Morning girls, I'm still pregnant 29weeks today!
Think I'm carrying a naughty (but cute) baby!! So it better be good once s/he's here!
I got to the hospital yesterday and they CTG'd me, had a couple of mild tightenings then nothing. Thankfully! So definitely not labour. Baby's heartbeat wasn't very consistent tho, averaging about 154bpm, but on more than one occasion it dipped down to the 80's and 90's. MW's didn't seem concerned so am hoping that somehow that was my heartbeat that it picked up - I already know I have a faster than normal pulse so I guess it makes sense.
And baby had hiccups . Bless the little angel - it kept hiccuping and moving out of the way of the sonicaid. DH thought it was very funny, I just melted and though 'Awwwwww' .
Sorry didn't update you all, I got told off by the mw's and told to rest (you were right girls - taking more notice now. I DO NOT want the baby out just yet so will be a good girl).
Took the rest of the day off work and dh treated us to KFC cos we were both starving! I think we got home about 3:30 and I just slept, woke up briefly when dh picked up the kids from my mums about 5pm, then went to bed and slept....woke up to watch some of the Fulham match (they lost - BOO!)....then went back to bed and slept again.
My body must be exhausted!
I'm at work now but it's only half day anyway as me and the kids have the dentist this afternoon. Got a feeling I'm gonna get a telling off cos their teeth are not in the best shape . Thing is we don't even give them sweets! My mum and dh's mum and dad make sure the kids have lollipops and jellys...even though we say no . They brush their teeth twice a day too so am not happy about them having fillings . Oh well...
CazEm I'm sorry the A&E dept weren't very helpful, it's so frustrating that you know theres something wrong and yet the people who should be in a position to help don't appear to be interested.
Nat I'm afraid I've no idea on the chemicals hun. Google told me this tho I don't know how ghelful it is.
MrsZaC I'm planning on BF'ing too but I've already got the Tommee Tippee microwave steriliser, 6 CTN bottles, and a CTN manual breat pump - because I plan on expressing sometimes so DH can join in the night-time feeds . Oh also, I only used an electtric one in the hospital and although it does free up your hands - it's still rubbish!! Manual all the way!
Hi cakey long time no see - hope you're well
