was only messing cos and to be fair I only saw mine do it cause I squeezed!

CurlyCasper · 07/04/2010 13:05

aren;t we a glamorous bunch! vag hope you get some rest now it's all over.

iggypiggy · 07/04/2010 13:09

VAG I haz the dream genii one - and I love it. But am beginning to realise that a cheaper wedge pillow from mothercare or somewhere would also be good - then put normal pillow between knees...

Having said that - The pillow i have is very comfy and I like it alot it def makes it easier for me to sleep...

curls I is well sexy

Cosmosis · 07/04/2010 13:10

i have not dared squeeze!!

skihorse · 07/04/2010 13:22

I am sometimes tempted to squeeze... and then I think of cheggers and I go and do something else nice instead. (e.g., clean behind loo, check dogs bums for worms etc.)

I am sleeping when I can get it in whatever position, including ON MY TUMMY! I've always slept on my right and Julian's kicking is going on mostly on the left. As someone else said, he's going to come out. I've got a sausage pillow with removable cover which once it's been clamped between my thighs & foofoo for another couple of months may need a rinse.

Welcome back iggy & vag. I'm glad your ponie is settled in to his new place and jealous of your sit. I was very tempted to tack up on sunday... The yard was empty as everyone had gone to Brussels on a mercy mission to rescue Lydia who moved there 1 month ago with her middle-aged, cock-faced, alcoholic lecturer. He dumped her last summer and she was supposed to be moving in with him next weekend... instead it looks as though she'll be moving back here next weekend. Whilst everyone saw this coming I'm not sure we expected it to be this quick. She's not been using contraception either...

VAG just buy the bigger bed now. Honestly. If you think a bump takes up a lot of space in the bed, you cannot begin to imagine how much space one more tiny person can take up, especially when they are so new they have no idea it's rude to hog the whole bed, and you daren't poke them over on account of being terrifed you will hurt them or squash them when they are sleeping. OH resisted the whole 'new bed' thing, until we went to stay in a plush hotel with a 6 ft bed for a long weekend. We had a new bed a week later .

Ski I used to build increasingly elaborate pillow constructions so that I could sleep on my tummy with my bump in a kind of a pit in the pillows. I don't seem to sleep on my front so much these days - I think my boobs are just too big now. Sounds terrible about Lydia, btw. And ffs, just get on the horse for a couple of minutes! Who was it lecturing me about the relative safety of jumping logs in the woods not so long ago?

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 07/04/2010 14:04

We has a 7' bed . Perfect for having the neighbours over for 4-in-a-bed romps. *

skihorse · 07/04/2010 14:04

pandora Oh it gets worse, she gave up her flat and her job. Job has, since she started become overly-regulated meaning she'll never get back in. She is absolutely stunning to look at but has no qualifications (horse dentistry aside) - her mother is one of those "we look like sisters don't we?"/"I'm not your mummy darling, I'm your best friend". Cue very fucked up mid-20s girl looking for a daddy figure. I would've ridden but I'm a bit nervous about her foot and I'm 1.5 stone heavier than normal... mind you, I've ridden her at heavier than this - maybe I should just man up! I have an enormous bed, pretty much par for the course with the cloggies.

  • actually, we don't do that. And if you knew our neighbours you'd know we don't WANT to do that. But I felt that my online persona needed perking up.

But we do have a 7' bed. It's fab, until you have to buy new bedding. We also have a monster bedroom, specifically for the trampolene and high wire sex that we have *

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 07/04/2010 14:06
  • actually we don't do that, either. But we DO have a monster bedroom which is good, as we need it to fit in the monster bed.
carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 07/04/2010 14:08

ski not good

On the other hand, my mother has been referred to as my younger sister and .

My mum had me at 20. I'm gonna be 36 when this one is born. I'm NEVER gonna be mistaken for my sons' younger sister. [dramatic sigh emoticon]

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 07/04/2010 14:09

So I'm the only one getting braxton hicks then?

rots When jailbait joined my gym the sales girl said "Is this your mum?".

OP posts:
skihorse · 07/04/2010 14:11

Which in retrospect is fucking cheeky because nobody at work knew I was "so old"! and jailbait's just been asked for ID at the golf club to prove he's under 25.

pandora sort of north and a bit east! I'll get the ice and slice ready

rollerbaby · 07/04/2010 14:13

Curly soz about your dream house. That is very annoying. In the past I have salivated at the estate agent details, done a drive by and realised that house is next to a sewage facility/motorway/whorehouse which was also quite disappointing.

Can I join in the bed dramas? We are equally fed up with our queen size bed which Mr Moo is threatening to abandon and move into spare room now as I fiddle and toss and turn now (never did before apparently, just snored like a pig apparently ). so the only solution is a big bed. Pandy how big is big enough? I've seen one which is 2m x 2m but frankly size of our bedroom so not sure. Would be ace though. Am a big pillow fan so am looking forward to padding my entire body with additional goose feathers.

CurlyCasper · 07/04/2010 14:17

Thanks moo Have just spotted another but it might well be a case of too noisy and too costly to heat (right by the road, single glazed, oil heating)

carrots no BH here. I expect i'd know if I was having them?

Think we might just end up in separate beds once we've moved, if I'm that uncomfortable. I get two nights on my own every week anyway.

pandora69 · 07/04/2010 14:23

Oh don't do metric on me! I don't understand it. Our bed is 6ft wide and 6ft6 long - super-kingsize. It's lovely It doesn't matter if it takes up the whole bedroom, as you have loads of storage space underneath it!

rollerbaby · 07/04/2010 14:29

God that sounds great. Can I come and live with you? (Talking to Panda not Curly now).

Curly def don't want to live right by a main road unless you are partially deaf. I did it once and nearly went mad with frustration.

OkieCokie · 07/04/2010 14:29

I want a new bed I want a new bed . I am already sleeping lightly, a sure sign of being pregnant and most nights wander into spare room at 2.00am when MrC turns and lies on his back and snores. Reckon a 7 foot bed would mean I could stay in the marital bed more often.

I just got flowers at work! That never happens. Thought they were from MrC but no, they are from my colleagues from overseas for my birthday which was on Sunday! I feel popular and liked, but maybe they are trying to soften me up for something

carrotsarenottheonlyvegetable · 07/04/2010 14:30

cas well I guess so, although I wonder if I'm noticing a bit more having had them before. .

Very annoying - waited 2 weeks for the NCT to send me a Dream Genii super expensive flipping pillow as their website didn't say out of stock (as it does for other items so I figured it was IN stock). Anyway, it's going to be at least another week, so I got it elsewhere for delivery tomorrow - hurrah. Shame the NCT doesn't get my cash though, but chrity or not, I'm limited in how long I can use this and at 35 squids for a stuffed piece of friggin cotton (not even ORGANIC cotton!!) I don't want to miss out on using it.

MUST work. MUST work.

rollerbaby · 07/04/2010 14:31

It's 6.674 x 6.674 Pandy. Is that showing off large do you think? Maybe super king is best - I'll never be able to find sheets for it otherwise.

Cosmosis · 07/04/2010 14:34

Am i freak for just having a normal double and liking it?

rollerbaby · 07/04/2010 14:35

I fink I'd quite like flowers at work AND a new bed.
