Hmm re the tearing and sewing up thing, Mr C always said that if it happened to me he would ask them to "put in a couple of stitches extra". He didn't ask I hasten to add but when i asked him the first time we got back down to it post birth if it felt any different he said not at all! (after joking it was like waving a flag in the Albert Hall). Pelvic floors pelvic floors pelvic floors I chant!

I am off to the council offices this afternoon as we seem to have aquired a family of foxes who are nesting under our shed. In light of recent maulings figured if I turn up with 1 child and preggers with another they may do something about it. What do you reckon??? Someone said getting your bloke to pee in a watering can and water the garden with it keeps them at bay as they don't like male pee, so Mr C will have his orders tomorrow!

OkieCokie · 11/06/2010 14:54

Moo I saw this and thought of you. Havem't read the whole thing yet - will do later. I have heard the front wheel of the Vibe is crap too. The Dash is supposed to be the best. Peppermint will give you good advice.

skihorse · 11/06/2010 15:23

Cosmosis Without this document I'm not sure I'm able to prove I'm his mother.

haha okie If your fella goes around sprinkling the garden then the neighbours will phone the council and get him trapped!

skihorse · 11/06/2010 15:25

Horsey PESHes - have just received passive-aggressive text from 16 year old who has hacked out my horse twice since december - never cleaned the tack and didn't do the one thing I asked her to do (pull mane) - moaning about me asking for locker key back and "can't she ride ?" anymore. How to handle without being absolute bitch?

Cosmosis · 11/06/2010 16:26

ah, just be a bitch.

cheggers · 11/06/2010 16:53

ski am pretty sure the weight gain is pizza, bread and curry related rather than any thyroid problems

but thank you curls for flattering me. those photos however were highly edited to avoid the worst ones. have been using the double pram for arse cover!

anyway have now put myself on breastfeeding slimming world which is actually quite nice as you can have more of the extra stuff than normal. not so much pizza though sadly.

anyway yes. my snorkel in the bath treatment was an epic fail. i have some funny pictures at least - but they will not be appearing on my fb page

perhaps you can do some swimming to turn him ski? i only couldn't go at the end coz of me knackered kidney. finally got the tube removed the other day. it was fookin huge

rots have been pumping since the hospital. at the beginning it was to boost supply to cope with 2, and now we do it so we can give them a bottle before bed (and to prepare for going out on lash again). at the beginning they would want to cluster feed all night from about 4 in the afternoon till about 11 which was exhausting. giving them a bottle of expressed seems to quickly get it down their necks and fill em up enough to do a proper long sleep.

however, had a recent disaster in that the big one has started making decisions and decided she doesn't want a bottle anymore. mmmmmm did not see that coming as was fretting too much about it being the other way. any advice from the second timers greatly received!

will have another go tonight. trying to tank em up so we can go the beer garden ....

donttrythisathome · 11/06/2010 17:29

Oi there was no sunroof for me either. Came within a cat's whisker of it though.

Hi cheggs!! How's the winz - any names or is you private.

donttrythisathome · 11/06/2010 17:29

Ahem...twinz

donttrythisathome · 11/06/2010 17:39

"Rots" here is a link to a guide to how to stop babies overfeeding on EBM in a bottle. Look at Patricia's post half way down.

I found it very helpful in stopping DD guzzling too much of the EBM, as she was taking in a lot, which apparently can lead to obesity (getting used to feeling overfull) and rejecting the breast (again getting used to getting lots of food really quick). I also use the Tommee Tippee Close to nature bottles which mimic the breast. this is a good guide to bottle feeding too.

donttrythisathome · 11/06/2010 17:41

Feck - not Patricia's post but PAULA's post. Babybrain.....

CUNextTuesday · 11/06/2010 18:22

Humble apologies don'ttry, I mistakenly opened your sunroof. In my defence my powers of recall are not as they were. Thanks be to dog though, it means the pressure's off on the chimney delivery...

Reckon curlsworld is going to go before me though

ski bin at me sister's innit. I'll text you the minute something happens I promise. I know how you worry...

skihorse · 11/06/2010 18:37

Funny cunty - I said exactly the same to cossie this afternoon - I think you and curly are the next two up and I wouldn't be surprised if she elbows you out of the way!

skihorse · 11/06/2010 18:41

cheggers I'm not really sure what I make of it all right now - I suppose things will be clearer after my mw appointment on Tuesday - no point spending the weekend worrying. I am planning on going swimming this weekend though - simply because it's so lovely and I fear I've got a touch of sciatia and the swimming is such gentle exercise.

I didn't realise you were still having kidney probs you poor thing! That's now three PESH's with dodgy kidneys.

donttry She has called them Salt & Peppa, if it had been triplets there'd have been Spinderella. Which is nice. It's unusual.

CurlyCasper · 11/06/2010 18:52

Could all just be my paranoia ladies. At this rate I'll be the grumpy, still-stuffed whale come August

Booooooo. Freeview is fucked. Just Beeb 1 & 2. Hope that doesn't leave me stuck with football

SilverSky · 11/06/2010 19:12

Happy Friday girlz. I am not in a good place. Can't explain here. Husband is away too which does not help so home alone with an in season mutt so it's gonna be a fun filled Friday night here. Not.

Hoss is a ok. Is being hacked out by fellow livery tmw and a livery and her pal on Sunday. They all haz a list of da rulz for riding.

Congrats all new mums on your babywins.

I am going to buy TT bottles as I have read good things about them.

Bayberry has been moving a lot today tho still feels like a bubble and the odd push. Am sure it won't be long til I am getting a right prodding and shiz.

So fanny is he gorgeous and everyfink?

SilverSky · 11/06/2010 19:14

ski you get points for comedy value, once again !

Just what the psychiatrist friendly quack ordered.

Cosmosis · 11/06/2010 19:34

hihosilver sorry you is not in good place I hope weekend improves.

SilverSky · 11/06/2010 19:40

Thanks cozzie. The trauma is being inflictedby third parties and I hates them I do.

S'pose I should get my butt off the sofa and cookmu dinner. Can't be arsed tone honest but we need to eat! We are having sketti and dough balls. Yum.

Ariesgirl · 11/06/2010 19:59

um...sorry to barge in. Just wanted to congratulate Fanny.

I'll go now.
Hi to Curly and Ski

rollerbaby · 11/06/2010 20:22

Fannnnnnnnniiieeeeee! Well done peshlet! Hope it all went as well as it could and you are loving being a new mummy!!

Have been a bit quiet of late. Work has been a bastard and v tired. Just heated up tin of soup and lying on sofa whilst mr moo goes out and pretends not to get drunk. Grrrr.

Went to M&P's today and might have gone a bit mad in the blue department....

CurlyCasper · 11/06/2010 20:57

fanny big congrats rolling in from old Deli mates, with particular smooches from ginhag. Hope you'll be back with us soon and all is going well xxx

rots · 11/06/2010 20:59

dontry thanks, I'll take a look

cheg if she's rejecting a bottle, you could try a cup (even for ickle babies). HV would give advice.

ski was chatting to mum about breech. She told me she'd never delivered a breech but her first delivery as a qualified MW was twins with the first baby breech (known and planned). The first baby was delivered by an obst and she delivered the second. No perineal damage so is possible without being chopped up which is what I assume you're concerned about (you mentioned damage). However she also said you've got loads of time for him to turn, esp if you do lots of optimal foetal positioning things, and you could ask for an external version if there's anyone local willing and able to do it.

CUNextTuesday · 11/06/2010 21:29

Had a good firm seeing-to yesterday evening and big fat ruby murray this evening. I'm going about keeping this kid in till July in completely the wrong way aren't I

CurlyCasper · 11/06/2010 21:38

You might as well go for a long run, chow down on 10 fresh pineapples and guzzle a jug of raspberry leaf tea cunty. Oh, and twizzle your nips for a few hours. That'll keep Rastus in there, alright

Having more evening cluster BHs. most bizarre. Thankfully telly is almost back to normal and husband has taken the hint to go and bake cake. I love him so much

OkieCokie · 11/06/2010 21:40

Hmmm cunty and eating pineapple and drinking raspeberry leaf tea by any chance?

So council can do naff all about fox family. Apparently if I snare them myself (with my bare hands like?) then I am not permitted to rehouse them and I have to kill them. The helpful council man suggested poisioning them or get this "shooting" them. How the fuck does he think I am going to do that?!?! Anyway, guess Mr C will be pissing in the garden tomorrow then...

Cheggers I had heard playex bottle latex teats here were as close to the real thing as you could get. A friend of mine struggled with getting her baybee to take the botttle and these worked for her. I also have heard the cold turkey method has also worked but this is a bit brutal!

Excellent going though on the expressing!
