then he shut up. We woke up at 7am in disbelief going - why is the dog not barking???!!!

So... sleep is not far away!!! Yipppeee. It has been a test of endurance but we are winning.

OP posts:
OkieCokie · 19/05/2010 13:00

Ski I don't feel I know what I am doing any more than the rest of you as I am still as paranoid and apprehensive as any first timer. All I do know is I want my birth experience to be totally different this time! I love talking to fellow updiffers as I agree I can bore the pants of everyone else.

I think moo and I can arrange PESH meet together - I think she would be the type of person expert on comfy places serving cakes and cocktails. I would like to chuck out the following weekend date options:
5/6 or 6/6
19/6 or 20/6
4/7

If week day evening would be best then that opens up a whole load more date options!

Does SW LON suit all or would a central location be best? We can fix up more finer details on t'other place.

[[http://www.flyuia.com/eng/company/ukraine-international-airlines/news/1658.html?&news=438&category =1 hurrah]

ski I can't FB email you ATM, but I don't know why. Am totally shocked by Julian comment. What a disgusting and horrible thing to say. Who on earth would make such a comment? I also can take a joke, but that just isn't one, that's just sick. Fair enough, one may not feel that another's baby is cute, but why be so rude? To be honest, Peter was really quite unattractive as a newborn. Or, as my dad said, "He looks just like you did when you were newborn - all squashed and ugly!". Now I didn't take offence because it was true - but more to the point I'd already said so - but it's my DAD and we have a close relationship - anyone not really close to me would really hurt me saying that. Obviously he became totally gorgeous very quickly as he unsquashed!

I personally think that Julian looks totally gorgeous in the photo (and that mine looks a little odd, but each photo I have is different - that's just the clearest). But I really enjoyed the scan.

Can't remember if I said but I emailed mum with a pic of his face and one of his willy (so she knew he's def a boy!). She phoned me on her car phone which isn't working and has a really bad line. I said I thought the photo looked V much like YOB, and she obviously didn't hear me properly and asked, "which one"?

organiccarrotseedsareplanted · 19/05/2010 13:11

Oh ignore link, was just my airline saying ash forecast looks ok for next few days. We fly Monday.

SilverSky · 19/05/2010 13:12

So does box or fp fly? Can't remember ickle poniez username. I am totally useless.

A chum borrowed me (good use of English non?) a maternity top which is fab but my norks are too big for it! One boob is getting stretch marks already!!! Tips?

I can do a southern meet up fo' sho'.

Have felt sick today, no idea why. Am eating my way thru it.

Am also v tired and chair at work is doing head in!

FannyPriceless · 19/05/2010 13:24

silver : boxy flies.

CUNextTuesday · 19/05/2010 13:31

SW London ideal for me, being as it's where I live

Went to MW appt today. Rastus lying head down with spine left and is apparently engaged 1/5. Now to me that means almost fully engaged (as per my preg notes), but mw was saying she could still waggle his head which makes me think perhaps she meant 4/5. Still, he's in the right position so that's all good. Perhaps now I don't have to spend so long on that ruddy bouncy ball of an evening which not only kills my back, but makes me look like a prize twat in front of people I ordinarily demand respect from.

rollerbaby · 19/05/2010 13:53

I can also do 19th and 20th of June.

OP posts:
rollerbaby · 19/05/2010 13:55

Ha ha cunty can't wait to get bouncing on that ball. slightly ironic that I bought it to get fit before wedding and now it's being used for being fat and with child.

Do you also spend most evenings on all fours watching panorama etc?

If we do a PESHNIC we could do Battersea Park or Clap Common maybe? Or THE PUB?

OP posts:
OkieCokie · 19/05/2010 14:31

I had the shakes at lunchtime but devoured a KFC and feel a bit better now. However, I think the route of the problem is I am getting a cold and I have a sore throat, I also seem to have developed a craving for wine.

Moo good to hear you have maybe reached a truning point with woofa. I was up with a crying child last night and he was awake again at 5.30, I can only assume we are about to embark on some weeks of teething hell. I wonder when this teething thing (which we seem to have been going through on and off since he was 7 months) will end, at this rate he will have more teeth than Jaws.

rollerbaby · 19/05/2010 14:35

you poor sausage. God I want a KFC now. I had leon salad out of sheer guilt with a 'healthy' chocolate mousse due to my anaemia... ha ha.

I am getting so lardy I need to eat better or else I will end up with an ASBO on my hands.

Teething sounds rubbish - can you do frozen bananas like dogs?

OP posts:
OkieCokie · 19/05/2010 14:39

Can you elaborate on the frozen bananas? Sounds a bit kinky.

rollerbaby · 19/05/2010 14:42

Ha! No apparently teething dogs like frozen banana and carrot to use as teething chews - soothing for their tooty pegs. I don't want to know what you'd do with a frozen banana. That could be cause you serious harm.

OP posts:
OkieCokie · 19/05/2010 14:53

I have a rabbit for that, thank you very much! Mini C has an aversion to bananas. I think it is the texture and also he was once violently sick after eating it mashed up with avocado; frustrating as it is a very portable food!

Who would have thought that dogs suffered teething issues too.

organiccarrotseedsareplanted · 19/05/2010 14:55

okie freeze pieces of banana for him to chew (ie big enough pieces for him to hold and get his teeth into).
