Caz. I had this chair for my DS. I did buy him a head hugger. It won't do any harm to get one, especially when they're newborn and their heads loll around so much.

CellyD · 12/05/2010 20:50

Cherry hope you and baby are well.

CazEm sorry the trip to hospital didn't speed up the referral.

I'm starting to feel like a whale and I still have 3 months + to go...

Emster30 · 12/05/2010 20:55

Hope you're OK Cherry.

Also that your DH is OK Caz - I think it sounds like the right decision to go to hospital today.

We're going to need a new thread quite soon, aren't we? Any ideas on titles? I was wondering what the chances are of seeing our first arrival in the next thread - I hope not, as a month from now only takes the furthest of us up to 33-34 weeks.

kcoffin27 · 12/05/2010 22:54

Hope all is ok cherry.

I saw the mw today, got high blood pressure and baby is breech. Got to spend the whole morning tomorrow at the hospital or my gtt test

babyducky · 13/05/2010 08:36

Morning,

Hope your ok cherry, & your dh caz & hope it goes ok at the hospital kcoffin

We are thinking of getting a babasling, anyone used one?

Thanks for the link blueberries, just going to have a look at it.

mrsZaC · 13/05/2010 08:55

morning ladies,

Fingers crossed for cherry lets hope she's just resting

about the Fbook group, I've now made it secret so I'll have to invite you to the group. The best thing to do is 'add' me as a friend, my name is Z o e C a m p b e l l from glasgow and my picture is me with shoulder length brown hair leaning against my hubby in my wedding dress.. send me a message when you add me to say that you are from Mnet and I'll invite you into the group

caz that's rubbish about your DH, you must be worried.. I'm sure that it will all be ok

kcoffin hope today goes well for you.. you get that baby told to behave itself and turn around!

Chulita · 13/05/2010 09:01

Morning! Im' getting a full night's sleep at the mo and a midday nap and I'm absolutely shattered. I've had two blood tests recently, I'm hoping that yesterday's one comes back as me being anaemic cos then I can take something for it and get some energy back. There's so much I want to do but just can't summon up the oomph to even read DD a book.

Hope cherry's ok.

cazem that's crap about the hospital...you wonder what they'd class as serious

So annoyed my lovely 2nd trimester bloom is well and truly gone

CherryPie3 · 13/05/2010 09:52

Morning girls, I'm still pregnant 29weeks today!

Think I'm carrying a naughty (but cute) baby!! So it better be good once s/he's here!

I got to the hospital yesterday and they CTG'd me, had a couple of mild tightenings then nothing. Thankfully! So definitely not labour. Baby's heartbeat wasn't very consistent tho, averaging about 154bpm, but on more than one occasion it dipped down to the 80's and 90's. MW's didn't seem concerned so am hoping that somehow that was my heartbeat that it picked up - I already know I have a faster than normal pulse so I guess it makes sense.
And baby had hiccups . Bless the little angel - it kept hiccuping and moving out of the way of the sonicaid. DH thought it was very funny, I just melted and though 'Awwwwww' .

Sorry didn't update you all, I got told off by the mw's and told to rest (you were right girls - taking more notice now. I DO NOT want the baby out just yet so will be a good girl).
Took the rest of the day off work and dh treated us to KFC cos we were both starving! I think we got home about 3:30 and I just slept, woke up briefly when dh picked up the kids from my mums about 5pm, then went to bed and slept....woke up to watch some of the Fulham match (they lost - BOO!)....then went back to bed and slept again.
My body must be exhausted!
I'm at work now but it's only half day anyway as me and the kids have the dentist this afternoon. Got a feeling I'm gonna get a telling off cos their teeth are not in the best shape . Thing is we don't even give them sweets! My mum and dh's mum and dad make sure the kids have lollipops and jellys...even though we say no . They brush their teeth twice a day too so am not happy about them having fillings . Oh well...

CazEm I'm sorry the A&E dept weren't very helpful, it's so frustrating that you know theres something wrong and yet the people who should be in a position to help don't appear to be interested.

Nat I'm afraid I've no idea on the chemicals hun. Google told me this tho I don't know how ghelful it is.

MrsZaC I'm planning on BF'ing too but I've already got the Tommee Tippee microwave steriliser, 6 CTN bottles, and a CTN manual breat pump - because I plan on expressing sometimes so DH can join in the night-time feeds . Oh also, I only used an electtric one in the hospital and although it does free up your hands - it's still rubbish!! Manual all the way!

Hi cakey long time no see - hope you're well

KCoffin Good luck with the GTT - bleurgh! Treat yourself to something lovely afterwards cos you'll be starving!

Chulita Me too Just so tired all the time...

I had to laugh a couple of minutes ago as some of my colleagues came in to start their shift and said "erm...you're here?" . They all expected me to give birth yesterday and were going to bring flowers, bless em!!

Best go get some work done....

Hi, I'm new to this page, is it still being used?

I am due on 15th of August and I know I'm having a little boy, who is already named and to whom I chat to all the time.

David7 · 14/07/2014 19:48

I have a brand new Emmaljunga 3in 1 pram if you are interested.
