pisted cheval wot fb talk? Not seen nuffin so I haven't. Feel free to enlighten me.

The stretch marks are red and now on both mammaries, least I now have matching pair. Normal moisturising is not helping or maybe it is. Tho it's not preventing fo'sho', clearly need more hardcore stuff.

Tummy is stretch free at the mo as is the lack of waistage - long may it stay this way. Tho seem to have had an increase in soft blonde hair there, fortunately short ones. Otherwise run the risk looking as tho have had lady garden highlighted!

skihorse · 20/05/2010 11:00

fanny Seems normal to me, when I moved from Belgium to NL they wouldn't let me go to the Dutch hospital until I'd been swabbed. Fine, but nobody expects an anal swab at 8:30am! I asked what would have happened if I'd been in a car accident - she said they'd have taken me in and simply used extra precautions.

Burger King. Is less than 2 miles away and between here and the stables. The sneaky bastards.

The Dutch put signs outside the house when there's a baby - there is a baby "Alex" on the midwife's road now, who joins "Livia". I think Liva is a PFB as their sign has been up for months now.

OkieCokie · 20/05/2010 11:01

Last time gut instint told me I was having a boy and it was my Mum that chucked a spanner in the works when she said she thought I was the same shape she was when she was carrying me which made me think it must be a girl. Gut instinct proved right.

This time the pregnancy feels very similar but last time I craved only sweet things around 3pm (I always had a double decker in my bag - the king of chocolate bars), now I just crave any food arouond 3pm (when my blood sugar must drop) and when I need a drink of water I need it NOW, I get so parched I can down a bottle of water in one go and I didn;t have this last time. Overall I thnk boy again. MrC even said once he only produces male sperm

skihorse · 20/05/2010 11:04

silver Most of us are friends on fb and we have more "private" discussions on our own group there - you know, stuff you wouldn't want your colleagues to stumble across. It's also good for the arrangement of PESH meets. If you want to find us, search for the angry ginger cat wearing a pink hoody whose name is BESH Palace, let me know if and when you do it.

Me and curly also have blond furry tummies. Although mine appears now to have started on the boobs. How sexy is that? boxer has assured us that it will fall out in clumps post-partum.

OkieCokie · 20/05/2010 11:12

Oh Fanny you are lucky losing weight between. I didn't really manage it. Was it delibrate and with lots effort? I am a bit lazy really but I really need to shift the excess weight after this one.

They reckon brestfeeding burns 500 calories per day (I disagree).

SilverSky · 20/05/2010 11:21

Will check out the FB palace when I get a mo. When I do join you'll know it's me.

Friend at work told me bf is great gor weightloss post preggers. Let's hope I am able to!

CurlyCasper · 20/05/2010 11:58

'ello. Back at work but completely snowed under. Get me out of heeeeerrrrreeeeee!

Can't stop

rollerbaby · 20/05/2010 12:07

Hello - can't keep up today. Another day, another pooey dog crate to clean at 6.30am. Christ knows what the neighbours think we are doing to the poor mutt.

Just had ridiculous risk assessment at work. Example question: "are you subject to any stress or violence". They also made HR move the fruit box off the floor. Useful.

Soooo PESHNIC. Evenings are a bit rubbish for me I'm afraid as I'm generally rushing home to dog and knackered. Weekend days would be better. I think the 3rd weekend of June was the best for me. Was that what we said?

Silver yes join FB and then we can sort out what where and when.

OP posts:
FannyPriceless · 20/05/2010 12:16

ski they took the swab from my nostril, thank god.

okie BF for 7 months and lots of hard work. I agree the losing weight through BF is a bit of a curly one too. So it strips 500 calories a day, sure. But initially at least it's like you are attached to a milking machine 24 hours a day, so:
a) exercise opportunities v limited
b) ravenous, drained, and starving hungry all the time
c) difficult to refuel on healthy stuff with baby attached to your front, so you end up eating whatever is to hand before you faint, e.g. Mars bar (there goes the 500 calories)
etc

Cosmosis · 20/05/2010 12:24

I haz furry tummy also.

CUNextTuesday · 20/05/2010 13:05

I think the 3rd weekend in June will be a bit close to my baby-laying. I expect to be in confinement by then

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 20/05/2010 13:15

LondonPESHNIC - please do go for a weekend date - I may not be able to make this one but hopefuly it'll be sucha riproaring success that the next will be immediately scheduled!

SilverSky · 20/05/2010 13:35

I can do any weekend with enuff notice as I haz no life.

rollerbaby · 20/05/2010 14:25

wot bout sat 5th june?

OP posts:
organiccarrotseedsareplanted · 20/05/2010 16:32

We - er - well - er - just got an offer on the house.

First proper offer we've had in 4 years.

I had a hot flush and a contraction.

YOB's now going to talk to his mother (it's not our house, we just live there).

I don't know what to say. If we sell it, we can finally, finally look for a place of our own rather than living in his mum's house.

Crikey. It's like, cassie and iggs both getting offers (and one sale), now me - like the group of us getting diffed at the same time! Must be the PESH meet that did it . The Peshnic will do something A-MAZE-ING, I can feel it in my soil.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 20/05/2010 17:05

carrots! What great news about the house. I hope it really is good news and what you wanted? It sounds like it would be great to have your own place I reckon and perhaps you can still dig up your recently-planted veg and bring with! Hope that it's the range of offer that you wanted and that it goes smoothly from here.

I also saw somewhere yesterday that I am hopeful about. It is a friend of a friend who wants to sell the upper half of her house without actually strictly dividing it (ie: no seperate stairs etc.) It is beautiful and a great location and probably a rather reasonable price, but would it be harder to sell-on afterwards as a result? Hmmm, maybe...But at this point I am just hoping we will have the luxury of actually getting to really consider it, as it is not yet definite that it will go through and of course there's always the danger that it will take aaaaggggeees. I hope not.

I am jealous about the PESHnic. Grumble grumble.

I am getting through the Big Bad Baby Blanket - about 7cm to go plus the final edging. It's rather lovely, though it has been a marathon. What posessed me to start with something so enormous???

Cosmosis · 20/05/2010 17:48

sorry to be a wet blanket switty but that sounds like a total recipe for disaster to me.

skihorse · 20/05/2010 18:27

Those of us "lucky" enough to be having little boys might want (or not) to take a look at this:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/967140-Things-you-never-thought-you-39-d-hear-yourself-say

There seem to be a lot of willy-orientated stories.

fanny She swabbed my nose and my bumhole. Can I just point out this was with different swabs... and not bum then nose on the same one!

switty I'd say no. The Flems are notoriously mad. When are we meeting in Liege btw? Saturday PESH meet. They have a New Look and a Primark - how much more English can we get?

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 20/05/2010 20:39

Thanks for the down to earth views cos and ski...I know you are speaking sense. We'd have to explore it pretty carefully with her if it were to be a real option...There are building permit and seperation requests that she'd have to look at and so on....I'll keep you posted, but don't worry: I am a notoriously sceptical and head screwed on type of person I won't do something crazy on a pregnancy induced whim.

As for the mad Flems, that's my future half-offspring your slagging off Ms Equine Winter Sports...

By the way, what did you think of that little Amy thread by the way??? Was it for real? My jaw nearly hit the floor when I was reading through the epic OP.

CUNextTuesday · 20/05/2010 21:54

I'm troughing like a bad ass. What can it mean??

skihorse · 21/05/2010 06:13

switty I lived with a Flem for 2 years - I have done the family holiday to Switzerland , pretended that one SIL wasn't addicted to plastic surgery, the other wasn't being beaten by her husband and been served tinned clementines with my roast hare on xmas day. Nothing you can say about the Flems will surprise me!

What is troughing cunty? In conjunction with your fb status update it sounds like you're getting stuck in to the lady-love business.

skihorse · 21/05/2010 06:15

I haz just realised - your offspring will be half Flemish and half Irish girl working in Brussels.

organiccarrotseedsareplanted · 21/05/2010 07:01

Very good one ski

switty thank you . It's significantly higher than we would accept (although lower than the asking price) and we're delighted. We've said we wouldn't want to move until at least the end of August so hopefully I will be able to eat most of my veg! We're looking for a fast exchange - slow completion and they seem very comfortable with that. Next step is for the agent to confirm they can actually afford it as they claim they don't need to sell their to buy ours. We will see.

Have to concur, though, with t'others - not sure about your house option . Sorry to be a downer.

OK, now will you all please stop it. It turns out that I also have fur on my boobs and tummy - about 6" long, blonde (I'm a brun), thick as a yeti's arse and strokable. Fortunately I then woke up and it had gone away. Now last night I was reading a post from ski who was advising us that Julian was now "out". Apparently her waters broke during a visit to a restaurant. She laboured for 10 hours (and drew a nice picture of her cervix dilating for our information), but ended up with a CS due to the Icelandic ash cloud causing distruption within the hospital. He was in hospital for a day but has now been released, despite being 10 weeks early, and is fine and gorgeous.

CS woke me up at 5am doing a little dance, making a little love, getting down in the morning, so I'm assuming that said post comes into the same category as the hairy boobs, and the previous one where cosmo whooshed into our PESH meet, Ice-man like, on a river of amniotic fluid.

Please to advise.

SilverSky · 21/05/2010 07:08

I have sent chum request!

skihorse · 21/05/2010 07:17

hahahaha rots have you been on the blue cheese before bed? Btw, I think I may have been the only one who picked up on your mum's knowledge of YOB's willy!

Silver OK, you will soon receive an invite to a top secret location.
